what causes the "templates" to be deleted? I have been fighting this problem for sometime now!:(

COMMS Jack is correct, after "break down"( removing chains and tiedowns), "yellow shirts" take command. They are in radio contact with "flight deck control" for what/when to do with each a/c! Some times the pilot maybe in comms with his Squadron freq/readyroom, for any last min instructions.:thumbup:

We have "request startup", but then we we need "cleared to taxi CAT #" instructions, or as in RW deck crew hand signals to CAT!:music_whistling:

I searched, but have not found, how to use the JHMCS in air to ground. I see on the screen it says "AG Mode", but how do I use it for targeting ground tgts????

for some reason I can't get the "show FPS" key command to work on any a/c (open Beta)

Can ED fix the problem that after each update, when I open the sim I have this list of a/c that I do not own, wishing to be installed! Got to delete them in the mods folder each update! Not a big prob, but bothersome!

I experienced the same problem WITH SOME A/C not all. IMHO it has to do with what was updated for that particular a/c. I always make copies of my "profile files" on each of my a/c.

f14 here are my settings for June 1995. I can fly a F14 training mission? pardon the family photo;)

How do I get the F14 to load into the sim? I have it installed, but does not show on the available a/c list (tried setting the year to 1990:(

I can't get the F14 to show it is available to place on any airfield or on the CV> I have it showing "installed", and have set the year to 1990???

Could some good soul run through how to make a WWII mission? I choose Normandy, and WWII on the ME first page, but sim does not show any available WWII a/c. I can run the P51 trng missions no problem????

installed Normandy, WWII effects, P51, ME 109. Have training missions for P51 however, when I attempt tp use ME to create a mission (WWII selected), I am not seeing and a/c from that time period! What am I missing???:(

Twice today I had a trap, taxied out of the "gear" up to CAT 1 & 2 and the CAT crew just stand there with no instructions or launch???:(

throttle removed the FA18 from DCS, deleted all FA18 files, ran a "repair" reinstalled A/C, reset default control setting on X56, and in sim and still having most of the problem.1 More data. when I have made a mission with several FA18 (player and clients), the FIRST a/c I enter, the throttles start a FULL, until I advance them maybe 1 inch, then the reduce to idle. If I then choose a new role in the mission, all works OK. attached is the mission t1.miz

Is there a method to export the knee board to a second monitor???

Increased dead zone to 6. on "FLY", stand on brakes, throttles at idle, power comes on at 100%. Advanced throttle quickly to 'full" then back to idle, power reduces to 64%. Why does the ME show the airspeed at 127kts when "start on ramp hot" selected, should it not be at "0"kts?

Tried "inverse", no help! noting else, either axis or key assigned to throttles!

I have had the "bug" since day1, but today it is messing with my mind today. 1. Open Beta 2. X56 HOTAS and rudder peds (calibrated) 3. Assigned correct axis to HOTA in sim( checked axis tune) 4. Placing a/c at land base. player 5. choosing "start on ramp hot",(altitude displays airfield alt. Air Speed shows 127kts) 6. save mission. 7. start mission 8. in pit, RPM jumps to 100% with throttles full aft 9. A/c begins to roll (brakes won't stop it) 10. Advance Throttle position to 100 % then reduce to idle 11. RPM comes down to the 61*64 % only in FA18 other a/c OK What the flip is going on????:mad:
