  1. Video of 2.4 during Winter! More seasons coming up, enjoy!
  2. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=72961 What I've found in our own forums. Unfortunately the videos are not up anymore. So that's internet information from the very Serbian Mig-29 pilots.
  3. Still as valid as a downgraded piece of equipement :)
  4. Any idea when 1.5.4 is going to be released? Poor me that thought that this update hiatus was because of 2.5 being about to be released. I have to keep dreaming then.
  5. The RWR on the Serbian Mig-29s was not operational due to lack of servicing. Unfortunately the Yugoslavian (later Serbian) Air Force fell into disrepair after 1990.
  6. Export missile and RWR versions are known to be downgraded from the actual equipment that the Soviet VVS and the 90s Russian Air Force had. So I don't know how accurate could that information be (of course, it could be more accurate than the usual malarkey we find around in internet with a superficial research).
  7. Yes, but the point is that the Alamo has inertial guidance at the first stage of the flight, where there is no radio-command update.
  8. That was the point of view I was trying to explain. Thanks!
  9. Hahaha nah, I do know that the AMRAAM is superior in most ways to the Alamo. I was just wondering of the first phase of the flight and why does the attacked aircraft get a signal while the inetial guidance is controlling the Alamo. They are not the same thing, the mid course updates "update" the inertial guidance. So, until the mid course update is not done, the launcher aircraft shouldn't have to change the radar emiting band to terminal Guidance, therefore not warning the attacked aircraft of the missile launch til the first update. Not as well that I said "should". Is not a perfect world :megalol:
  10. Well... is there any reason it should? Do you have any evidence out there to back that up? Otherwise, having a semi active seeker head with inertial navigation sounds useless if the attacked aircraft can realize straight away that a missile has been launched at it. It doesn't offer any advantage over the Super 530D and the Aim-7M, or does it?
  11. Fully clickable cockpit and modded F-15 Su-27SM Su-22M3 Fitter Fully clickable and full model Su-25A Frogfoot A-6E Intruder A-4B/C Skyhawk Mirage III and V Mig-23MLD Flogger F-111E/F Aadvaark!!! Maps/Theatres: - Falklands - Central Europe (Cold War Germany Theatre with Fulda Gap) - Vietnam
  12. They look like Tiberium trees  (Command & Conquer joke) Is Kane around?
  13. The first is wrong, I do apologize on that. The only russian aircraft of that generation that can do that is the Mig-31. My mistake! But if it's true and implemented, shouldn't it not give a launch warning indication on the enemy a/c RWR when launched?
  14. What are the reasons it might not be the best idea? It seems that evidence is all around if you look for it.
  15. IMHO, I think the R-27s are not correctly modded in DCS. I've read various articles about the missile that states that: 1) It can be guided by another Su-27 budding with the launch platform. 2) The first phase of the missile flight is done by intertial guidance with a radio-command update in the first stage, becoming semi-active on the final stage of the flight. http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/row/aa-10.htm That's a nice article about it. ED, is it possible to be corrected in future updates? Best Regards,
  16. My experience with the 2.0. Loving it! Thanks Starway! Can't wait 'til ED releases 2.5 and I apply this DLC!
  17. Is it confirmed that the Viggen is coming out with a brand new map? Haven't seen it anywhere. I DID read that the Tomcat was coming with one indeed, but nothing about the AJ-37
  18. Does it mean that ED is about to release DCS 2.5? :joystick: Anyway, the "noise" in your textures is not the main reason the TGP is not working. The reason is that the TGP's FLIR is broken and has to be fixed by ED.
  19. Donated! Ok Starway, we crossed $ 2.000.-, give the first version away before I get a heart attack because of my anxiety! :D
  20. Jester, the amount of (censored) you give to everybody in the chat is just a little bit too much. We are supposed to behave maturely and with a sense of chivalry that you just lack. The observed behaviour is not even in games like COD or Battlefield, which are great but lack the sofistication that DCS has. We all (I'm sorry for speaking for everybody in the red team but it looks like) are tired of your trolling and bragging that "you are a real pilot" and we are only "kids". If you are so adult, just act adult. Being 32 years old, with a job related to aviation which consumes a lot of time and with my spare free time divided between my wife an DCS (with Blue Flag, I'm more DCS biased), it is really insulting that there is somebody with your behaviour going unchecked, insulting and trolling around with impunity. That's it from my side, RedFalcon and Frostie, you have my support. Regards, Veritech
  21. That's what I call a good backed up answer and not a plain "yes" or "no".
  22. I don't think I misunderstood anything, I was just talking about the "multiplayer" equation of the post. I just said that when it comes to multiplayer, server managers always find a niche for every aircraft. So, to say that it has no place as an MP a/c is a flawed statement. If we finally get to have a Malvinas/Falklands theatre in the future, the Pucara would be a fine choice to go with, but without forgetting A-4B, Cs and Qs, Harrier Frs1 and Gr3, Super Etendards, Mirages III and V (Nesher Variant).
