  1. ^ which airframes are you in? If its non FC3 that is all DCS provides from the aircraft natively and a DCS bug (if the radio should do this) If its FC3 there are hotkeys for 0.001, 0.01 etc - check controls For now I just do volume - for certain the volume goes down at distance as the circuit tries to clean the noise, but noise needs to be added too and it will in time, no worries :) There is already a high and low pass filter on the 16KHz audio so the high frequencies get cut. Please make sure that Radio effects are ON for this to work. Check at the bottom of settings. It can be toggled at any time so you can hear the difference between both. If it needs more - please send a recording so I can adjust appropriately. Please report more details than this - did the user press "Allow more input devices" if so that'll be why and there is a warning box telling you this might happen :P Make sure its OFF and restart SRS - all should be detected then For the person with interference in HOTAS - no idea how that could happen as I just poll to see what the state of buttons is. Please post logs or I can't help you or anyone else. Happy for feedback but need more concrete info or I can't diagnose. I can also give help on Discord here - https://discord.gg/Hb7rYey
  2. Have you successfully forwarded anything else? If you can connect to your local SRS using 127.0.0.1 then unfortunately it's a networking problem with router or ISP. If you're behind a double nat, as I am, you just can't forward as far as I know :( Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  3. Updated scripts are running on BlueFlag Make sure to destroy any statics in the bases to aid with capture - this excludes TV towers Please report any bugs (other than invisible units) A change was also made where DCS reported a unit as dead, but it wasnt quite there yet. This should be fixed as well so any captures should have no damaged units left Edit: looks like Red might be in the way to victory....
  4. Sounds like a bug! I'll try to sort on the weekend :) Thanks for reporting! Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  5. Looks like this seems to have solved it for BlueFlag: We turned off the disperse under fire option like so: local _group = Group.getByName("someGroup") local _controller = _group:getController() Controller.setOption(_controller, AI.Option.Ground.id.DISPERSE_ON_ATTACK, false)
  6. I'd watch the video linked on the first page. Explains the process, it should be very quick to install :) This program is completely separate and unrelated to teamspeak. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  7. You'll get some distortion as you're mixing two low quality 16k streams together that have also been filtered but you should be able to hear what they're saying. Also depends on which ear you've got it set going too. Pm me a recording and I'll let you know it's its right or a bug. Also depends on connection and everyone else's connections that you're recieving. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  8. For the harriers, thats the idea, you need to move to the farp to rearm. Unfortunately there is no other way to do it at a roadbase as the harrier doesn't have the same system as the viggen. Fixed the radio frequencies last night so they should be fine now. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  9. This ^ 1000x :) Plus, we put the number of registered users on the website for a reason. It's up to YOU to decide to which team to join. If it's stacked and obviously unfair, try a new airframe and join the other side. It's not fun to fly against no enemies. Who cares if you lose, the important thing is it should be fun :) Pm xcom or myself if you want to switch. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  10. Server Updated Please make sure to update 2.5 before joining the server to the latest hotfix out today
  11. Great news! Fixed in latest hotfix from ED :) Amazingly quick turn around. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  12. Reproduced and reported to ED :) Thanks for the report! Fingers crossed for a fix soon. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  13. Try a normal keyboard button (or mouse button) like space bar or a letter, instead of scroll lock. It may be the keyboard emulation on your joystick that's confusing it. Can you also try binding it as a normal Joystick instead of keyboard emulated key? For both - Make sure to first try complete uninstall without DCS running. Open up the latest installer & hit uninstall Then go to Saved Games folder. Backup & Delete scripts folder in saved games/DCS, saved games/DCS.openalpha and saved games/DCS.openbeta Then reinstall SRS using the installer - hit install and leave everything default. wumas0201 - Make sure your .net is up-to-date and you're not running MSI Afterburner, it can conflict. Also check windows logs to find out what the issue is as there should be an error listed. Other thing to install is the DirectX 9 Redistributable - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Get me on discord for more help as its easier than on forums :) https://discord.gg/Hb7rYey
  14. As I said in previous update, unfortunately away from yesterday afternoon, so please be patient for updates :) Please keep bug reports coming Inconveniently timed holiday :D Team will try to make changes remotely :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  15. I made this for modules : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tzd996zJ1t0heZ-t1PpL7vNUIZbXl7pI6De0GThN1Qw/edit?usp=drivesdk Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  16. Sorry away so replies short :) What aircraft are you in? Are you using anything like Voice Attack? Have you tried another ptt, like a normal button on keyboard as a test? Yes already works with harrier, just make sure easy Comms is OFF in DCS Left radio in cockpit is comm2 in mission editor and will only work with presets set in mission editor :) No alterations, Everything works including the Native DCS overlay :) Glad it was easy! That's was the goal along :) Thanks all for the great feedback :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  17. Should be back shortly. Updated mission is now running! As general advice, i'd load into single player and mess around in the editor before joining the server. From a fresh update, 2.5 needs to compile a lot of shaders which will take 5-10 minutes depending on hardware. You can check progress in the DCS logs so you can see that it's not crashed, it is actually beavering away building things
  18. As far as I can see thats fixed in 2.5 mission - all definitely set to ground start. Not going to make any changes to 1.5 mission before Wednesday. :) Regarding Manpads, we'll see how they are in 2.5 Mortars have to be very close before they engage - 1-1.5 NM or so. You'll know when they're ready as you'll see the tubes starting to turn. A few of us are away for Wednesday but in theory all is setup and ready to go for when the update goes live. Testing for 2.5 looks good but no way to really know until we have reasonable numbers on it. We'll do our best to get it up relatively soon but may be a day or so.
  19. New RELEASE Version - 1.4.6.0 .NET Version - PLEASE INSTALL THIS or it may not work: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=53345 Windows 8/10 N Users - PLEASE INSTALL THIS OR IT WILL NOT WORK - Adds the media codecs you need which are removed in the N Version - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3145500/media-feature-pack-list-for-windows-n-editions - You'll know when you get the audio initialisation error :) Small fix to allow mono output devices to be used. This fixes issues in particular with Razer headsets which have a mono "chat" output. This version is incompatible with all versions before 1.4.3.0 and ALL Clients and Servers must be on this version or newer. Highly recommended all clients and servers switch to this version. There is a bug with 1.4.3.0 Servers where radio transmissions cant be hard - this fixes that! :) SERVER OWNERS - You need to open an extra TCP port for SRS to work and its +1 above your normal server port. I.e if you run a server on 5002 you need to open port 5002 and 5003 for TCP AutoConnect Script must be in Saved GamesDCSScriptsHooks now instead of just Scripts folder. Just create a hooks folder in Scripts folder if you dont have one KNOWN BUG If you get lag while using the radio, press L Ctrl + L Shift + L to fix. This is a DCS bug i'm trying to work around and is triggered by pressing L Ctrl + L. It doesn't matter if that key is bound or not, it'll still cause lag when you press it Changelog Added Support for Mono Output Devices Overlay and Overlay Configuration The overlay has 3 states, hidden, small & full that you can see by pressing Left Control + Left Shift + Escape by default. The Full state has a title bar that you can click and drag the window around with. The window position will be saved for when DCS is next opened. The radio status is removed after 5 seconds if SRS is closed or loses server connection To configure the overlay hotkey, run DCS once to create a config file in Saved GamesDCSConfig which will look something like so and quit DCS: config = { ["mode"] = "minimum", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+escape", ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config Edit the "Hotkey" section and add the characters from the keyboard you'd like to use instead. i.e config = { ["mode"] = "minimum", ["hotkey"] = "Ctrl+Shift+1", -- now uses the combination of ctrl shift and 1 together to toggle ["windowPosition"] = { ["y"] = 342, ["x"] = 981, }, -- end of ["windowPosition"] } -- end of config Dont forget to restart DCS after editing this file or you wont see the changes. If you want to remove the overlay entirely and never use it, just delete: DCS-SRS-Overlay.dlg DCS-SRS-OverlayGameGUI.lua In Saved GamesDCSScripts Preset Channel Configuration Preset channels can be created for all FC3 aircraft and all expansion radios for Non FC3. Channel presets are created per Radio - full list of names & frequencies here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tzd996zJ1t0heZ-t1PpL7vNUIZbXl7pI6De0GThN1Qw/edit#gid=1869108790 ) Preset files are named after the radio (no special characters needed & case is ignored) and are text files with a single frequency on each line. For example, to create a fixed channel list for the first UHF radio in the F15C: Create a file called ANARC-164 UHF1.txt or anarc164 UHF1.txt where you installed SimpleRadio Standalone (where the client exe is), add frequencies and save. The file will be automatically loaded when that radio appears on an aircraft. The frequency list can also be manually reloaded with the reload button. The files are per radio not per aircraft. As always, thanks for the support and let me know if there are any issues! Dedicated support now available on Discord: https://discord.gg/baw7g3t DOWNLOAD THE LATEST RELEASE: https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone/releases/latest Video Demo & Installation
  20. Confusingly for the L39 - You have to use the ingame hotkey (or press the intercom switch) in order for the intercom to work. Its been a while since i've looked at it but it should all be ok. On the server you were on - try turning off Coalition Security and make sure spectator audio is enabled - let me know if it works then? Also worth turning on server exports as they now need to be on in order to extract player positions it seems.
  21. Yes. But you can just set them very high, so they don't limit you. It's a group size of 10 by default. Search for that text and just edit or remove it in the script :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  22. Server updated to Open Beta - 1.5.8.13716.422 Server running latest Open Beta - make sure to update to this version DCS Versions can be seen here: https://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/
  23. Your error looks like you didn't download the CTLD script right or add it to the mission correctly Make sure to actually download the lua file from GitHub for CTLD and not try copying it into a text file. Have a look at the CTLD sample mission, or just start with that as a base as it's all setup correctly to work :) Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  24. Change the ctld.numberOfTroops options to whatever you like or set limits per airframe in this part https://github.com/ciribob/DCS-CTLD/blob/master/CTLD.lua#L400 Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
  25. BF is being tested with 2.5, so far all looks goods but without high numbers it's hard to be sure On release day we already have a tweaked map and will switch to 2.5 as soon as its released Once you see 2.5 I don't think you'll be able to go back :) Good to know, will add some more then. Won't be carriers for a while as you can't limit loadouts currently from a carrier but more ships incoming. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk
