  1. I was looking at Capt Zeen Helios profile site and I saw these excellent night ops style kneeboard pages. Have searched around on the forums and have not found them or any links. If they are available and anyone knows where to download them I would really appreciate a link. http://www.captzeen.com/helios/su25T.asp Thank You
  2. 1,2)Yeah, Helios would probably be you best option to achieve what you are trying to do. I have tried it out at one time but used hawgtouch instead but Helios may work better for you. http://www.gadrocsworkshop.com/helios http://www.captzeen.com/helios/F-15C.asp Another tool/alternative to Helios http://www.qopru.com/mfcdfc3/ 3) I don't know. But on that note you may be served better(for now) using the 1screen setup rather than the 3 screen. This shoud work for your setup. _ = function(p) return p; end; name = _('pwrmx24'); Description = 'pwrmx24' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 5760; height = 1080; viewDx = -0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 5760 / 1080; } } Left_MFCD = { x = 5760; y = 0; width = 1050; height = 1680; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center pwrmx24.lua
  3. I have created a very similar setup for the A-10c on a previous computer with a previous install(1.2). That being said I would say yes that it can be done. At best I can point you in the right direction as I never did this with the F-15 but the concepts should be the same. 1.)Can you post a screen shot of your current setup or tell me if the radar(VSD?), which i have to assume is the left_mfcd, takes up the whole 4th monitor or the correct space that you edited? 2.)If it is correct, another assumption would be that the other indicators ,TEWS and PACS are not actually called RIGHT_MFCD. You may need to find that info and change RIGHT_MFCD to the appropriate name. 3.) Take another look at [How To] Export ALL Indicators like MFCD via ViewPortsthe topic addresses the A-10C but should be relevant for the F-15C. Not all displays or MFCD are exportable by default and have to moded or setup to be able to exported. 4.) F-15 TEWS/RWR Export ?! As I said I do not have experience set with the F-15c and this post is mainly based off assumptions, I hope you can dig some useful info out of this. In my search I have not found anyone stating directly that the other viewports can not be exported but I found this poll. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=155569&highlight=export which would suggest that it can not currently be done.
  4. I have the same problem and have not bothered to fix it, other than just knowing that I have to zoom out. Perhaps someone else may be able to help with this part of the problem.
  5. The original stated problem persists every time I restart my computer, even if it was working fine and nothing was changed. This would not be an issues if I knew what what causing it and how to solve it. My current fix is to keep changing settings and restoring them many times until it works, but there does not seem to be any logical order or reason to why it sometimes works and sometimes does not, as the final fix is something that I may have already done many times. I am able to get it working in a matter of 1-2 mins sometimes 15-30mins or like today been trying for 45mins. Any insight or help would greatly appreciated.
  6. 1 screen is the correct choice, I have never done it but I believe the main function of "3 screens" is setting up different view ports. To solve the zoom in problem start a flight and center and pause your track IR. Set the zoom level and position that you would like and than save that setting in DCS which should be RAlt + Num0 by default. UN-pause track-ir and it should stay zoomed out. I hope this helps, if not let me know I may be able to elaborate further.
  7. You can disable the input device that you do not want to use in device manager and enable them when you want to use them. As far as re-sizing the menu I don't know.
  8. What are you trying to achieve? You may not need to create a .lua setup if you want to something simple like Su-25t with shkval on 2nd monitor. I have attached a picture of my old setup with 2 monitors with 1 Landscape 1 Portrait. Let me know if this is what you are trying to achieve and I can help you set it up very easily with default DCS settings>graphics.
  9. After many restarts and disabling monitors and eyefinity groups DCS decided to finally go back to how it was setup the past few weeks. All is well...for now.
  10. Yes, there is a lot of great info posted on these forums on how to accomplish your desired goal, like exporting MFCD etc. Or you can simply use windows or in your case Nvidia control to setup additional monitors. Once in DCS go to setting>graphics and select the combined resolution of your new monitor setup. Keep in mind how you arrange them will have a large effect on the outcome. As stated a lot has already been posted by folks with more knowledge than myself. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=70716 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89282 http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=116811 These links should help you get started, but there are plenty more.
  11. Everything has been working fine until today. I have been using an Eyefinity display(3 monitors @ 5760x1080) plus another @ 1280x720 for a total of 7040x1080(4 physical monitors). I use the Cam+RMFCD auto. As stated this has produced the desired result for the past 3 weeks using a SU-25t with the Cockpit on the left(Eyefinity) and shkval on the right(single 1280x720 monitor). As of today they have swapped(pic attached) and I have not been able to correct the problem using DCS graphics settings or Windows/AMD settings. The eyefinity group is set the primary monitor and on the left. I have experience setting up multiple monitors and have successfully created 4 screen setup w/exports for the A-10c but have not felt it necessary to go into any editing for the Su-25 since DSC has been producing the desired results until today. A few things I have tried. Switching fullscreen on and off When set back to 1 screen at 5760x1080 it does place cockpit and UI on correct eyefinity display. Disable 2nd 720 monitor and re-enable. Disable and re-enable eyefinity group. Computer restart. Any help to info would be greatly appreciated. other info DCS 1.5.2.xxx Latest Windows 10. Thanks
  12. I know this doesn't address the question, but I find that switching to the next waypoint at about 3-1.5 K before you reach it helps alot. The tighter the turn the greater distance.
  13. So after 3 days of trying many different things to try and solve the my problem. I decide to do a clean OS install, after all my C: drive is just the OS and drivers and a few programs and application data. So knowing that I had nothing to lose but time, and I was unable to play DCS, which I built the whole computer around any way I went ahead with the format and OS install. It worked!!! This is obviously not the best solution to the problem. Mainly because I never discovered the problem and am unable to share the info with others that seem to have the same problem. I however most conclued that it was either a bad registry, or something left over from an old version/install of DCS or something left behind from a driver. I now have gotten some playing time in 1.5 and it looks excellent and is running better than 1.2 ever did. Now I can start installing my modules bought from steam onto this build.
  14. I have been trying to solve this issue for over a day now, have tried may suggestions I have read on the forums without any successes. I will try to include all the steps I have taken and other relevant information. The game will load to the main start screen, but once I try to load a mission(training, quick, or campaign w/different aircraft) the new load screen appears and the progress bar stops. As soon as I click the mouse or a key the game crashes. I will try to detail the steps taken here. 1. Validated files with steam. 2. Removed moded files in both install and user directory 3. Deleted user directory 4. Validated files. 5. Uninstalled steam version and re-installed w/steam. 6. Uninstalled steam version and installed 1.5 from eagle dynamics site. 7. Updated Video card. 8. Updated Direct X 9. Updated Visual c++ 10. Ran repair DCSworld....exe 11. Posted this on fourm in hope of help. Thank you for any help. Update Over two days now and still have not solved the problem, I have gone as far now as finally upgrading to Windows 10. There is an update (a 1.5 update) that has failed and timed out about a dozen times now over the last few days, So I have not really had a chance to try the latest up to date 1.5 to see if the problem is fixed in the update. Anyway just brainstorming, could there be any old registry files/keys from and old build/install that are corrupt or obsolete that could be causing this problem? DxDiag.txt Logs.rar
  15. I can not find the repair exe, could you please be more specific as to where to find it? Thank you.
  16. Jfri I have the exact same issue. To confirm it definitly started happing after an update/patch a couple months back. Did i understand correctly that you solved this issue by simply unchecking synchronize cockpit controls option?
  17. I was unaware of the activation / reactivation cost. I am glad I read this thread considering that I am planing on a CPU and GPU upgrade. I also want to switch from steam to the stand alone client, will the switch of clients cost me activation points?
  18. Thanks Hrothgar.
  19. Fish eye Is it possible to eliminate the fish eye without changing the FOV angle?
  20. Sig test This is only a test. Hello DCS forum.
  21. Hello First I would like to say thank you to everyone for all the great information I have read the past few months. You all have helped to greatly improved my DCS experience.
