Anyway, it was not a "Gunso" mission alert, if someone starts to chase a F-15 with 3 fuel tanks, in a MiG-29 far in the enemy territory, then this is a bad idea. Even when I have to kill a empty MiG, I kill the enemy. I was alone against 20+ bandits for at least over one houre, and the question should be why it took that long to catch one BLUE fighter, with so many RED's?! The 104th flyt got lost by connection failure, and if I would had Mustang and Crunch with me, then I guess couple more RED would not comeing home, but that is a other story. For the gunso, I`am not flyeing every day on a gunso only map, for me it is enough to survive a surprised merge, thats it. There are alot gunso pro's out in the lockon community, and I`am not one of them. cheers

how many of those tandem seating SU-33 are around?

Its kinda funny, u get SU-30MKI's and u have only couple faulty R-77's, where I guess the advantage of the plane is smashed with it because the are not working correctly and the have to fly with semi-actives only if needed. I guess most stuff outthere looks only on the paper good.

I would say, in the 80`s, the Flanker's are been a danger. But now the F-16 or F-15 beat those handful upgraded "Flanker's" with just the technology, what we see in the current US or MLU NATO planes. And when it comes to the point where the pilot makes the diffrents, between the win or loss, then I would say NATO or US pilots with the fact that the have much more training and flyt houre's.

lol, u think the russian SU-33 pilots have the same amount of houre's like the US NAVY pilots in there hornets have...? ;) And if this are pilots error's they would be checked it dosent matter wich airforce.

lol, one SU-33 makes almost crash on landing (cobra style 1m above deck), the other fullburn brakes on hehehe, I guess in any other airforce they would be grounded in anyway.
