    Ikarus for M-2000

    Hi there, I have just installed and tested the universal export script and ikarus with the M2000. It's really great. I have also tested it with the F15. A few comments / questions : F15 ADI :The pitch and glide path informations are wrong. I have edited the FC_auxiliaryFunctions.lua to solve the problem : lNavInfoPitch = lNavInfoPitch / (lRadToDCSsignd * -1) lNavInfoRoll = lNavInfoRoll / lRadToDCSsignd lPitch = lPitch / (lRadToDCSsignd / 2) --(lRadToDCSsignd / 1.5) lBank = lBank / lRadToDCSsignd M2000 AOA : the information is wrong (it should be 3 times higher) M2K_HSI : it's impossible to find it in cockpit editor mode (it do not appear in the class menu) and the needle for the mode selector doesn't move (Cv nav, nav, TAC, VAD...) I didn't found the variable on the M-2000C.lua file to solve that. (I am a beginner with lua... sorry) Any idea ?

    No ideas ? A/A refueling with the Su33 is really cool ! This wonderful M2000 module deserve the same option IMHO

    2d fuel probe

    Hi, I wondering if there is a mod somewhere regarding the fuel probe : I use the m2000 exclusively in HUD view (without 3d cockpit) so refueling operations are impossible as the 3d model of the fuel probe is not display. With the su33 there is an option to display a 2d model of the fuel probe in HUD view. Nothing like that with the M2000... Is there a mod somewhere or is it possible to add this option easely ? EDIT : I ve just tested the SU33, the probe in hud view is a 3d model, my mistake.

  8. OK, Thanks to your inputs, I manage to get a solid 50 FPS. I've overclocked my i7 @4.7Ghz, tied DCS to realcore with Processlasso. Big up guys ! The only setting overloading the CPU is the shadows ! (some annoying stuttering). is that has something to do with my mermory (only 16gb) ?

Another question : Why is there such a difference in performance when the pause is active ? https://tof.cx/images/2018/03/15/445fc50b4f88d9950f2021b861d84df6.png https://tof.cx/images/2018/03/15/a42c164834c9363f1ade535de379817c.png These two screenshots are not exactly at the same time, but even if I pause/unpause immediately, I have the same delta, almost 60 FPS unpause and 100 paused (caped at 100 FPS in the graphics.lua)
  11. Soundslikerust, you really are my friend ! I do not have any real expertise in computer hardware but I needed to understand why I wasn't able to have a solid 50FPS with my simulator. I use 4 videoprojectors (1920*1080) on a dome display. I also use a software for warping purpose. With a previous simulator that only used 3 videoprojectors but with higher resolution (1920*1200), I had better consistant FPS. If you read my answer on this topic https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=202092&page=10, you can see that I was wondering why I did not reach 50FPS although my GPU and my CPU was not at 100% use. I thought that my GPU was the bottlneck, now with your precious informations I understand that the CPU is the problem ! Doesn't it means that increasing the number of viewports is far more CPU demanding than increasing resolution ? Am I right ? If so, having a super overcloacked CPU may be the solution ?

  13. Hi all, I have read a lot of topics about performance issue with DCS and tried many setup without success. My config : I7 6700k (HT deactivated), 16go drr4, GTX 1080 TI, SSD, 4*1080 display @50hz (resolution 7680*1080). Medium vid settings (eg no shadows) I am almost happy regarding perf (50FPS 90% time) but I don't understand why the FPS drop below 50 FPS. For tests purpose, I have deactivated the 50FPS framelock (nvidia inspector) look at this : https://tof.cx/image/TGmue https://tof.cx/image/TG7vb https://tof.cx/image/TG1fc https://tof.cx/image/TGy6G https://tof.cx/image/TGBxh and specialy this one : https://tof.cx/image/TGLND why, for hell's sake I have 31FPS although my GPU is at 38% use and my CPU doesn't seem to be the bottleneck ?!?!? Any guess ? Edit : these tests were performed with DCS 1.5 (but I have the the same issue with the 2.5 beta)
  14. Hello there sorry if it's been asked before ! I have a new challenge, try to use lua for some scripts in the ME. I am using the ME for some years without problems. Until now, I was only using basic rules for triggers. This morning I decided to try those misterious DO SCRIPT actions... Without succes of course. So, after reading some topics here (the sticky one about LUA), I wanted to do some basic stuff BUT I am a total noob in coding. I don't understand the LUA syntax. Is there a good fellow here that could help me in order to achieve that ? I ve tried these singletons : Time function timer.getTime() function trigger.action.outText(string text, Time delay) My goal (e.g) A plane enter a trigger zone at a given speed and altitude, a few moment later it enter a second trigger zone. I would like to display on the screen the elapsed time between those two zones ! Is that something easy to code in the ME with some scripts ?     ^ I have just tested inverted flight (-1g) with more than 300kg in each feeder than with less than that, I can't see any fuel level change. The engine stop aprroximatly after 50 seconds. However engaging the afterburner inverted causes a faster shutdown

    ^This !!! And regarding the autopilot, is there some keybinds for the autopilot altitude selector ? The same applies to the bingo selector.

It would be great to develop these elements: In an ideal world, I would be glad to be able to do without helios and have the possibility to export directly the following gauges: Still for the same purpose : I use a video projector to display the 3d view without 3d cockpit. I need only one element: the refueling pole ! For refuelling operations, I need to switch to 3d cockpit view to see the pole. In the Flamming Cliff modules, the Su33 allows you to have only the pole! Again, thanks a lot for your wonderful module
  21. It doesn't work : In mulitplayer mission, if I set the aircraft initial position on runway (T/O from runway), when I launch the mission and select the correct aircraft, I am not lined up... Strange Anyway, thanks for your help Snowsniper. EDIT : I just found that https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=101399 I understand why there are all these limitations (takeoff only from ramp, cann't respawn automatically in other aircraft..) when you run a multiplayer mission on a net server, but on a much controlled situation (lan), we should be able to do that (pedagogic purpose). Am I wrong ?
  22. I try to understand how to configure HELIOS (Noob here) : Is it possible to export gauges like the ADI (boule), the HSI or the fuel panel ?
