Easier way to get messages/sounds on killing an enemy?

Thanks for this, it worked in my most recent missions, but it's kind of obnoxious for it to get triggered when even BLUE coalition is killed and you get a kill message... Do you know what lua predicate for condition I could do to get it to only trigger for RED? -
Thanks for the advice. I tried this, but anytime I tried typing a frequency that the plane didn't like, the text reverted itself... I solved this issue by just changing all the JTAC frequencies to be compatible with the M-2000C. So now Multi-role ranges from 121-127hz This change was made to the 1.5 Caucasus map version as well. NTTR Version - 1.11 ---- Caucasus Version - 1.32 --- Enjoy! I did some testing myself, but I didn't really run into this issue, I even forced my game to run that specific mission and didn't have an issue. Might've just been a bug for you that one time... It's possible the pilots died on the way down, so you heard the initial kill message from the plane being destroyed, another for their ejection, and then their death soon after. The kill messages trigger on PILOT KILLED, and if they eject, another "PILOT EJECTED" message appears a few moments later. I had a lua predicate script in the works to optimize this but still couldn't get it to work. I'll probably necro an old post I made a few months ago regarding this....

Yeah, I hate it when the mission randomly gives me the x3 Su-30 or x3 Su-27... haha... I've made those x2 instead. As for the A2A easy, those are the way they are for older planes, F-5E or MiG-21bis. I'm pretty set on how those are for now. I'm planning to look into adding more missions for those, right now I think there are only 7 of each A2A missions. I've also added a zip, which has a version with AI wingmen now if you want. Another thing you could do is earn yourself the A2A backup call by doing the supply or recon missions (I forgot which one gives you what). Either of those give you a A2G or A2A backup call, that spawns an AI group to help you out. Enjoy! v1.28 is out now.

Alrighty I swapped the initial AWACS planes, so now they're correct. I also found the JTAC you were talking about... All the other JTACs are fine, but looks like you guys found the secret mission :p Anyways, I fixed that so it's correct now 161 Mhz AM. Lastly, about that multiplayer thing... MP does some really weird stuff. I might have to look into that further... Let me know if it's consistently doing that if you get a chance :) New version 1.26 available now. Thanks for the feedback

Alright everyone, I appreciate the feedback here. I've implemented something that is a little more intuitive for the player: At the beginning of the mission you can choose to spawn an A-50 or E-3A It will be around for as long as it is flying, alive and well. If at any moment you switch to a different aircraft with different units of measurements, you have an option to SWITCH the AWACS to the other one. It will despawn the old AWACS and replace it with the new one. You can keep switching AWACS aircraft as much as you'd like. If an AWACS goes down, you can choose to respawn a new one, you'll have the choice of the E-3A or A-50 again.

Hiya! I just took a look, I fixed the AWACS problem. He was leaving the zone by a few meters, so it triggered his death messages. Also, I took a second look at the A2A triggers, looks like a flag was mismatched. I might've done that by accident when I was working on another fix. Try the latest update 1.23. Let me know how that goes, thanks!

It's possible there were still RED COALITION alive. If you're playing without the F10 Map, then it can be easy to miss that one may have gotten away. Also, the mission tells you when AWACS is down. I haven't had an issue with this in all my playtesting, and same with others. I just took a look at the mission triggers and all and it seems to be working fine. The mission does potentially spawn more air units, so it's possible you missed that. Additionally, you need to have at least one player as LEAD to initiate and trigger certain mission triggers. I am interested in how this problem came about. Could you elaborate on how you went about the mission and encountered the issue in a little more detail? .trk files help to, but if you could shed a little more info on what happened at least, it would be very helpful for me to figure out what happened. Glad to hear your weekend was quite fulfilling :) This mission can get quite difficult when flying alone. I dunno if I made it apparent enough, but if you do a either the recon/supply run mission, you can earn some AI wingmen to fly with you. Let me know if you're interested in seeing some other changes/mission types or anything else. I'm still very actively updating and improving on this mission everyday, and I'm also thinking of porting this mission to NTTR and other regions of the Caucus. I've just updated with a great fix to the A2G missions, making them a little more in-depth. Thanks for trying it out, I appreciate it!

Alright, the issue was when you landed on the carrier, you got new tasks specific for the carrier. When you swapped planes, there is a script in place so that when you swap, it doesn't give you new missions so that it doesn't clutter the F10 menu. So the tasks you got from the carrier is what you'll have unless you complete one of those with the plane you switched to or just restart the mission with a plane you want. --- But now that I see that's an issue for those who want to switch at anytime so I fixed that. I've addressed this issue in v1.18 by just simply adding more tasks to the carrier so that you're not missing out on tasks when you swap planes. Now after I landed on the carrier after finishing an A2A mission, I got new tasks, switched to A-10C and it's all good now, A2G mission is there.
