  1. LNS was closer to breaking the internet with this announcement thank Kim Kardasian could ever be....... But serious, TAKE MAH MONEY NAO!!!!
  2. Hmm that could work. I dont know how quickly your SA goes to crap in the back seat but hey. I can always find my goose out there ;) And if i recall, the 29 is the king of wvr turny fights. The whole point is having a plane (the f14 that can compete with the others in bvr, and still hold its own in wvr should worst come to worse. Mostly from being burned in the 21 that cant do the bvr game nearly as well, and the wvr side of the house still gets eaten. But its too damn pretty not to fly. And doesnt the f14 have better acceleration and climb than the f18, and su27/33? I know its heavy but id imagine slick with a few pointy sticks and with lower fuel that beast can move.
  3. Should be more then a match for everything with the expection of the f15, and possibly the su27. But even those should be able to be handled. Interesting to see the modeling of the aim 54s. But i think itll be tricky to get the rio aspect right. To my understanding with the exception of wvr, the pilot cant lock targets, only launch....hmmmmm Then there is the a2g aspect which i have no idea what that entails.
  4. Hmmm SOLD, TAKE MY MONEY!!!! Seriously though, cant beat customer service like that.... Oh and the plane, I guess,...she uh, you know....alright >.>.... Ok who am I kidding I WANT IT. Thanks CN
  5. If it is to be a F14, especially up to LN standards, I cant throw money at it fast enough....Mig 21 is so stunning I can barely keep my hands off her....2 seats, transitional wings, supersonic, Western avionics....humminah humminah POW!
  6. I will start off by apologizing as this will most likely sound ignorant and u grateful, but im trying to further understand this module, and probably this aircraft in generaI suppose. Now I currently own every single module released, as well as the ones for sale that havent been yet, and usually it is a case of "can it fly? Then ill buy." Generally i have a specific interest in the craft, its capabilities, and the systems. This has been almost with exception until the HAWK. I liked the idea of a trainer, albeit one i hadnt heard of, simply because, hey it fills a niche, it looks fun, and it doubles as a light attack. While I havent had the chance to fly her yet due to work obligations, im sure itll be a treat. But then i notice this little honey, and for the first time I find myself hesitant to purchase. I have tried to google this aircraft and compare it to the hawk, but much to no avail. It looks similar, fills pretty much the same role, and likely has the simplistic systems of a trainer. This is the speculation from my untrained eye and lack of knowledge. My fear is that I will get her and shell be a hangar queen simply because there wont be much new about here compared to her english cousin. My questions are 1) is the handling and flight parameters different enough to feel or notice? 2) any systems unique to this bird (or just modeled in different ways from previous aircraft. 3) what makes her special (dumb I know but usually theres at least one thing in every plane). If someone could please enlighten me I would be most grateful, and likely $xx.xx poorer :) Thanks CN
  7. I most certainly will check you guys out. Thank you <S>
  8. First let me apologize if I missed the thread for these somewhere and feel free to move it. Second, Id like to introduce myself to a community id like to become much more involved in. I fly by the callsign "Covernow" (formerly Condor). Ive flown in dcs since around LOMAC, just never online. Always too intimidated, but after this last year of practice Ill give it a try when i return to the states. I own all the dcs modules, and will likely purchase anything these guys put out. I spend most of my time in the a10c or the mig 21. I have some level of familiarity in everything but those are the two I know best. As far as my previous sim experience, i flew in AH2 for about 7 years. Other then that, ive flown the il2 series, fsx, and alot of the arcade style ones. I just love flight in all aspects. Personal side of the house, im a college student (prelaw and sociology), as well as taking flight training on the side. Ive also spent the last 7 years in the army reserves and am currently deployed (just mailed my setup home so ill be outta the game a while.) Anyway, sorry for the long read. If I havent lost your attention by now, feel free to drop me a line. Im certainly looking for a squadron out here, and/or a few good guys to fly with Best regards, CN
