Sorry, been out of town for a few days.... Yep, with those versions you should be able to select 'player' in the SKILL dropdown...it should be highlighted yellow... Even though he hasn't updated them they should still work...but the corsair won't look like his screenshots...I believe the gear doors or the gear well interior texture is missing...haven't used the A-7 for a while. just checked...both mods you listed above working in 1.5.2 OB

hmm sounds weird...I have the FA-18C working in both 1.5.2 Open Beta and 2.0....the Corsair I just have installed in 1.5.2OB Never had to make any .lua changes for either one. my versions are FA-18_113_2.0 and FA-18_ISVA_1.5.1 (both work) and SLUFOCT112015 which version do you have?

No, It's been that way since 1.5OB... I switched over to the F-18C. I like the flight dynamics a lot better, but I wish it had an AoA indexer...

I want one too. Also, the stick and throttles for F-14 (see my post in the F-18 Warthog Compatible thread).... PLEASE! haha

hegykc, just wondering - with Leatherneck's F-14A/B supposedly coming out sometime in H2 2016, would there be any chance of the F-14 sticks/throttles being ready for release this year?

Make sure your flaps are down and air brake up...I aero-brake it nose high until it drops below 100....then drop the nose...use wheel brakes just a little at first...on and off a couple times...then pull back on the stick (to use the tailerons as air brakes) and use the wheel brakes a bit more. I had the same problem...its just practice

they are setup for jsgme so you just unzip into your _MODS folder, then use the tool to activate them.

that is absolutely not true....no throttle....stick had nothing to do with flight controls and RIO's pedals were ICS and MIC switch...

Flim, I saw that you might be doing something for the F-18C someday. Have you had any requests for the F-14 seat and pit? I would definitely be down for the tomcat setup. tks

Great missions! Got a couple more questions... 1. Is there an available/downloadable PLat cam overlay like the one VFA-113 uses on their replays? It's kinda hard to tell how far off you are without the 'cross' in the middle. 2. Is there a way to get a playback of your ball call in singleplayer 'watch track'? Or do you have to be on a MP server with TeamSpeak? 3. I think I have all my graphics settings on high, but I am getting this weird black shadow moving around on the water behind the ship in plat view...looks like it might be because the sea is calm. It starts around the ship that is off the stern and moves across to the right as the carrier rises and falls...How do I get rid of it?? Thanks!

Thanks! Went around the racetrack about 5 times before I dropped it in - managed to get aboard with a 3...but it was pretty messy. These missions are great - Thanks for all the work that went into them:thumbup: The meatball is just unbelievable. It seems like I am struggling with the trim on the A-7... always needing back pressure on the stick.

Thanks Gary.... I was looking in my root DCS folders for a 'Missions' folder and couldn't find it... I finally stumbled across it in Saved Games>DCS....feel like an idiot but hey, I won't have to ask again!!

JAR (or anybody), Can you tell me how to load the VFA-113vLSO missions? Not sure where to put those files and how to setup a mission where I can use the LSO and plat cam. I have CVN77 and A-7E installed and seemingly running okay. Pretty new to DCS (mods) so sorry for the dumb question. Thanks!

I'm new to DCS World but I have been following this thread closely. I using a TM Warthog and I just ordered some Crosswinds. Currently flying the F-15C, but the only reason I came to DCS was the upcoming F-14 (and F-18 ). Huge fan of Naval Aviation. I can't get over how well thought out your designs and plans are, and I'm dying to get my hands on these things! Thanks for doing this for us and I'm sure this will be real successful for you. Put me down for one of everything.
