1. Turning off magnetic force trim doesn't untrim your cyclic. Not sure if this is intended or not [ame] [/ame]
2. The autopilot seems to be bugged: [ame] [/ame] It looks like it's always on regardless of what the switches are doing. This also seems to confirm my anecdotal experience with flying feeling identical with and without sas.
3. Yeah the wobble is due to my real life joystick returning to center and wobbling on the spring. Like I said in the video, if you had an FFB joystick (and FFB was implemented) that wouldn't be a problem. This is a problem on all DCS helicopters, it's just all the other ones aren't nearly as sensitive so it's a non-issue.
4. This is how the trim system works: [ame] [/ame] It's really straight forward guys.
5. That wont do because autocollective defaults to on.
6. For me at least, it feels MUCH easier to fly this helo without autopilot then with. Now this maybe just because I haven't gotten used to it, but I find that it really wants to fight you if you're doing anything other then flying straight at speed.
7. This is a reported and fixed (internally) bug. It crashes when it tired to detect things that are jamming. Next stable patch will have a fix.
8. Ok, following that advice (thanks for the tip, had no idea!) I'll answer my own question with a list: (Each weapon is prefixed with what pylon can mount them, C = center, I = Inner, O = Outer) Bombs [i O] - Fab-100 [i O] - Fab-250 [i O] - OFab-100 (some sort of cluster bomb?) [i O] - 2x OFab-100 [i O] - P-50T (training Bomb) [i O] - SAB-100 (8x Parachute flares per bomb). Pods [i O] - PK-3 (Gun Pod) [ CO] - Smoke Rockets [i O] - 16x S-5KO (rocket pod, HEAT+Frag) Missiles [ O] - R-60M (IR, 8km max range) [ O] - R-3S (IR, 35km max range) Tanks [i ] - 150L Fuel tank [i ] - 350L Fuel tank I'll also add this do that future google searches find this post: L-39ZA Armament
9. I'm thinking of getting it and just wanted a list of the weapons that this plane can carry.
10. What weapons are we getting with the F-5E? I've heard of AIM-9Ps but that's it.
11. To be clear, I crash when I switch radar from warm-up, to standby, to on after it warms up. I couldn't attach the file, but you can get it here. In it you'll find info on both of the crashes, with the logs, tracks, and bumps for each.
12. As the title goes, the labels/text is light blue for a bunch of the cockpit instruments. I had an English cockpit mod installed prior to update ting, but I've removed it, reinstalled the module, and made a DCS repair just to be sure.
13. I seem to remember a while back someone saying that the flood lights would be implemented soon, when will this happen?
14. Amazing! This will definitely be a day-1 buy for me! Thanks a ton for all the work you guys put in.
15. So, I was wondering if it would be possible to include a load-out option for the helicopter which would allow us to remove the pylons, camera, and the "gunner" tv/controls, kinda like what Belsimtek did with their Mi-8. I don't know if the real helicopter could support this, but it would be awesome to strip it down even more for some fast maneuvering and racing!
16. I'm wondering, would It be somehow possible to create settings like this for the armor, ir hiders and pylons? Sometimes when I fly pure transport, there's no need for any of the fancy military stuff that just adds weight, and the map writer didn't think of removing them when placing the aircraft.
17. IE: does it refresh the radars duration? Or do I have to repair for that to happen?
18. I posted in the wrong subforum, so I'm posting here instead. This is an interesting bug. Basically (as far as I can tell) whenever you turn off the fuel pumps, whatever was the readout on the fuel-flow indicator becomes the new "zero" readout. IE: spin down your engine to idle (it should now read 16 kg/m) then turn it off, you'll get this: Now if you turn your engine on again, it will act as if 16 kg/m is the "zero" value, so it'll finish spinning up at around 30ish, and turning it off will now leave you with a flow 20ish. It seems like you can keep this going forever. Edit: Strangely enough after idling for a long time (around 20 minutes, not sure though as I was alt-tabbed watching a video) the flow indicator seems to have gone back down to 16.
19. I agree, I have no clue how to use the INS system (and the provided manual is rather lackluster).
20. Just realized I posted in the wrong subforum, please click here for the new thread. The old post is in the spoiler below.
21. I can only find bits and peaces spread out over the internet....

No offence to you but this seems sketchy. No guarantee that you'd just bail with someone elses $50.
