So, the last time i actively followed this thread was during the winter holidays, in the last long days before the Mirage release. And not very much seems to have happened, as of pictures or dev-updates. I mean, is it realistic that the whole development is going on behind closed doors and that the release will just come like a thunderbolt (far stretched pun intended) from bright skies? Has this been done before? end of may, june and even july isn't after all that far away if we are to have any sneakpeaks of the development progress or am i missing something? I have read every page on this thread and you can say nothing but that there is a LOT of knowledge and potential feedback on development from the people here, that the developers potentially can get a lot from. With that being said, I very much long for this and hope that the tales are true!

Ah! i was quite sure that i have tested both ramp and parking, apparently not! That was the "problem", thx!

Well, then it could be a problem and not just some pre-mission configs i have missed... hmm... (it's all tested in missions via the mission editor if that needs to be clarified)

How do you even start cold with the mirage? it works fine with FC3 planes by just set TO afrom parking or ramp, but not with the mirage it seems.

Okay this thread seems to have become an open thread with all problems, so i start with the most basic problem of all... Where do i find the manual? I have the WIP-manual already downloaded, but i guess it's more than fair to switch to a more updated one by now! Thx! I really learn a lot from these threads. Lockon/DCS forums... where have you been all my life?

I have a similar view (though with the TrackIR) that it's too zoomed in and i can't zoom out any further at all which is irritating. Otherwise it seems pretty stabile so far... (have I completely missed the radar transmit/stby key in controls? would be nice to bind that to the HOTAS)

Have anyone any ideas of liveries that will come with the Mirage? Except for, standard squadrons of AdA, i know i have seen UAE desert livery, and also a (french?) Tiger meet... I remember playing FSX a long time ago, with a mirage with all kinds of nice liveries that maybe weren't that combat i the regular sense but for estetical reasons looked magnificent! Would be nice to have some variation on that point since they seemed to have taken away some liveries for several planes from lomac and FC1 (?).

THIS basically feels like christmas did 10-15 years ago. I mean, christmas today is nice and all. But I am wishing for a new kitchen knife set, a new toaster and a new electric water boiler... And none of that can't even fire 30mm cannons...

I did stay up for too long, doing extremely intense mirage searches and stuff... During the night i dreamt that it was released, newspapers and tv news were even highlightening it like the event of the day! took a while after waking up to realize that its soon, but not yet...
