  1. It could be the F/A-18E, because he also said "but based on our customers feedback, we are confident there will be a lot of very happy flight simmers."
  2. F-16/F-18 is great. But ED requested information about F-22 cockpit too. They've probably got a F-22 military contract, , so you never know. :pilotfly:
  3. Do you think it would be hard to find NFO's/Nav's to fly with in a 2-seater in multiplayer? I can imagine most people would want to be pilot. (not saying I'm not one of them)
  4. No, I think the F-18 is just as suitable if not more. Just look at the VRS Superbug for FSX, simply amazing.
  5. No purchase from me if it aint a F/A-18E or F-16C/D.
  6. Like this, the Macross VF-1?
  7. Because the single-seat variant is more popular in the flight sim community?
  8. Why only 4 options in the poll? I'd like to see a F-16 variant, but it's not there, so I voted for the F/A-18E instead.
  9. How is this compared with the Simped vario USB?
  10. Asking this for a friend who is thinking of buying: Does FC 2.0 still use Starforce? Is there a activation limit?
  11. Darn, next year as 2011? That's an awful long time to wait.
  12. Tthe nvidia DCS SLI profile has gone missing with the 190.62. And nHancer does not work with this driver, so no way to import the profile back from the previous driver.
  13. 4-way AFR. It works but the load balancing indicator bar barely fills.
  14. Why don't you try it yourself? It depends on what SLI rendering mode the profile is using. For example, even though there's an official profile for LockOn, SLI doesn't work becasue the rendering mode is set to Single GPU. If you have nHancer installed, you can check what mode the profile is using. If it's set to anything other than Single, SLI should work. Anyway, SLI works with DCS when I use my custom profile. I'll check with the official profile when I got home and report back.
  15. Yeah, I emailed them and they said my ordered was dispatched on the 27th, and since I live in Hong Kong so it's OK. No need to be alarmed like Fox said.
  16. I ordered it on the May 20th from TFC, but still haven't got it as of today June 2nd. What's going on? I paid with Paypal, btw.
  17. I accidentally found this link at GoGamer, US$149.9 and ships within 24 hours: http://www.gogamer.com/Microsoft-Sidewinder-Force-Feedback-2-Joystick-Joysticks_stcVVproductId27947627VVcatId444857VVviewprod.htm Not sure if they really have it, but if you want a brand new MSFF2, why not order it and find out.
  18. According to my previous experience, they usually use airmail, so it takes about a week.
  19. Ordered from TFC also. The shipping for out of Europe isn't that bad, it's actually cheaper than ordering from amazon UK.
  20. Really? I bought the LockOn CF manual from you guys (lockon.co.uk), and shipping is not that bad.
  21. Where else besides Amazon will carry the manual? I'm trying to place an order with amazon.com but it's currently listed as out of print/limited availability. That's kinda weird don't you think? I also searched Barnes & Noble but they don't seem to have it.
  22. Just an update. SLI seems to be working now with the 182.50 drivers, as the load balancing graph finally shows activity - though the bars are only about 30% filled.
  23. slowhand, does it happen for other games? And have you tried the latest 182.50 drivers? Also, I would not SLI the 8500GTs. You'd be better off with a single higher end card.
  24. SLI does work but the load balancing graph only fills up about 20-30% with 16x SLI AA which means the game isn't really optimized for it, and 4-way AFR seems to be the best rendering mode for DCS.
  25. Thanks guy for the explanation.
