  1. Nice work Hadwell! Thanks for the inspirational vid :gun_smilie:
  2. Tried all the cmd line stuff relevant, including the repair function. Yup, as I mentioned in my earlier post, it was the custom input for the module.
  3. I didn't reformat, I just reinstalled DCS. Im an advanced user (software dev), i've also been flying DCS sims since 09. I just wouldnt have thought it would be tied to the input folder, and when i'm not working I switch logic off and grab a beer. First time i've had the issue though. Glad it's an easy fix.
  4. I'm just about to start my 3rd sortie. The campaign is very high quality and great fun. The attention to detail is superb, from the AI scripting to the wind settings, everything seems just perfect to me. As for the 3 activation limit, don't worry too much about that. I've been flying my Black Shark since 2009 and ED has reset my Black Shark activation for me with no fuss at all. As for the price. I can't even imagine how many hours it takes to create a mission (like the awesome server missions out there), let alone a campaign. My personal way of justifying cost for my entertainment is $1.00 an hour. Everything under the Eagle Dynamics flag more than meets that criteria for me. I'm sure this campaign will be a good 40+ hours of entertainment for me. The one thing I hope to see in the future would be a multiplayer version of the campaigns. Just make the wingman a client?
  5. Thanks for the tip AtaliaA1! I really appreciate it. I did find out what was causing the odd behavior, and it's exactly what you told me. I wish I saw your post before I did a full re-installation. Just wanted to stop back in case it helps someone out in the future. Symptoms: When engines and systems are unresponsive. External and internal model out of sync. I.E. When you close the cockpit canopy or door and see it close from the cockpit but when in the external view the cockpit canopy or door remains open. Go in to your saved games folder and delete your custom input settings for the aircraft that is acting all whacky. Path: C:\Users\<User>\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input How did I find this out? I did a complete re-install of DCS World and all of my modules. Everything worked fine. I imported my saved input files and the aircraft were broken again. Deleted my saved input files and rebound my controller and everything is fine again. Cheers!
  6. I was just flying the bird before I exited to grab the patch, went back in to continue flying and the SU-27 is completely broken. Instruments all unresponsive, the plane is already started at the ramp (when it shouldn't be), I cant turn the engines or electrical off, I go full afterburner while parked and it just sits there. Tried verifying / repairing, tried everything except re-install FC3. No mods installed. **Edit** All FC3 Modules are broke on ramp starts only. Just a report. I will take my questions to the appropriate sub forum.
  7. Happy to share. Read through the table on the next page. It makes sense after a while, haha. Between pages 48 and 49, it gave me a good base understanding to put it in to practice and start to get a feel for it. Understanding it and seeing the math is great and all, but getting a feel for it through pulling the trigger is ultimately the way to go. I have been practicing it using the medium and hard target practice missions.
  8. I wanted to learn about the fixed net myself. I found my answers here, in the original Mig-21 Manual. It's in English... http://www.scribd.com/doc/91674164/MiG-21-US-UM-Flight-Manual-Weight-Balance-Manual - Page 48.
