in the HUD only view, i get the radar on the bottom left and the map on the right which i always get rid of with the K key. it would be cool to put the RWR in the bottom right, is that possible? thx

hi, the OP here, yes i read the specs wrong, my GTX780 is 3GB, the TV i'm looking at is an LG and it does not have display port. anyhow the shop said i could take my computer over and they would plug it in so i can try it out. i'll try that today and thanks for all the info

thanks, i wonder how 2X760 in SLI compares to 1x 780? what frame rates are you getting? i read the 4k TVs only really do 30Hz anyhow in 4K mode. is that a problem? i read some nvidea forums about problems driving 4k tv from gtx780 but they were old posts so maybe all the problems are fixed now? sounds like you are having no problem. i assume you just have an HDMI cable connecting them? i just sold my rift DK2 on ebay because i hated the resolution and figured better to sell it while its still worth something. i'm pondering if to put that money into a 4k TV or wait for the rift CV1, but then i need to buy a GTX970 too.

hi, is anyone using voicebot? its a very cool program to command your game (DCS) by voice. it works very well actually BUT i can't program actions with the meta keys (shift, ctrl, alt, etc) if they require specifically left or right side, like left alt R for example. has anyone found a way around this limitation? thx

there's a great deal on a 40" UHDTV (4k) in my local shop, so that's 3840x2160 resolution that a boat load more than my current 1920x1200 monition which gets awesome frame rates. i have an i7 4GHz with 8GB and a GTX780 8GB i wonder if DCS would run ok on that setup on a 3840x2160 tv plugged into the HDMI port. thanks

sorry still don't get it. i'm playing instant action at the moment, not a mission, so what's my callsign? i assumed it was 'steve' since i set that in the log and that's what shows up on my plane when i have labels on. maybe I am Enfield 1-1 then?

i'm new to this so sorry, by why is the AWACS never talking to me? its sending BRA info to Enfield 1-1, etc but it never says my call sign 'steve' (yep I know, not very fighter pilot callsigny). I'm in the FC3 instant action F15 game. any ideas what i'm doing wrong? it would be nice to get BRA info on targets. thx

i got FC3 from steam yesterday and wow, lots of fun and awesome graphics. but i'm not sure i can use the new Nevada test range with the steam version since the steam version of FC3 requirement me to load the steam version of DCS world which is an older version, not the 2.0. and steam doesn't have the Nevada terrain yet. maybe i need to ask in a different part of the forum if its possible to use Nevada with steam FC3?

thanks for the replies everyone. i'm new to DCS but used to play falconBMS a while ago and was unable to set that up on falcon too. anyhow, maybe i'll just play with putting my MFDs on a side monitor. i noticed this discussion is all specific to the A10. do all these tips also work with the f15?

please excuse the noobie question but i just want to confirm, i downloaded DCS world 1.5 already and like it but want to take the next step. FC3 looks awesome and its only about $20 on steam so if i buy that, do i need anything else? does it come with terrain? also, if i download DCS world 2.0, will the steam version of FC3 also work with that, including terrain? thanks and sorry if this is obvious to all but i'm still getting my head around the whole DCS thing also, the nevada terrain looks awesome, will FC3 run on that? thanks

is it possible to get one one monitor with the inside of the cockpit only and another mointor with the outside view and HUD overlaid only? thx

i read that numpad 5 key should do it but t doesn't work for me. i always start up too high in the cockpit and can't see the top of the HUD unless i physically crouch down. is there a way to recenter? thx steve

looks for a really cool free program called glovepie for voice commands for anything. its not supported any more but it works great, i love it

i have DCS 1.5 running with dk2 right now and its working but i'm way too low in my seat, i can't see anything out of the front. how can i adjust my eye height position? thx i figured it out, numpad 5 key to recenter

sorry if i'm been dumb here but i just download the 2.0 alpha and started to run it. it says i have so terrain loaded. did i forgot to download and/or install something? if i click on get terrain the only option is to buy some. is there no free terrain to get me started? thx
