  1. I’d love to see this too, being able to assign an axis to a button press would be very useful
  2. Just to add a bit more on this, the current arrangement makes it difficult to use or build replica equipment, as adding a button action to a flip up plastic cover is extremely difficult
  3. There is already an option to disable the trigger guard on the cyclic. For similar reasons, please could an option be added for the Guard for Chop and Jettison buttons on Collective? As with the cyclic trigger guard, having to also press a button to open the guard is unnecessary
  4. Does this post help? https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=67025
  5. I have $26 in bonus, expiring in three days, but I can't seem to be able to use the bonus to pay for anything. I've clicked through all the way to where I have to enter the credit card details, but I haven't seen any option to use my bonus. Any idea what page I should be looking for this on? Thanks in advance!
  6. So I bought the Normandy map, assets, and Spitfire from the store here, downloaded and installed DCS2 and the Spitfire (just 10 mins ago), but can't see the Normandy terrain or assets in module manager. It helpfully lets me buy Nevada, but I didn't think I had to buy that to fly the Spitfire. Can anyone help? I'm a little frustrated. What am I doing wrong?!
  7. Thanks, both, that's a big help. Ian, also many thanks for your 'How to export.....' guide - I couldn't have done what I wanted without it! I think I'm headed down the R9 Fury X approach for my card, but still not 100% decided.
  8. I have had the best results setting up software showing the monitors in a single line with the main game to the left and the MFCDs at the right-most location, so the bottom of your T would be at the far right. That doesn't stop you physically placing that monitor anywhere you like. I've only used two monitors, though. But setting the screens in a line from a software perspective caused fewer problems. My physical placement was one above the other.
  9. I'm thinking about a new PC, but I'm not sure what's the best approach to graphics cards. I want to export the MFCDs in A-10c to a second monitor. I've been able to do this successfully with my current PC but I'd like to make the right decision for a new PC. So my question is, am I better to spend my graphics card budget on one card and plug two monitors into that card, or should I split the budget between two less-capable cards? My graphics card budget is around USD$650. If I'm splitting the cost, should I have one better card for the primary display and a lesser card for the MFCDs? Any help greatfully appreciated!
  10. Great - I'm just getting started with my MFCDs now - this looks like the way to go!
  11. Wow, thanks everyone for the help and info. I bought the MFDs, found an old monitor and plugged in an old graphics card to my PC, downloaded Ultra MFCD to see whether I could make it work and wow, looks like it did! I've attached a photo of it set up and running  Now all I need to do is learn how to fight the A-10! Thanks again, I couldn't have done this without you guys.
  12. Thanks, everyone. I guess a second graphics card is essential for the second monitor. What monitor do you use?
  13. Great, thanks for the quick replies! That's given me a bit to think about - I had added them to my shopping basket ready to buy, and I'd seen a few setups with the monitors behind them so I figured I could work towards that. Not sure what to do now, but thanks for the feedback.
  14. Hi, everyone, I'm new to DCS and the A-10c, but it's completely taken over my life in the past few days! I'm thinking of getting a couple of the Thrustmaster MFDs, but a quick Google search seems to throw up some reliability issues. So I was wondering what experience you all have with them? Are they reliable for you? Anything I need to know before I buy? Thanks in advance!
  15. Hi kingpinda, thanks for the help. As you said, the ailerons problem was because of no power, once I had power they worked fine. I think the throttle issue must have been because of a lack of idle, as you said. My stick has a built-in throttle, so I cycled that up and down to zero, and the throttle undocked after that without a problem. Superb - many thanks!! I really appreciate the help.
  16. Quick update - if I choose the 'Free Flight - Black Sea - Ramp Srart.miz' mission then all the controls work normally, although they are still not recognised in the training mission. I'm completely stumped and out of ideas.
  17. Dear all, I'm having some odd problems with some inputs not being recognised in some training missions. In the Aircraft Startup Training Mission, my joystick roll axis is not recognised, but pitch works fine and my rudder pedals work fine too. Also, RT-ALT + HOME does not work to release the throttle, neither does RT-CTRL + HOME. Obviously, this makes completing the training a bit difficult! However, when I jump into the Navigation Training Mission my engine controls and joystick work fine. I've checked to make sure that I don't have game mode selected, and I've also checked to make sure that the mapping is correct in the configuration. I have paused and checked the controller configuration during the training mission too and all the axes seem to be mapped OK. I'm using the Steam version of the game. I've tried deleting the input device profiles in... C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\Aircrafts\ ...but this hasn't helped. Does anyone have any ideas?! I'm using a CH Fighterstick and Pro Pedals. My HOTAS Cougar died six months ago - saving up for a new HOTAS! Many thanks in advance for your help.
