I'm so glad to hear that, hope you've been enjoying it! Yes, I do, and I will be adding the Viggen ASAP :D Lookout for anti-ship missions on 1.5 for the Viggen and A2G planes. I've been really busy lately, addressing only bug fixes, but I'd really like some feedback, advice or anything to inspire making the missions within the randomized environment more interesting.

This is for DCS 1.5, which is not on Steam. You should probably consider moving to the standalone version: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/downloads/world/ It's got a major overhaul on the game engine and graphics. You can transfer you Steam licenses to your DCS account and download all the modules you own from steam:

The problem is that I had to change the channels a bit because many other players suggested different channels for other aircraft. M-2000C, F-5E can only use certain frequencies and I wanted to have as many planes work with JTAC as possible. I'm still looking at work-arounds for this, but I can forsee that the friendly aircraft are probably getting in the way with 121,124 Mhz and 151 Mhz channels. Some fixes I can think of are to just remove the ambient AI, but it leaves the mission to feel a bit lifeless. Ultimately I'll have to be deciding what to do. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Weird... It looks like a Direct X issue. Update nVidia drivers, Direct X and MS Framework? Also, maybe let DCS run as admin? Looked into the error a bit, and it's something people get with faulty installations of DX and gpu related drivers... Still going to continue to look at the dmp file... I'll let you know :)
-
Yeah the error is due to me being dumb and not calling enough units within a "DO SCRIPT" I think I've gotten rid of all of those as far as I know... I don't know what's causing the crash, but I've never had an issue... It's possible there's too much, but I know of many other missions that have more units on the map that don't have the same issues. Thanks, I hope I can get this working for you and anyone else who is having the issue :)

Dang! Well, I did update the mission file for everyone to 1.17 for NTTR. Works on my rig, with and without my mods (I use quite a few). Which modules do you own? That may have something to do with it. I know it might be troublesome, but you could try re-installing DCS? I know I had some issues before with DCS in general, not just one mission and re-installing helped. Also, is there a crash log file you could attach for me to look at? Might be somewhat helpful. The last thing you could try is opening the file in the mission editor and remove some of the planes at Nellis AFB that you either don't own or don't use.

I have some issues at times, but you have to take note of where JTAC is in relation to the designated target. The bomb may not see the laser at all. Also, it's possible some of my missions have some poor placement, so let me know what location if you could next time which area you were having issues with. Did it seem to work alright on other missions? Interesting. I just loaded up the mission file with the latest update of DCS 2.0.4.59428 with no mods. What are your system specs? I have a pretty high-end setup, so it's possible your hardware just ran out of memory for DCS.

Yeah, radio frequencies are correct, in both tracks, I do the same thing. I created this scenario, so right when JTAC spawns into the game, it is ready to go with 9-line and all that. The only difference is the distance in which I first attempt to contact JTAC. It's just weird that if I initiate the call at 90nm, but try to do it again when I'm closer, I don't get an answer. My best guess is that the game is waiting for JTAC for me to do the second response once I'm in range, but since I've never gotten the first response from JTAC, I will never be able to properly respond to JTAC.

So, I like to contact JTAC early, not sure if this is correct in the first place. I have a track where I start in the air (already started via mission editor) and I contact JTAC while I'm about 90nm away. No response. I keep trying, still no response. I get about 35nm away and I try again, still nothing, even when I am 10nm away. Second track I posted, I start about 39nm away, I get a response on the first go. I'm wondering if this is just how it is... Did trying to contact JTAC while further away screw something up? I don't really understand why they don't even bother to respond when I'm much closer. It did seem to work when I first contacted JTAC when I was within 40nm to begin with. Anyways, looking on some insight on this... I'm pretty new with JTAC, so I'm just wanting to make sure that this isn't a bug within my mission or how I'm doing it... trk files: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1ech2eo5vaogau0/JTAC%20issues%20%28dcs%20204%20nttr%29.zip?dl=0

I've already got the framework of the mission randomization and dynamic aspect of it down. It's easy to create missions within the mission. Still with me? I just need to learn how to create a good balance and how to make the mission seem realistic and work correctly. I've tried some other scenarios in the past, but it seems that the friendly and enemy AI go at it too hard and just kill each other before you get a chance to get a slice of the fun... I'm always willing to try something, and I'll have to keep trying new combinations of units and vehicles to get that mission type working properly. That being said I am wondering if you know of any specific missions or scenarios out there that have a good example of what you're looking for? Let me know, I'd love to do this update for this mission :)

Whenever I bind anything to NWS, it also brings up the UHF radio. The UHF radio also comes up when I hit S on the keyboard. Also any binds I put on: AN/APQ-159 Radar Cursor Knob - CW/Increase AN/APQ-159 Radar Cursor Knob - CWW/Decrease Does not work, and will have no function when pressed. The keyboard functions for those keys don't work either. I re-installed DCS clean, same with the F-5E module, issue still persists in DCS 2.0.4
