The next one who writes before thinking :doh: What do you want to reach with "remember LS code". I can still tell you the code: 1534 and it's dayyys ago. But this knowledge doesn't bring me any further as long as the mission builder has led the aircraft on 1688.

Do you mean the anti collision light? (Has to be on before startup until after shutdown)

The runway headings in the mission editor are wrong (because they are showing the true course). Runway headings are always magnetic. So here the correct values (maybe for the next update: Groom lake: 32 - 324° Creech: 08 - 080° / 13 - 133° Nellis: 21L - 208° McCarran: 25L/R - 257° We need these values for the inflight F10 map as well. They are "useless" on the mission editor map.

What is L2P? Ok then show me how you hit your target with a "guided" GBU-12 if your LS code is set to 1688 and the JTAC lases with 1534

L2P? Could you stop using codes? If there is a mission with a JTAC and a M-2000 with different LS codes - what could I do? Nothing! So it's a problem and it needs a fix. You young guys should start to listening and stop discussing

Doesn't matter. This is a problem which makes the GBU part useless and it has to get fixed. Somehow. If my boss says "Fly these people to this destination" I can not say "No, almost nobody wants to go to there". This is not a discussion thread. I reported a problem with the product and that's it. We can't count on the mission builders. Every third mission I am unable to refuel with my M-2000 because there is only a KC-135 which is only useable for A-10c. So we have to found another solution, independend of mission builders. I'm pilot but not for tankers - can they add and remove the adapter in flight?

My idea: If an aircraft requests to refuel, the KC-135 checks the kind of aircraft and f.e. if it's a M-2000 the boom has the basket adapter and if it's an A-10C the boom doesn't have the adapter.

Because DCS has enough other problems pending for years without a fix like wind, atc, .... so it seems they are busy enough. So it seems to be easier or faster for RAZBAM to remove this problem.

Go on servers and you'll see there are sometimes M-2000 but only a KC-135 tanker. And DCS will become a realistic simulator one day and KC-135 have basket adapters in RL.

And then? Then I know the code... great in an A-10C but useless in a M-2000

Now some guy begins to talk about ILS :huh: This thread is not for discussion, it's for a problem: I flew on a server, the JTAC lasered targets for every unit (maybe per script IDK I'm pilot and not a software specialist) and he gave me a LS code and I was unable to set this LS code. And whatever you guys say - that is a problem. To fix it there are two ways: Force the JTAC to my LS code (DCS work) or set my GBU to JTAC LS code (RAZBAM's work). And to implement the opportunity to set the LS code to the JTAC laser is faster. So I've found a problem and brought a solution. No further discussion. And for the guy who said "It's the mission builder's work" : yeah that solves my problem sarcasm out. It the mission builder's work to write the tanker tacan in the briefing and do you see it on every mission? Some builder put even a M-2000 in a mission but only a KC-135 tanker

To become a flight simulator DCS have a long way in front of it. But in the case of the Mirage we have a useless GBU-12. For example yesterday in the mission the LS code was 1534 and I had to land without dropping my bombs. So guys now try to think further than from 12 o'clock to noon: What is more realistic? To match LC codes inflight or unable to use your GBU-12? :thumbup: I give you a hind: In real combat a M-2000 doesn't land, because it's LS code doesn't match with the JTAC one

How it will work is not important for me. I want it to work ASAP. And if I check in to the JTAC with my LS code and he lases with this code - for me it will be fine. But to change the M-2000 is faster than to change the JTAC. Because changing JTAC is part of DCS and that costs more time than to change this little thing in the M-2000 for RAZBAM ;) And I can't put more things into the DCS wishlist, there are too many problems pending under my name, for example the inverted wind and the wrong, useless ATC messages :D

Guys.... is this the real aviation thread? No it isn't. This is the M-2000 sim thread. So it's completely irrelevant, whether it's possible in real life or not. DCS is not real aviation, so we have to make compromises. And in the DCS world it works that way: A mission builder creates targets, puts a JTAC on them and creates some player controlled units. And to use the GBU-12 we need to be able to set the LS code to the JTAC LS code. Regardless how it works in real life. At the moment we have an almost useless GBU-12 on MP servers.

Sorry, I meant editable in flight. In the ME is completely useless because if the mission uses JTAC and it says it lases with 1534 (STP Server for example) I can't use it. So when will it be editable in flight and how? So we can use the GBU-12 on the servers.

When will the LS code be editable in flight and how? As in the Tiger via kneeboard?

What means WiP? Ok great. Good you guys fixed the emergency horizon bug (Emergency horizon cages when setting QNH) :thumbup: But DCS 2 is still freezing when turning on the radar.

What does it show? It doesn't show QNE nor it changes with the QNH setting. Bug?

It slings in approach as well from left to right around the localitzer. The AP needs a big fix.
