I apologize if this has been covered already. I have tried to stay up-to-date on this thread and the previous thread.
With the imminent release of the 1.5 open beta and how hard the team has been working to get it out to us (not just in these last hours, but for months/years), I'm sure there are more than a few that would love the opportunity to give something back.
The first thing I'm sure we can all do is at least forgive whatever bugs we encounter (after all, it is an open beta, and we all have the option of continuing to use 1.2).
My question is, for the bugs that we do encounter, would it be helpful for us to report them (and the specific circumstances under which they occur)? And if so, how do we best go about reporting them? I understand that there are already testers, and what we get has already been through some testing. So, would our reporting of bugs be redundant (since they may very well be known bugs that have just not been fixed yet)? I would imagine that a bunch of people telling the developers about problems they already know about is not helpful. But if it is the case that the developers would be able to use the information we provide, I'm sure some of us would love to help.
I can't wait to fly in 1.5 (and blame every botched landing and mistake I make on a bug, yeah, definitely a bug, not my fault)!
