I just did the campaign on the P-51 at the 2nd or 3rd mission we have to take off with a crosswind. I taxi and try to find the wind sock to know where the wind was from, well there is none. I've check for some kind of smoke, none. I decide to try my luck and I crash and again. I read the wind direction on the briefing to apply the x-wind take off procedure with aileron into the wind...Again crash and crash:mad::mad::mad: Frustrated and pissed of with an attitude. High from my 14K+ flying hours with a big ego, I didn't understand what was my problem. I decided to do a test and do the x-wind procedure inverted or the exact opposite if you prefer. Bingo. The wind in DCS are given wrong. They are given in the direction that they are moving not in the direction the are coming. In other words when the tower give you wind are 180 at 10 kts they are suppose to come from the south at 10 kts o7

Same things with the Saber but black. I mean pitch black like part of the monitor off black.

I would give my left nut to be able to do a carrier landing with a hellcat. :D

That was money well spend, the hardware, the customer services, everything with The crosswind is solid. Do yourself that favor I am sure you deserve it

That's what I was trying at the beginning but it doesn't work. I tried again for a good 2 hrs today but I gave up and I did take your suggestion and map it on my nipple mouse instead. It's not perfect but at least it on my throtlle. Thanks

That's the one I am talking about. So far I tried to map it directly on the Options- Controls under zoom in slow and zoom out slow but it doesn't recognize it or there is something that i don't understand. I did try to map it on the madcatz software but it seem to create all kind on conflict with the game, That should be a easy procedure like it was for my other sim's but nope what ever I try it does'nt work. Why is the picture don't show?

I have a r9 295x2 and I run DCS at 4K (3840x2160) I average 25 FPS with medium graphic settings with DCS while all my other sim are at High or max and 60+ FPS. I am looking forward for EDGE to be able to dogfight because of low FPS. I am not sure your card will do better :(

It doesn't need to be fully crew-able, so one human pilot could go with full AI crew. I of course can't grab all the cost involve. But one thing for sure, because of the nature of bombers plane and their missions, it will drag more people on board DCS and in time would fly fighter also. Will the cost be offset by more people coming in, I don't know for sure. What I know is that 1 guys out of 2 that I know who sim, will buy a B17, some will even buy 2 or 3 and give as gift to there friends. Athuro wanna be my friend LOL.

I am not very savvy into that field, What I did is reviewed the X55 requirement and I need 2x USB 2.0 ports so they say. I just disconnected them from the 3.0 and connected them on the 2.0 instead Happy New Year to all :)

I Did try that and it doesn't work, or I don't understand how to make work. Just to make sure I am talking about the rotary knob on the top of the thrust lever that I use with my left tumb If suck if I can't mapped in into That rotary since in all other sim's that's where it works :( Are we talking about the same rotary switch?
