I can still see that image from here as well. I think Hitch was referring to the absence of the same image from my reply, he might have thought it was because it didn't show up on my screen in the first place, while in fact it did. Correct me if I got that part wrong, Hitch. What do I think? Man! What did I say? "SHE'S GORGEOUS!!", and I mean it. She got pretty eyes...and everything.:D -

Don't get me wrong, man. Why appologize? I knew you were just kidding, and I like doing the same, it's just fun. Try to picture a guy with a firm look of unconditional communism ideal on his face, I'm not that kinda person. I know how to reason. But we also know that some forums don't encourage discussions on politics, religions, etc. That's why I suggested that we talk about these issues elsewhere. We all have access to the same TS server, so the discussion will live on if it's worth carrying on. Don't worry about the picture, I deleted it from the quote, simply in order to minimize the size of my reply. -

A lot has changed since Mao, I've got no problem with him:). It seems that his successors are getting more irritating nowadays, in some manner. Anyway, I'm with them in the big picture, but somehow I find their ruling style utterly naive and ridiculous. Well let's talk about it over TS or IM, we don't want the forum in trouble.:music_whistling: -

They don't need to worry about manned aircrafts, coz all airstrips are closed and barricaded. Civilian aircrafts (including ultralights) defueled, and very few people have access to hot air balloons here. So those remote controlled aircrafts I mentioned were primarily RC models. And if someone dials 110 (sort of like 911), it won't be difficult for cops nearby to bust the RC flier. I ain't taking this kinda risk. Don't ask me buddy, I'm not enjoying this at all. You don't wanna reason with dictators. Anyway, keep an eye on international news on Oct 1st. They think it's well worth the trouble and risk to over-celebrate our country's 60th anniversary. Well, anyway, I don't wanna keep talking about this here. Perhaps do it with IM later.:music_whistling: -

:Dlol, don't get it wrong, buddy. "shall be reported" doesn't work as "shall report". -

Good to hear that you have that all acounted for. Speaking of heli canopy, I miss flying RC. I flew my heli a couple of days ago before a ban on RC aircrafts was issued. A grand military parade is due on Oct. 1st, the National Day. Planes from the airforce will be part of the show. The authorities don't take any chances, they've set a perimeter downtown and areas around, and announced "anyone seen attempting to remote control any form of aircraft airborne shall be reported to the nearest precinct". The ban also involves balloons, kites and pigeons. It will remain effective for more than half a month.:( I'm wondering if there was other reasons for this ban, like potential threat from explosive UAV's....:music_whistling: -
so now, is the i7 meeting expectations?

Thanks! Option 3 might just be right up my alley. Additional monitors don't even necessarily need to have much to do with flight sims. It's always good to have more display space when it comes design works. -

I guess that was my misinterpretation about the 'improvement' which CyBerkut was talking about. -

trigger, is it possible that the solvent from the top layer paint would penetrate and dissolve the base layer paint? DId you experiment on single side of an acrylic plate? When it's done, you'd be able to see from the clear side whether the base layer is still white nice and even. -

Yes I've heard about it, actually I faintly recall a debate over this issue, probably read about it when those guys were still weaking this card to reach the conclusion you presented here. I may get an adaptor and try it for fun, but I don't know how to deal with the 260+ by then. The two GPU's in the 295 must work separately to run triple monitors, does that mean I can SLI one of them with the 260+? I mean the one onboard the PCB with SLI pins. -

:doh:I missed the report window. Now that you're on the dark side of the planet, I may continue dickin' around for a while, lol. Indeed I am poor, I just allocate my limited resources in a different manner from my folks:music_whistling:. I've been busy with a couple of projects and I think I do need to get back to work soon. -

No they must NOT run in SLI mode because I need a DVI port on the 260+ to drive my 3rd monitor. And even the internal SLI inside GTX295 needs to be turned off for me to utilize dual outputs on the master card. PhysX is activated now, but not a couple of months back, due to an unknown bug inside the ASUS MB, which made my system unstable. Also please note that somehow the SoftTH hooks prevented nVidia driver to enhance the graphics. 16xQ anti-aliasing had been selected for DCS, but judging by the in-game graphics quality, it wasing working. I'll keep you updated for overclocking results, but right now I need to work on my projects. keep cool, buddy! -

And my CPU has always been set on auto-overclock, and it runs at 2.80G when the game is on. I'll see how it goes when I manually overclock it to 3.4G. -

Hey trigger, glad to see your progress. And I LMAO when I found you skipped all the testing procedures and went straight to the point, not because I think that was wrong, just that I would have done the same if I were you. lol, this is just too interesting for a guy to take a break. Anyway, how well did it "work"? Did X and Y motors both work as expected, and later both failed? And what do those two arcing wires do? I thought back eletromotive force was the cause, but after rechecking the L6203 datasheet, it's actually been taken good care of by the internal free wheeling diodes. Sorry, I was out on a barbecue when you buzzed me online. But I will be home tomorrow, catcha later. -

Hey buddy, l've been messing with a bunch of stuff for a while. Yeah, water is set to maximum too. The trick with high resolution across multi monitors is running the game in full screen mode. I found it making a great difference, sometimes up to +10FPS. It's good to hear you had ordered your i7. Let me know when you get it up and running, we may get some flying around online.:joystick: -

Hi Flyby, I'm not quite good at explaining details, so I figured it'd be better for me to offer some direct data. My rig is yielding a neat average of approx. 30FPS in BS with all settings on maximum and no overclocking. I'm running Windows Vista 64bit, the combined resolution is 5040*1050 with SoftTH. But SoftTH somehow stopped nVidia anti-aliasing from working... -

If at any circumstances you can get the device to complete enumeration, i.e, make it show up in the device manager, I might have a way only to pinpoint the possible cause of the problem. But I can't guarantee anything. We shall use PM with this issue, cause it's varying off topic a little bit, lol. -
