No problem :) So far the only predesigned i have made are those for the A-10C. But i intend to make many more, to other aircrafts, and other games too. If anyone have a game they would want panels for... thats where the custom panels come in. However, right now im open for all ideas, so if you have any ideas for Panels, dont hold back. As mentioned before, Custom designed panels will in the beginning of the sale not cost more than the Predesigned Panels :) -

Here is another small update before the sales go live. when you buy a CUB, you can choose to buy a Power Supply with the CUB, which is only needed for the backlight. If you buy 2 cubs, you wont need another Power Supply, Because the power supply we provide can run several CUB's (10+). But lets say someone would want 3 CUB's, then you can get a power "splitter" from us, that you can then use to provide power to all units. When we release the Backlight On/Off/Dimmer Box for the CUB's, it will be very simple to install it between the power supply and the CUB's. The Power supply we provide will be delivered without a "computer" cable, which is the cord from your Electric outlet and to the supply. The reason for this is that there are so many different types, depending on where in the world you live. but that should be real simply for anyone to purchase themselves. Its the same cord that is used for all PC's and most Monitors :) Hereunder we have the pricelist, not everything is listed, this is to give you the price on the units. There will be many more Options, for example the unit without Backlight will cause the price to go down even further. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Plug & Play Pre Assembled Unit With Backlight, Without Panels: 1300 DKK ex.VAT DIY Assembly Kit With backlight, Without Panels: 910 DKK ex.VAT (keep in mind that clamping wires and soldering are going to be needed for assembling) Pre Designed Panel Set From Shop: 255 DKK ex.VAT Custom Designed Panel Set: 370 DKK ex.VAT ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Keep in mind that only EU Customers are subject to 25% VAT. Let me know if you have any questions :) -

Okay, we where accually ready, when we found out that the LED strips we are using and have designet the Casing for, is on their way out of the market. So now we are awaiting new LED strips in the mail, to test which are best, and then you will be hearing from us again :) -
You could have an arduino for each Panel in the cockpit, and then connect them to some big USB Hubs with external power source. Then you wont need as many USB connections to the PC itself. Another option is so have one "connection" box, which contains a lot of arduinos etc. for connecting all the panels at once. and then from there connect a few USB Cords to the PC. I inted to make such units, that covers each Side Console and the MIP, and then you can wire the entire cockpit throught that. But i have to make the entire pit before thats possible, and until then, each panel can have their own Arduino, which is also fine for those who dont want a full set of panels, but only a few.

Thank you :) I know what you mean, and yes, a white surface will give you a bigger contrast when not backlit than the opaque one. But this panel is not build in layers like most others, this is one solid 6mm acrylic sheet, which means that you won't have paint falling off the edges when used for some time. When you put a LED strip behind this, it lights up beautifully. What I am playing with, for a future product line, is panels made like the real ones is. That means still a single 6mm acrylic sheet, but painted white, and then black before its engraved. This will give the contrast between the black and white like the original panels. These panel will also have a PCB with LEDs between the Panel and its Backplate, which means that it's backlit, without having to install LED strips behind it. This also means that the price will be higher, due to the extra paint and PCB, and we're playing with the possibility for choosing both Acrylic and Aluminum Backplates for these. So we could go ahead and call these first panels a "light" edition, meant for those who don't want backlight and or want to make it themselves, in reality you can install one long LED strip under the entire console, and they will all be backlit. And then we could call the later panels I just mentioned for "pro" version maybe, for those who want a little extra in their simpit. This is a personally choise, as I could make only one type, but this way I feel people have more freedom when choosing panels. However if there is enough interest, I could make this version with the white painted layers too... But it will affect the price :)

As promised, when i started showing panels with backplates, i could release a price. The Electrical Control Panel will when released cost 349 DDK That price includes the Panel, the backplate, the Switch Guard and all the screws and DZUS replicas as shown in the picture. The switches are not included in this price tho, but we will follow up with a price including the switches. We are also working on the back Casing, with or without Backlight and / or Arduino. You will be able to buy all our panels as DIY packs, or as preassembled units, with or without arduino with preloaded DCS BIOS. The final unit will make it possible to simply put a LED strip into the back casing between the switches, and the panel will be backlit. More pictures of this will follow when we get the casing done. :) Just as a heads up, we will also release a Power unit, which works along with the Lighting Panel, which can connect all Panels Backlight, so they can be controlled from the Lighting Panel like in the real plane.

a3an4e Is right. DCS Bios is what you should use for hooking up your panels. We will make our panels available with a back casing. that gives the buyer the possibility to install backlighting and arduinos, and connecting all the wire inside the box. You can see more about DCS Bios Here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=141096

So now i have assembled the first Panel. There is still a couple of small changes i want to make, but i will show you the entire line of pictures, to show the quality and looks. A closeup of the Engravings. Test to show the backlight possibility. The backplate. The backplate ffrom the back. Complete with switches. Look from the back with switches.

With a little Engraving Error to be solved :)
-
This is also far from Finished, its missing the instruments bezels.
-
Thanks :) I Will
-
And the Switch guards for the Panels.
-
Thank you, i will also be selling those alone.... Here is one more picture. This is far from finished, the small Panel light over the HYD instruments are in the works.
-
This is made for 6mm mini toggle switches, which i will make 3D printed Switch tops for, so they look like the original Green, Red and White Valves.
-
And of course, with every set of panels that is mounted with DZUS fasteners in the real plane, i will include my DZUS Replica's :)
-
Im working on that :) I need to finish the Backplates before i can say anything.... They need to be painted and engraved :) when i have the final time, i can calculate the final price. :) So when i begin to show the panels with backplates mounted, i can also release the price :)

The A-10C Panels are slowly getting ready for sale. We are going to offer 2 types of Panels. A DIY version, That can easily be backlit by placing any light source behind it. That means that the Backplate will be Acrylic too, so the light can travel through it. The second type will be the Panels build like the Real Panels are, with the Backlight embedded in the Light Plate, and with a Aluminum Backplate. This type of Panels are going to take some more prototyping before we can make those available. So for starters we are going to make the DIY version. This Lighting Panel underneath is a protoype, there is some small Details i need to change with the text. Of course what you see is not the finished product, screws, switch guards and the backplate are being made as i write this post. I have alot of the panels designed and ready to be cut, with the exeption of the more complex panels, where an instrument or a LCD screen are involved. The rest will be ready for sale very soon. The panels is Made of Opaque Acrylic, which is painted and then engraved on a CNC Router. The Engraving are very sharp and precise, and the paint are very durable. Its has chamfered edges, Milled holes on the back to make room for fastening the Switches and potentiometers. Its not painted on the back, so placing a lightsource behind it will make the panel light up. Im also working on a 3D printed back Casing, which makes it possible to mount backlight strips, and arduino in the unit. And of course, the panel and the parts, can be purchased individually, so you are not forced to buy the complete pack if you only want the light plate and backplate. More panels will follow :)
-
Thank you Hans, i will do that :) And You are correct. The UFC shares the same build "technique" ad the CDU because of the pushbuttons and the backlight of course. We are in the process of finding the best solution for making the PCB's, wheter we make them ourself, or get them made elsewhere. I cant say when we will be ready, since we have so much going on, and by saying we, the Development is mainly me, my partner is working on all the electronics and the Coding. But right now, hes working on getting the CUB ready for the market, and then hes back on the UFC/CDU PCB project :)
-
Your right, i have mistaken the 4,7 to be the offset, when its the distance to the outer edge of the panel. Thank you for letting me know :) i will correct it and upload a newer version. :)

i will produce the Landing gear panel, with a functional Landing gear lever for the A-10.. when its done it will be easy to make the lever into another panel if anyone want :) The backlight are pure green. we can also supply Blue, Red, White and Yellow. It would be pretty easy for you to mount a RGB Strip in the unit bu yourself. We intend to make a Side unit that can control the light on severel Cub's, with the possibility to switch it on and off, and dimmer the light. -

The bottom plate will be Black Acrylic instead of the White that you see on the above pictures.
