Hi all, I'm starting this campaign & have a question on radio usage. When starting the mission i'm asked to tune to TAD 12, the tactical training frequency, which is 124 MHz AM. Apart from that, the briefing states a guard channel at 243 MHz to monitor at all times & my own flight is at 251 MHz. I can use radio 1 to monitor the tactical training freq,radio 2 for comms with JTAC & the UHF to monitor my flight & leave the guard channel alone? Or do i need to switch between flight & guard channel on the UHF radio? cheers Badger

Hi, I have a problem with mission 1. After startup & mission footprints radio call, I get cleared for take-off, but my flight remains in their parking spots. Is there a radio command I should issue to get them going? best regards B

Hi, I just got a mail from eagle dynamics stating that the AAT campaign will be released on 24/02 this year. Considering i just finished this campaign, are there any major changes? Or is this actually the TTQ campaign that is being released? best regards B

Hey all, I finally managed to finish the last mission in time! Yeay. In the end i get a Qualified rating, the old/bold pilot speech & the fireworks, but the campaign didn't rate as a win? Is there anything i missed in that last mission? Quit too soon? Not too worried though, finishing these campaign really gives you a sense of accomplishement :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Any update on the next training campaign? Badger

Hey Munga, I think i've seen this as well. In my case the C-130 crashed when i speeded up time while waiting for the CDU startup. & this prevented the rest of the mission script to run properly. When i did the startup in real time (no acceleration) it did not happen. cheers B

Hi all, When landing the A-10C, when rolling down the runway I almost always get a short CDU error message with some yellow reverse video that lasts for maybe a second. Also the master caution light comes on very shortly. I don't have any screenshots of this, but i was wondering what is happening & if it can be avoided. Best regards Badger

Yes, only it didn't say cool or ready, just a 1 as in one msl remaining. Also the missile DSMS page showed both left hand side AIM9 entries as off. Couldn't change those either.

Hi all, I've passed this PO on the first pass, yeay! However, after firing the first AIM9, the second one doesn't seem to go active, as I do not get a seeker on the HUD. Do you have to take any action to activate the second missile? I've tried re-entering AA master mode, it did show the AA gun reticle, but no seeker cage. Best regards Badger

Hi Sabre, Thanks for pointing this out, i figured i'd only have to use one key, as i'm using easy comms, but using the diff. mic switch buttons solved the problems. Thanks a lot I think, trying AAR is certainly every bit as much trouble as trying comms with the tanker :)

Hi all, For starters, i've tremendously enjoyed playing the Basic Training campaign, i'd recommend it to anyone starting DCS A10. However, in mission ATF01 i have a radio problem, i get no response from Kobuleti on startup or taxi requests. I do get a takeoff clearance when right off the runway. This would not be a big problem, but i get the same problem with the tanker. Texaco is not responding to my calls & is not lowering the boom, so i can't even start trying. I'm using easy radio & the tanker & Kobuleti control show up white. Also, i check the radio frequencies & they show allright. Any ideas what could be wrong? cheers Badger

Hi, i've installed the app on my Android tab & on my PC (running W8.1 & DCS A-10 on steam). I have changed the monitor to virtual cockpit & turned full screen mode off. The MFDs show up fine in the app, but the buttons are not working (got the full version of the app). Any ideas what's the problem? I also have an iPad (actually, my wife has :)). have tried the free version there, with the same problems, connection is no problem, but no input possible :( On a side note, do i really have to buy the iOs version too? Or do you offer some sort of double supscription? Edit: this problem got solved, i was using A10 standalone instead of the DCS World module. Works great now, with a virtual display cheers Badger
