  1. Cool! See you there! :D
  2. If you have Acrobat Pro you can export the pdf as doc file. (Only if that is not against the EULA of course)
  3. All I know is that the Shark will keep me busy for a very long time, hopefully until the next DCS module arrives.
  4. I've just noticed that there is actually blood on the inside of the cockpit window! (4th and 7th screenshots from Naval's post). That's quite awesome!
  5. Now every US citizen will get a can of Dr. Pepper. :D
  6. I was reading through the X52 MOD thread too earlier today and noticed the absence of the pictures you mentioned (pic 1 and 2). It would be nice if you could post/upload them again. Thanks!
  7. At least we're having fun while we are waiting. :D
  8. The KA-50 is a deadly weapon, not only from an enemy's point of view.
  9. Reminds me of that scene from Independence Day where the drunk guy destroys one of the alien ships by flying into it through the laser beam. :D
  10. :megalol: :megalol: :megalol:
  11. Precision mod sounds interesting. What does it do exactly? EDIT: Just found the thread. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=21199
  12. Of course you can, the problem is that you will be very limited with exact rudder movement because the z-axis of the Evo (I'm not sure about the ST290 but it looks very similar to the Evo) does not allow for much movement, about one cm in each direction, at most.
  13. :megalol: Some action you got in your neighbourhood!
  14. Nowhere. DL version is not available yet.
  15. I had a logitech stick once and I know that I will never buy one of those every again. The Z-Axis started to act weird after a few weeks of use (I didn't have any pedals back then) and it wasn't possible to calibrate it. A friend of mine had the same stick at that time and guess what? The same issues. -> JUNK POTS, just like Bucic mentioned. My next joystick was a Cyborg Evo which I was completely satisfied with until I upgraded to the X52 with rudder pedals (my current setup). Last weekend I found my old Cyborg lying around and I thought maybe it could be more useful than catching dust so I started to take it apart. My plan is to build a collective, similar to urze's project, using the Cyborg's stick as collective handle. Should be quite good for BS. It has 6 regular buttons (including the trigger button), one 8-way hat switch and the z-axis which is built into the stick, so it is still usable.
  16. Can't be that hard to do. I mean all the vehicles are able to follow a road. (At least in LO it was possible to select on/off-road)
  17. Good question!
  18. Sounds like LOTS of fun to me! :D Sorry, this input was not really productive but I think that the steep learning curve and the high realism is one of the main motivators for most people to play BS. At least for me it is.
  19. New ME sounds like real fun! In one of Matt's producre's notes (not sure which one it was) he was flying over (crossing) quite a big river. I just imagined putting one of those armed speedboats in that river and then chasing it with the KA-50. :joystick:
  20. WOW! Thanks for the review! Somehow I think the flight model will be harder to master than expected, but then again, it wouldn't be Black Shark if it were easy.
  21. This is exactly the reason why I love Black Shark (and I haven't even played it yet) or any other sim with such a high level of realism. It's a joy reading through the manual, studying the aircraft and all its systems/functions. In addition you also have the greatest and most dedicated community supporting the sim.
  22. Hang in there! Soon you'll be :pilotfly:
  23. It's only a few more days until the DL version is released.
