Heling

Heute habe ich das alles nochmals geübt. Das GPS-Bomben nur die Linie zeigen hatte ich noch nicht auf dem Schirm. Jetzt gelangen mir einige gute Treffer und ich bin wieder, dank euch, ein wenig schlauer. Mit 72 saugt man sich nicht mehr ganz so schnell die Dinge aus den Medien. Zugleich habe ich mich mit den Tracks beschäftigt - mit merkwürdigen Effekten. In einem Track von mir fliege ich nur nutzlos an den Zielen vorbei, die ich aber real sicher bekämpft hatte. Auch hier habe ich was zu lernen... Danke!

Ich weiß, dass der Fehler bei mir liegt... Hatte die Tutorials von Fire und Grim Reapers zum Abwurf angesehen und keiner ging auf GPS ein. Immer waren die Rectikles zu sehen. Man lernt nie aus, bin auch nicht mehr der Jüngste. @ex81 Ich habe leider noch nicht mit Tracks gearbeitet und werde mich belesen. @maikchaos: ich werde das so machen und berichten.

Okay, Hier das Video dazu. Ab 17:10 ein CCRP-Einsatz der völlig okay ist. Der darauffolgende Abwurf zeigt schon das Problem. Gleiche Herangehensweise, Ziel erfasst, SPI gesetzt, Bombenprofil mit CCRP, doch es gibt nur die senkgerechte Linie. Bei der A10C II habe ich oft keinen Zielkreis beim Bombenwerfen mit CCIP oder CCRP, auch nicht bei starkem Dive. Oft ist nur eine Linie ohne Funktion zu sehen. Manchmal ist alles perfekt. Wo liegt mein Fehler?

The HMCD is very shaky when using the Quest 3, making it difficult to set a good marker point. A feature that makes movement smoother and more stable would be a real improvement for the A10C II.

The A10C II isn't selectable in the mission editor. The A10A is only listed. Is there an additional button for modern aircraft? Everything's fine in the quick mission editor. But I'd like to build something bigger.

Na ja, wenn ich so in die Entwicklerliste schaue, dann sind das alles Personen, die vielleicht noch nie in DL waren. Dann das Feeling dafür zu bekommen, ist nicht einfach. Sie haben sicher für die zigtausend Dörfchen einen Generator benutzt, der zuvor mit Eigenheiten Deutschlands gefüttert werden will. Da herrscht alleine von Style her ein Unterschied von Norden nach Süden. Wir nehmen das nur noch unbewusst wahr, aber lieben es, im Urlaub mal "andere" Kulissen zu sehen. Persönlich finde ich hier im Rhein-Main-Gebiet viel zu viel Wald, der auch noch bis an jede Straße reicht. Autobahnen sind da meist schwer wiederzuerkennen, oder gar zu finden. Eigentlich sind hier im Taunus auch viel mehr landwirtschaftliche Flächen zu sehen. Dass ich mein A-10C II Cockpit nicht nutzen kann, weil das Muster auf der Landkarte und im Missionseditor nicht zu finden ist, ist ein weiteres Problem. Es gab in Google maps mal die Möglichkeit, eigene Gebäude mit Scetch zu erstellen und in die lokale map einzubauen. So eine Funktion würde tausende dazu animieren eine Karte mitzugestalten.

Ich habe die Frankfurter Gegend abgeflogen, konnte dabei mein A10C II Cockpit nicht einsetzen, da dieser Typ nicht dabei ist :((( und fand auch chaotisch gestaltete Landschaft vor. Ja der Flughafen entspricht etwa den 80ern, aber die riesige Airbase der Amerikaner am südlichen Rand konnte ich nicht sehen. Es gibt im Taunus einige wenige Dörfer zu sehen, aber es stehen oft nur 20 von 150 Häusern, die Straßen entsprechen keiner Landkarte. Ich weiß nicht...

Ich habe die Karte gekauft und muss nun feststellen, dass sie für mein Real Cockpit A10C II nicht nutzbar ist. Dieses Muster ist im Missionseditor nicht drin. Nur die A10A. Man kann zwar auf "modern" switchen, bringts aber nicht. Wahrscheinlich habe ich den kleinen Hinweis irgendwo übersehen... ärgerlich! Cu

Hi, I wanted to fly through all the BTFs again to eliminate any mistakes and misunderstandings. In BTF 6, the final part is a landing on the old X airfield after an engine failure. But just before touchdown, the A10 rears up uncontrollably. All control inputs are not sufficient. Even a higher approach speed does not help. When the plane then crashes, the IP says: "You damaged the aircraft". Failed Is ejection mandatory here?

In videos of the original A10C I can see that they can easily reach speeds of more than 400 knots in horizontal flight. My A10C II never manages that in DCS, regardless of whether it is fully armed or completely empty. Only about 75% of that is possible. What is wrong with the aircraft physic model? Is the power of the engines too low, or is the air resistance of the machine too high? The latter could be a possibility, since even in a dive the speed does not increase excessively. I have never even come close to reaching the pointer with the maximum speed. I always have the impression that I am flying around with the airbrakes half extended. Could someone from DCS take a look at this? Thanks

Can't install. I've python 3.11.0. In windows terminal I got the error "pip not found". In python terminal "install is invalid syntax". What can I do?

I tried a USB port expansion card in the PC and quickly removed it again. The more ports WIN had to manage, the worse they worked. Lags and diconnections increased dramatically. So I have now combined several Arduinos into one port via RS484. That was very helpful!

I know. I was one of them with freezing DCSbiosBridge. The problem was not the Software, it's the combination of lot ports, laggy Bodnar boards and bad port handling inside Windows. Since I upgraded to WIN11 and max. 15 USB-ports, the bridge is working fine for me. I also updated the Bodnar bords with new firmware. Now I've to work on the RS485 net.

I hope that is the end of my suffering. Although I use a very good PC, the reliability decreases with the increasing number of connected USB ports. One USB port after another stops working during a session. I have now switched 4 out of 15 to RS485. This also brought greater stability to the USB ports too! I use the DCSbiosBridge from Charliefoxtwo, which works great under WIN11 and not only connects the COM ports, but also resets them and can display the data traffic. Helpful when looking for interference, such as volatile potentiometers. Yes, the radio displays react very slowly via RS485. I will incorporate the help mentioned above into the code and sincerely hope that the disconnection problems will come to an end.

Hi, ist es möglich, außer den G-Load-Werten des Accelerometers, auch die Werte für horizontale (Beschleunigungs-) Kräfte aufzulesen? Betrifft die A10CII. Bräuchte diese Werte für ein Motion-Feedback.

I don't remember how many years after every update I had to remove the MFCD views from the Alt-F1. It's time, dear DCS developers, to reduce all this work to one button in the options. At the moment I can't get these annoying ads out of my field of vision. I waste hour after hour. Something could finally be done, especially for SimPit owners!
