If you want to become a military pilot for the swiss air force the first step is to pass the "SPHAIR"-programm. It consists of a screening (one day full of computer tests) and - if you pass the test - two weeks of flying. For most people, including me, those two weeks are the first time you make contact with general aviation. During the course you will log about 10 flight hours with an instructor. Hey SubZero. Thank you very much for your work! It's AWESOME! Any chance you will do a Fliegerstaffel 8 skin? Are the orange fuel tanks already included in the pack? I wasn't able to download it yet.

The way I understand it is that the pilots have to use more force to move the stick all the way to the left / right. On force feedback sticks you can do this as mentioned. I don't think the button does exist in the real aircraft - but in order to allow simmers without a force feedback stick to access the full maneuver-range they implementet it. As I understand it, the button is just a work around in order to move the stick in it's full range.

For the mirage, I know IFF is implemented in 2.0 but I can't find it in the 1.5 changelog. Was the mirage IFF already updated in 1.5 or can't I fly her in MP for another week? UPDATE: Apparently they missed it in the change log: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2707732&postcount=1274

Does that mean that when I lock a target while I'm in the 30° mode, I can only put the target 30° to my right / left while I'm maneuvering. In 60° mode, I can put the target 60° to my right / left while notching?

I'm sorry to ask this "obvious" question, but can de radar only search at "one elevation"? (I only see one marker in the picture) or does it work like in the F15 where I can set the radar to search betweeen 0 and 23'000 feet?

I get massive fps drops when I'm using zoom (in the cockpit) or when I'm maneuvering very low. I've got a 780TI and a i7 4770k on stock. Other people say I should at least get 80+ fps but, even with reduced shadows and visibility, I'm far away from that.

The Mirage, Hawk, L-39 etc... are still in beta. I can speak for the mirage, there is an official campaign in development: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=159851&highlight=mirage+campaign. The mirage campaign will cover training missions as you will fly as an exchange student from the states. More information in the thread linked.

Hey Flanker. Are people from the green team that got shot down alowed to fly again on the next round? I'm asking since you posted that the kills count.

*UPDATE* The server was back up for a minute, everyone got their life back. As the server started to send all our text and server-messages etc it crashed.

The server isn't running correctly. According to the red side, there are script-problems. We still get Kill/Death messages in the chat but can't see our own text messages. There are problems with helo crates, landing messages are missing etc. Mabye a server restart can solve this.
