@BIGNEWY I was curious if there is a plan to add more modern ai units (we saw a small increase lately and absorbing m92 mod -thank god)… More ground units (blue and red) example: LMTV, FMTV, additional Hemett variants, up-armored Humvee, crows nest Humvees, etc. and also add additional water units, anything from river type patrol boats, to coastal patrol boats, all the way up to additional components of the blue water fleets, a great example of a list would be: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_currently_active_United_States_military_watercraft Finally, I’m sure the C-17 has been requested a billion times, along with the SH-60B models, but what about adding C-141, or any of the Military aircraft Mod or Civilian Aircraft mods to be inserted like M92? thanks in advance!

Hello ED team and community, I’ve been working on a mission in which helicopters need to taxi to a designated takeoff point (such as a runway, taxiway, or departure area) from their parking spots. Issue: AI helicopters without wheels (OH-58D, UH-1H, AH-64, Mi-24, etc.) do not hover taxi to a takeoff position like real helicopters would in an operational environment. Instead, they either: Take off straight up, then slowly move toward their waypoint (sometimes bobbing up and down first). Stay stuck in place if told to move at a low altitude. What Works: Wheeled helicopters like the Blackhawk, Chinook, and Apache can ground taxi normally to a takeoff position. What I’m Trying to Achieve: I’d like non-wheeled helicopters to move realistically from their parking spots to a departure point (ramp, runway, or a designated takeoff pad) before taking off. (Ideal behavior: lift off, 3’-5’, slow hover taxi just as if they had wheels to runway, or be able to give hover taxi command to a departure point - “H” pad or taxiway departure) Questions: Is this a limitation of the AI flight model, or is there a way to force AI to hover taxi properly? Are there any planned updates or improvements to AI helicopter ground behavior in future DCS versions? Is there a known workaround (besides scripting AI to spawn in the air or use delayed takeoff)? Thanks for any insights!

Looks like the satelite image of the airfield is appropriate, although I heard almost all the buildings including the terminal and cargo areas have been demolished. Google maps shows that as well. Attached are some in game shots. I saw somewhere in the forums it’s wip…so we can hope. I was there 2006-2008, pretty sure I remember every pebble.

Joint Task Force 501 is Expanding! As we begin to open up recruiting for the newly formed CVW-5, we're looking at including the VF-102 F-14 Squadron. Only issue is: we don't have any expert Tomcat Drivers! So we aren't going to recruit for them until we have infrastructure in place! If you've ran a squadron before and have the understanding of the training, capabilities, and requirements that are needed for a Tomcat Pilot and RIO...this may be the situation for you! Interested? I've added a screen shot. in this screen shot I only changed some font. colors were not altered. obviously it was the main fuse file. I even did an eyedropper from the still vivid dds files...

Hey gang, First, I tried to google the crap out of my question, but couldn't get any traction. I have PS2021, been doing skins for a hot bit, noticed just today, F-16C skins are now either reading or exporting lighter than before. Example: I changed the name on one of our Squadron Liveries, no color changes, and now it looks like it's been sitting on the ramp for a year straight (bled) but just the file that I "Updated". Any suggestions, or is this a known thing that I just didn't know about? Thanks, Wayne Lemke JTF501.com

Maybe already reported....but...this is repeatable constantly, but just in Caucasus Map. (Yes I've contacted ATC). Airport Lighting does not work at night in multiplayer only. VASI/PAPI are working, ILS is working along with TACAN. However, all airport lighting is non-existent. This does work in single player however.

To kind of piggy back off the OP. I noticed there’s no fuel tank files. I was hoping for some guidance on where or how to adjust and probably need a heads up on the changes in the lua description? Any help is appreciated!

That’s exactly what my original post said; there’s a list of features that will be implemented, but no roadmap of what features will be done in a general order. Further, there are things like TWS that was implemented because it crossed both platforms, but we don’t have a clue what’s currently in work/coming soon. Should I be looking for my Mavericks after the gun symbology gets released or is that anticipated to be Q4 of 2020? There’s no way that’s “the list”. Also...texture template.

I have searched, but haven't found if there's a tentative roadmap of what order features will be developed and then implemented. There's a list of tentative features, but now which are being worked, which ones have higher priority, which are "easier" than others such as A2G Radar "Not So Easy". I was curious if these were going to be addressed? For an example: Weapons While we have our A2A weapons and GP/LGBU Bombs (and rockets). There's been no mention of where Mavericks, JDAMs, and HARMs will be added to the overall arsenal. We know you guys are hard at work, just curious. Thanks!

A few users found yesterday that there is a small bug with the unguided bombs. General info: Found on multiple users Persian Gulf Map (didn't try others) Seems to be isolated to MK-83 Can be easily replicated if MK-83 are at three stations (Center+2 wing) Observation: under A/G mode 83x is not selectable in the stores page. Gun is selectable AA Modes work fine. This can happen in air or on ground. When reconfigured to MK82 or SnakeEyes in similar configuration works fine. when MK-83 is only on wings and not center stores, no issue and is completely selectable. Not a major hurdle, just a small observation. Thanks!

Personally, I say drop all other priorities and get these Tomcats in the mix. This will be huge for DCS in general and will sell like hot cakes. Only thing I see giving issues is carrier ops...needs revamped
