  1. January 31st. :music_whistling:
  2. Again, this is due to limitations within DCS. Sidearm is only powerful enough to destroy radar dishes. DCS doesn't simulate vehicle damage well. SAM objects are either 100% active or destroyed. The "health bar" may lower, but there is no corresponding decrease in unit effectiveness. ED would have to re-do vehicle damage model to include partial damage for sidearm to be truly effective in DCS.
  3. I'm going to have to agree with this. Straight of Hormuz specified exactly where I could expect the map to cover. When you say Persian Gulf, I immediately expect a map covering the entire Persian Gulf...not a small sub-section of it. I will wait for the final map parameters to be released before commenting further, however, expect new people to be unhappy when they buy "DCS: Persian Gulf" and only get the Straight of Hormuz.
  4. Was about to post the same thing
  5. I'm not expecting to see the release of the F14 until fall 2018.
  6. Hmmm...what 2 seater aircraft has ground radar? Tornado confirmed! :D
  7. Sounds like we should see the JF-17 in late 2018/early 2019. Still a lot of coding to do but it looks like it's coming along nicely!
  8. Why would licensing be an issue? MIG 23/29 were developed by the USSR. The intellectual property rights for those aircraft were owned by the Soviet government (in theory the rights were owned by the Soviet people). USSR no longer exists.
  9. New WIP shots up on their FB page.
  10. :D M3 to the pit of misery!
  11. At M3 dev meeting: 1. "We're all set to announce the Christen Eagle in two weeks" 2. "No, no, no! Let's make everyone guess what we're making" 1. "Why" 2. "Because everyone will think it's funny when our new plane turns out to be a civilian bi-plane and not a new fighter" Announcement day:
  12. Wow, I cannot believe they trolled so hard for this. Talk about not understanding your market. This plane should have been announced in a newsletter, not uber-hyped like you were releasing something amazing. I genuinely wish M3 luck and hope they can fix the Mig-21.
  13. I seriously doubt (and hope) they would play these type of games only to reveal a stunt bi-plane. Talk about a major letdown if it turns out to be true.
  14. New Mig-19 development picture on RAZBAM's Facebook page.
  15. ED hasn't made it yet. They're still working on the A/A radar mode and the Hornet will enter early access with only the A/A radar mode. You're looking at quite a while before 3rd parties have access to a fully functional A/G radar made by ED.
  16. Pilots usually meet the aircraft on the ramp. They rarely, if ever, ride the elevator from the hangar deck.
  17. Screenshots for those of us away from home? :)
  18. Getting close to monthly update time ;)
  19. Nice. Looking forward to the Mig 19!
  20. That's some good photoshop!
  21. Back in post #199 Wags has a screenshot of the exact areas covered by the SoH map.
  22. Looking good! Can't wait for this release!
  23. Prowler...will the RAZBAM-developed ships be available upon early access release?
  24. Will the RAZBAM-built ships be available on release day?
