a few weeks ago i had to pack away all my stuff for flightsimming (throttle, joystick, trackir etc.) beacuse my wife didn't like it and said i spent to much time on my computer.... if there comes a ch-53 for dcs i will pack her away 100 % sure

after buying it and chrashing it a few 100 times i have to admit you really rock this thing great control :thumbup:

when i watch these videos i really wanna know isnt it possbile to bring the helicopter in a hover turn the auto hover on (does gazelle have this feature?) and then shoot ? it really looks not that fun to do both at the same time (shooting and flying)

@steph ich flieg nicht mit der Maus aber das das zoomen mit trackIR muss ich gestehen nervt mich ein bisschen. Mein Joystick hat leider nur einen Slider und den brauch ich für meinen Throttle :-) @rakuzard genau das. Ich wusste nicht mal das man mit Alt-C die Maus ausblendet und das der Zoom dann funktioniert. :doh: Aber gibt es auch eine Möglichkeit zu zoomen ohne die Maus auszublenden ?

Hallo, ich bräuchte Hilfe bei meiner Zoom Einstellung. Mein Zoom in der Außenansicht ist auf mein Mausrad gebindet sprich Mausachse Z. Genau die selbe Einstellung hätte ich gerne auch im Cockpit. In den Einstellungen/Achsenbefehlen kann ich aber für meinen Zoom meine Mausachse Z nicht auswählen auch wenn ich die bisherige Belegung der Z-Achse lösche. Nach diesen Einstellungen könnte ich meinen Zoom nur auf das Keyboard oder TrackIR legen. the whole community is based on everything that has to do with combat, military, whatever and look how big the yelling, crying and arguing is already about new modules, upcoming modules, models that are already released and all the other stuff now you want to throw all the civ. aviation fans (that are unarguably more than us) into this ?? why can't you fly your PMDG 777 in FSX ? 99,9 % of the flight its flown by AP like all other airliners.... the systems are modelled like in the real thing even in fsx

maybe they have access to a real gazelle and have a lot of documentation for it or they know a lot of people that have flown this thing to achieve the best results in terms of "as real as it gets" because that is why the most people decide to go for dcs

a bit offtopic but is there a good joystick/hotas somebody can recommend at the moment ? with which setup you guys are testing the gazelle right now ?

i understand and agree a lot with your thoughts :smartass: and there is no doubt that the models of LN are top notch no mather if i am personally intrested in them or not. i still think that there are more people buying and want to learn about an aircraft that they know actually and see in the real world. (like i said before thats my own opinion) and just to clear that out !! i don't want a "super-duper" laser/facer fancy f-22 raptor or something like that and go for a arcade fight in a multiplayer :lol: i know that licensing and access to the real plane is a big issue here... but i still don't want to lose my hope that there is an aircraft coming (eventually) that i really want to study in :smilewink:

i really hope not that there comes a viggen !!! i mean who really wants this type of aircraft except the 8-10 people in this forum. Its outclassed by all modern fighters, its ugly as hell and it doesn't match in the new dcs theater. Saying that i don't understand a lot of choices from the 3rd party developers.... Why not give us a "leatherneck-level" f-16, f-18, su-24, eurofighter (even a b1-lancer) and so on and so on just stuff that we can see every day in the modern warzones i think there lies much more money and interest in these type of aircraft (by the greater silent mass) than developing aircraft for special nishes this i my OWN opinion!!! of course i can be wrong and there a more people interested in viggens and meteors.....
