Hi, I stopped playing DCS 5 years ago and now it's time to come back. I would like to upgrade my PC to play DCS in VR (QUEST 2). My current PC: i5 2500K, GTX 1080Ti, 32GB DDR3 RAM. DCS 2.7 runs pretty well on Full HD LCD (60FPS average) but I'm worried about gaming with Quest 2. My plan is to upgrade the CPU, MB and RAM. My budget is limited so I'm considering the following hardware. CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or i3 12100F RAM: 2x16 MB 3600 MHz DDR4 MB: CPU dependent. It's mainly about the CPU choice. The intel i3 is better in single thread but the ryzen has more cores and is overall more powerful. Is it enough for VR gaming or do I need more powerful hardware?

I have integrated AMD APU HD8650G (laptop). I know it's not the best hardware for DCS, but it's only a temporary solution. Before the upgrade to 1.5.6 I had no FPS drop with ABRIS NAV page. Now I play DCS 1.5.5 without any FPS drop.

I have to play with the lowest settings because of my hardware. I use native resolution 1600x900, MSAA 2x, Anisotropic filtering 2x, rest is off or low. The drop is bigger when there are more notes in ABRIS only on NAV page (e.g. areas of AAA). When I switch to other pages in ABRIS, FPS is normal. I play Georgian Oil War campaigns. With DCS 1.5.5 I had 35 to 50 FPS and now with 1.5.6 I have 10 to 18 (same graphic's settings).

After update to DCS 1.5.6. release there is a FPS drop only in Ka-50 cockpit only with ABRIS in NAV page. Now it's unplayable for me. I tried downgrade back to 1.5.5 and everything is OK. Is there any bug in ABRIS?

But when fires plane, every bullets impact 50 meters before target. When fires gunship, target is destroyed. Try out it in DCS.

Why AI aircraft (e.g. Su-25T only with gun pods) cannot exactly hit The ground vehicle with gun pods? Every time fires only around the target.:doh:
