  1. 25th!!!! A true Christmas miracle.
  2. Its not going to help if its not a higher resolution.
  3. I use towns, road, intersections, units that I have killed previously (still emitting smoke) as references. Look on the bright side, the A10 has a crazy ridiculous view angles from the cockpit. You can even look right behind you. If you were trying to learn the su25 you'd have a much harder time. The A10a is a greater learner craft. I had loads of problems when I first started too! ^^^
  4. Zoom view is your friend for finding targets. In the real world there aren't view distance limitations and people have much better vision than 1080p. If you have bomb I guess you could use the pipper to lock a spot on the ground and keep that as your reference point. However I think many people, myself included, focus too much on the cockpit and less on the world around you. Every time I find a unit to prosecute I look at what is around it so when I come around for my pass I can use those references to find it easily. The A10a relies more on visual awareness and a sense of position relative to your targets; less on weapons and other systems. Don't think so
  5. Totally doable just completely crazy A10AvsSA19.trk
  6. It is possible to dodge the tunguska missile but not very practical. I think its done by turning into the missile at the last second. It important to know that at best its going to miss you by a couple of feet. There is some old adage that goes something like "practice like you're going to fight". There is no launch warning. If you see a sa-19 you are best off by running away. If you have to engage targets guarded by it you are best off trying to scan for it with a maverick and launch the missile at it. In my experience dealing with the tunguska is hard. If you manage to get close to it, you still have to worry about its guns.
  7. The mavericks tend to want to lock onto everything right now. Power lines, buildings, you name it. If your target is among a lot of objects, good luck, you'll need it. If your problem is between one vehicle and 1 object, you can try and place your cursor as far away from the problem object as you can while close enough to still get a lock on the vehicle. I think there are other problems with the A10-A right now, that seem to have been around for a while. I think they've all been reported but unresolved. The cbu97 being the most aggravating. Good luck flying.
