Someone said usb touchscreens lagg, like in bad fps. I'm going to use helios software for CDU buttons and then I have a CDU touch screen without having to use the CDU in the Sim. It's a pain using the CDU with trackir in this sim, it bounces all over the place. Anyways, doesn't problematic sort of mean rubbish? Problematic in what way?

Do you know where I can get some small screens that use Hdmi? I've looked all over here in the UK, but I can't seem to find any.

Does this work with Usb touch screens? I just returned my hdmi touch screen because it's to big and just want to use smaller usb touch screens for my Cougar MFCD's. I'd just like to know if this program works with Usb touch screens before I order them. Also, does anyone have any links to some good MFCD touch screens? Ones I can use with my Cougar MFCD's? Thanks!

I've been looking for a touch screen to use as a CDU for the A10C. The problem is the smaller touch screens all appear to be connected using a USB and I've heard they aren't that good. I also want this to work with the program Ultra MFCD and I'm not sure it the Usb ones work with this program. Does anyone know where I can get small touch screens from? Preferably, ones that don't use usb if usb ones are rubbish.

They said it's going to be an Alpha. As for the release date, they haven't given one, but have said: "We are nearing a point where DCS World 2 will be available for a public, alpha release." I must admit, when I saw this news letter February, I thought this meant Edge was weeks away and no-longer months.

Nothing wrong with believing that NTTR map will come with EDGE. I won't disappointed if it doesn't, so there's no harm in thinking it.

I presumed the NTTR map will come with DCS World 2, and I'll be paying if that is the case.

I like to fly one of each. A10C, Heuy, Spitfire and F-18 when they arrive. I also want the Hawk when it's completed because it's a good trainer.

That actually sounds like it's imminent, but a month has passed since that newsletter. Come April, 14th, I'll be debating whether or not to get GTA5, or wait until the end of April and see if Edge arrives. I cant afford both in the same month, but I think Edge would just Edge it for me if it came first :) I was hoping we would get a March news letter, but there's only two days left to go. Hopefully, one arrives in the next couple of days that might shed some light on a release date.

Can someone tell me when we can expect to see this Spitfire released? I've looked through the thread, but I haven't seen anything to indicate a date. I'm just wondering how far on they are with it really.

How would you go about doing this? This is probably the easiest way so far, but I haven't got a clue how to do it. Thanks!

Can you give me some instructions on how to do this, because I'm not entirely sure what you mean? I'm sure it's easy to do once you've done this before, but I don't have a clue what you mean at present or how to do what you say. Thanks!

Will this work even though I will be plugging my joysticks into a new usb port on a new motherboard? I thought with it been a new computer build that my joysticks would be recognized as using a different Usb and that I'd have to do all the settings again. Thanks!

Sorry my bad, I had the Sim in full screen mode instead of window mode. Works great again now. I'll try and delete my previous thread.

I'm about to purchase a new computer, but I don't want the hassle of having to redo all my settings for my controllers. Can someone please tell me if there's away around this, so that I don't have to spend ages doing all my settings again. Thanks!

@joey - Are you saying the weather affects what runway you fly from even though you select one? Could you be a bit more specific. Thanks! @BIGNEWY - The track file won't show you which runway I'm selecting, so I'n unsure what a track file would achieve. Thanks!

Can someone tell me if this is a bug?. When I create a quick mission and click on the runway I want to fly from, as soon I start the Sim I'm on a totally different runway. The runway I most like to start from from is Batumi, but for some reason it doesn't always start me there. I'd say I only spawn their 5 out 10 times after choosing Batumi.

Yes, I bet Edge looks much better in DK2. I just can't wait to get Edge and CV1 though.

I'm flying using an Oculus, DK2, at the moment, so scenery isn't such a big issue for me. I have things setup at night in the Sim, so I can barley see around me as it is. This help with immersion though because of the poor resolution in DK2. Once I'm those mountains ranges, it just feels like I'm flying the real thing.

I'm still playing it, but some of my buddies are waiting on the Edge map now. It's not as fun for me playing it on my own, but atleast it's allowed me to study a few more things about the A10C, instead of just flying missions. I hope Edge is released by June, even if it's just to get my buddies back playing it :) I also look forward to lots more people joining in once Edge is released. I'm sure it will bring in lots of new players, aswell as the ones who are just waiting on Edge now.

I fixed it. Turns out it didn't like my my Microsoft Sidewinder plugged in at the same time. Even though I cleared all Sidewinder profiles out of the A10C settings in-game. I have just disabled the Sidewinder using a program called USB Deview.

I checked and it isn't doubled assigned. I also tried to see if it would work using the Beta exe to start the Sim, but it's the same in beta mode. Not sure what you mean by seeing if default views are still mapped? I use Track IR so I cleared some views and it has never caused me a problem. But I'm not sure what you mean by this? So this isn't a bug it's just my game?
