This is a HUGE problem that really NEEDS TO BE FIXED for next round: it happened A LOT on both sides and was soooooooo annoying! after hours of fights you take an airfield just to find out it's bugged and doesn't repair, or on the contrary you keep attacking airfields that repair every 120 seconds, for example blue Mozdok spawning f4s every 2 mins! Was it you that made a chinese tower of bunkers in Maykop? Or was it Sweep? Can someone post the screenshots of that? :lol::lol::lol: -

Sorry I misunderstood! :thumbup: I think the problem is not the aim-120, or the modern equipment but all the issues of the 27er that in this game that make it much less effective than in the real world. I agree with microvax, depends much on who's online. Sometimes I see 12 foxes on 1 target, sometimes only 1 or 2. -

IRST and GCI is deadly, but you need 1 GCI for every single pilot! -

Unfortunately this wasn't possible because of the geography of the map: once we lose Minvody we're stuck to open areas. If ED made the ER missiles as in the real world, it would be much deadlier. I mean, Russians are not stupid, they don't choose semi-active for no reason! One of the main issues is the loss of lock, either with lag or in proximity of the enemy aircraft (so it becomes in fact a passive missile). To Monkey: it's not true that we only won rounds with aim-7 -

So it's 80s again? nice! Reduced missile range = closer dogfights = more fun! :thumbup: I think Blufor pilots will agree on this. Plus, semi-active vs semi-active is more fair! To Beer: you could switch sides for one round, many reds and blues did it! We are not as evil as you think :D -

4:50 AM, me and other 4-5 reds defended Maykop against 27+ blues. At some point it was 35 vs 7, at other point 27 vs 5. 5 AM server restarts, no reds on the server :(. -

I think we found out what the bug is... when the sa-3 radars get hit server crashes, this is the 5th time happening. I don't know if it's the flf or sa-3 but suppose it's the flf. -

Replying to IASGATG: it seems to me that all those farps "made to help redfor" were used a lot by blufor in this round and in the last round... Mm 05 is useful for you to take back ln71 and the Gh22 for gj35 or Sukhumi airfield if we manage to take it. Thus, I don't think you made a point there ;) Taking back that pak is now much harder for redfor than it was in the last 5 rounds. But it's up to Xcom and 373 to decide whether it's balanced or not, they know better and are more impartial than us! :thumbup: -

A blue player has been in our channel for two hours listening to our comms... when we all switched to another channel he got back into blue ts. Very unpleasant behavior. -

If you look at the actual mig29a vs f-4 encounters on the server, it's usually 50/50%... -
This happened also on the red side, I think it's because the server was in its last minutes. SA-6 were working, SA-3s were not!

Yesterday I landed a su-25 and a su-27, both times taxiing to parking, did not shut down 100% the engines because I saw the message that I got the life back, but it counted as death only on the players stats (did not lose a life). :wacko:

Plus, people respawning on each other always happens and can take 4 lives in 30 seconds.

You're right, I've played quite a while these days and I'd really like to thank the Buddyspike team for the awesome work, there were HUGE improvements in stability and playability since round 5 despite 1.5 being so unstable... Plus they're always open to feedback and act almost immediately when something's reported here on the forums.

I thought the exact same thing: maybe the heli pilot that placed it could also be credited with the kill!

I noticed that the "restrictions" section on deployable sams has a few bugs, such as radars that stay on even if they've been turned off and reduced range that doesn't always work especially on the SA-6 (the Iglas work a bit better).

We also captured Vaziani but helicopters kept spawning there... That PAK is impossible to capture! :wacko: -

I think it was disabled for non-combined arms owners for some reason as I have the same issue.
