Hi all, I hope that this isn't going to get people 'up in arms' but does anyone have a skin I could use to add the swastika to the tail of the plane? I am by no means a Nazi or affiliated in any way to right wing extremists etc etc, but I would love to see this (and the 109k) in its original shape form and look. ...Guy

Thx Art, I was just concerned as the Su27 was the only one that did this. It zoomed in so close that it was awful. you had no cockpit peripheral vision at all. If I had cleared all the default zoom options would my TIR still have worked though? ...Guy

The way I thought it was supposed to go was unpacking the zipped file into a file in my _MODS folder eg: c;\Program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\_MODS\More visibility\MoreVisibility V1.4\ and in that one the config and mission editor?

Hi all, I recently installed the Sweet fx mod and the More visibility mod. But I cant find any reference to them in the options screen? My Visib tab just has LOW MED and HIGH. I thought it went to Extreme with the mod? There is also no reference anywhere to the Sweet fx settings. I can almost hear people sighing at my incompetence but please be kind. I am using the JSGME installer and im pretty sure its setup correctly. When I unzip the file, I highlight the ... file and the one saying the Mod name below it and extract them to the _MOD file I put in my in my DCS world folder. Should I be opening these files and extracting their contents to the _MOD file? ...Guy

Hi All, after reading this and it not working I tried going into another folder (su-25T) and I copied the TrackIR.diff file into the su-27's trackir folder and Hey presto, IT WORKS!! I don't appear to have a clickable cockpit anymore but Im sure that's going to be something straightforward. But hey, Look at me moving files and sh1t LOL. OK Thanks for that , but it didn't work. It seemed to work perfectly with the Track IR disabled but as soon as I restarted TIR it did the same thing again. Soooo, it has to be TIR related and just with SU27! This is starting to annoy me now, ...Guy

Ive now tried everything. Ive reinstalled the whole thing, base game and all and its still doing it. Its like it does a 'Snap zoom' or some such thing. Does anyone have their joystick/keybinds for this bird that they could share maybe. ...Guy

Oh man, I went into the mods directory and removed the SU-27. I thought reinstalling would work. But now I cant seem to reinstall the mod. Steam says its n there but the PC and the game says no. What have I done? I knew I should leave these things alone =:-( ...Guy

Hi, and thank you. Still not working chums. My Track IR uses the same profile for all the planes I fly so it cant be that. I tried resetting and saving the cockpit views but it still starts up as normal, slowly zooms out to correct position then suddenly flashes into 'zoomed right in' I think the module may be bugged? ...Guy

Ive just tried shutting down Track ir and all is good (As was expected really). The thing that gets me is that all other games are working fine with the TIR working as it should. I would try reinstalling the module if I knew how. ...Guy

Hi All, I was playing my recently added SU-27 in free flight. As it started, the view slowly panned back (As per normal) and then suddenly snapped right in? I tried pushing the virtual seat back but its still way too close. Like im zoomed in with the track ir. All my other modules appear to run fine but not the SU-27. I also noticed that my joystick key bindings had disappeared. Would this be a case of reinstalling the module as I have no idea of how to do that. Game and Modules were brought from Steam. Hi all, I have 3 screens (Cheapo ACER 24") and I did absolutely nothing special to set them up and to me they look perfect. I have my resolution set to 5760x1080 and in the monitors tab, I have that set to 1 monitor! The 2 peripheral monitors are roughly 40 degs to the main monitor. This looks far superior to the 3 monitor option. Give it a go and use your R/Sht+R/Ctrl+/ to fine tune depending on how close or far back you sit. ...Guy

Hi all, This is a bit of a strange one. Im fairly new to DCS world and so far I find the game awesome. Perhaps my problem is actually coming onto the forum itself. Here goes. On coming on the forum I find lots of things that are available to make my DCS experience even better; with the addition of texture packs, missions etc etc. The thing is, Im a noob with computers and much as I really didn't want to use the term, there seems to be a bit of 'Elitist' attitude around. I would love to have a lot of these things on my version of DCS but as soon as people start going on about opening this and that and copying stuff here and there, Im lost. I think that most people on here know most of this stuff backwards so when they're giving info out they don't explain fully to the likes of me. (And im sure a few others) Im 46 yrs old and think that I am just past the age when all this stuff comes naturally. So I wonder if some kind soul would do a 'Sticky' on installing mods etc, and keep it real simple. ...Guy P.S How do I find replies to my posts as well. (Don't use forums much either)

Gtx 780 running 3 monitors

Hi All, This is probably a silly question but im trying to get the hang of landing and taking off the Dora and the 109k. Is there a mission that someone has made that would enable me to do this without having to go to the in game missions/campaigns. For example, the only mission I can find for Dora practise involves flying through gates and circling the runway. Id like there to be no gates and just get straight in there. For taking off and landing. I know this can probably be achieved using the mission editor but that is really all Dutch to me. Thanks in advance, ...Guy

Hi all, another couple of questions for you. I have the Huey and in my attempt to learn to train the beast I came to the weapon tutorial. All goes well until it tells me to press 'M' to get the target reticule up. Well this doesn't work and when I check in the Sim controls, 'M' is designated to the flexible sight. I also cant get into the R/H door gunner seat by pressing 3. Could all this be down to my track IR confusing things or is there an update that im missing out somewhere. How do I update the game? I bought it and the addon modules through steam. Sorry for all the questions, ...Guy

Sorry for my stupidity, ED =eagle dynamics obviously. But as I installed the game through Steam I wont have an account with ED will I? Every time I try to open a ticket with Steam to ask them how to make the message box with the Activation code in it bigger, it re-routes me to the DCS Forums page. This is really starting to bug me now. ...Guy

Hi, heres an update. When I look at the activation keys, the one for the 109K appears to be all there in the little box but the activation key for the Huey ends with KNSFMB-JVJ...? Does this mean that there are 3 letters missing? Maybe because of the size of the box they appear in? Is there any other way of obtaining these activation keys. Ive tried copying and pasting but that doesn't work. Getting a bit desperate now. ...Guy

(Its my age) Ive tried Copying and pasting the Activation code but for some reason that doesn't work. Also how do I activate it through the .exe. in the game?
