I've a throttle from X52 and the stick is the extreme 3d pro. Having in mind the next flight simulators to be released, most probably this will be my next sim controller. No need for rudder pedals (YES!). Force sensing is a must, IMO. A little expensive though.. :pilotfly:

Well.. i have no problems with AP. But then.. i also dont think about it :noexpression: Its almost like a 2nd nature to me. If something wrong, i check if route mode is active, center the ruder, chk AP buttons.. a bit of trim.. and off i go! :smartass: i barely use DM too. Edit : Yeah, same here. That red switch never did anything useful to me. Always land on the belly :P

Made a script to make the initials units positions random. You'll need to have powershell and 7-zip installed in the default directory. Just add the symbol "*" and a number in kilometers next the unit name. Ex: Unit #2 *5 ----> will make that unit be positioned in a 5km radius from original position. if you want just 100m, enter : *0.1 Also, you'll need to change the first line in the script with the current path and mission file name. Just run the batch RndMission.bat or r.ps1 in the powershell console. Every time you run the script, will be created a new mission with *_RND.miz with diferent values. Hoping ED will add this feature in next patch/release. :pilotfly: missions.zip

Since the last patch we can make introduction movies in the beginning of the missions. My question is if it's possible do it in a MP mission. And if that movie will be seen by all the clients. Thanks. Edit : ups.. wrong place, some moderator move this to the right place :doh:

Couldn't agree more.

Very difficult to be stable for online play. Only after Allied Force, witch btw didn't allow modding, the simulator could be played online and it's now the option of choice for most squads. :music_whistling: IMO, moding is a good thing when within limits.

This thread made me curious about this Arma2 thing.. donwloading now at 2.3MB/s :music_whistling:
