Thanks all for the replies, decided to hold off for now and upgrade his rig in February for his birthday

Hey all, trying to upgrade my kids rig that I got a great deal on. Its rocking an RTX 3050, which is bottom of the barrel I guess. If anybody has an old 2080, or something along that performance line, Id be very appreciative Shipping would be to Lower Alabama, US. Many thanks

I inquired with them ages ago for something I don’t even remember but was told that it’s not for retail sale, just commercial training etc.

What does the CDR button do?
tribundf replied to eifionglyn's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
CDR button is used to temporarily disable the centering force (trim) so you can move the stick to a new “center”. Generally what most helicopter with modern AFCS use, so you can essentially momentarily “interrupt” the flight control system tho reorient the aircraft. It is however currently not modeled, but you do have a trim release button right now, which essentially is the same thing, just a very rudimentary solution, until the afcs is fully modeled.- 1 reply

investigating Gunner Status doesn't pop up in VR
tribundf replied to scorpion80's topic in Bugs and Problems
I use a 10” touch screen and a standard monitor. Have the touchscreen setup to the right of my screen. Half the Gunner panel is on the bottom left of my main screen and the other half nowhere to be found Kneeboard box shows up in VR but the actual knee board only on the VR mirror. controls indicator and cargo box is nowhere to be found. Im using open knee board anyway, so at this point I’ve stopped messing with it. My gunner ROE etc. is setup with keybinds anyway, so I just cycle through -

Yeah, saw that. Can still use Helios tho. That’s what I do, and my AI panel is also wired and I’m missing a few other overlays like cargo box etc. Really need an option from ED to move those overlays and make it a bit easier to adjust them -

Are you using Helios or have a special monitor file? -
The Load is Swinging Fore and Aft...Tim? Ten? Tam?
tribundf replied to dresoccer4's topic in DCS: CH-47F
Ten as in 10 feet, is how I understand it. he tells you it’s centered too, so if it’s swinging he will tell you how far out it is swinging -
This is not an open knee board issue. Open knee board works fine. Im talking about the DCS integrated knee board and with that any other overlays like control indicator, external cargo indicator, crew ROE indicator etc.

Trim no longer working with Rhino ffb
tribundf replied to 142nd_Bama's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
Still works fine on my Brunner, however the trim reset function currently is not working and ED is aware. check you bindings? Maybe something got messed up? Double bound in UI layer maybe? -
I seem to be facing a different issue entirely, but I am hoping that someone here might have a magic solution. I am running VR with one touchscreen to export the Chinook CDU. Got it all to work perfect, except my Kneeboard is not working correctly. I can see the sizeable box in VR, but I cannot see the actual kneeboard, as this only shows up on my main monitor. Seems to be a viewport issue that I am unable to solve. Tried all the lua changes above too. Check the pic attached, so yall know what I mean. Using VR without any helios exports, works just fine and all shows up as intended Many thanks

reviving this topic, as I have the same issue and unable to solve. Has there been a solution? Attached is my VR mirror screenshot. Empty box shows in VR but no kneeboard, thats only on my main monitor

Showing the mouse in center of your view with a command would be perfect. That way you can use it in VR to push buttons with head movement and left/right click mapped
