    Free Falcon 5.0

  2. @Golfsierra- Instead of posting that in this thread, you should have created a new one. This thread is depressing enough as it is and now we gotta see it again....comeon. @shamandgg- grow up and give Kojack better respect without the gaming language crap. @frazer- I feel the exact same way! As for this thread. LET IT FADE.....LOCK IT.:lock:

    Free Falcon 5.0

    I think I cant wait.
  4. http://www.irconnect.com/noc/press/pages/news_releases.html?d=143660 http://www.northropgrumman.com/kc45/ I think it looks awsome! :D
  5. http://www.navy.mil/search/photolist.asp Type in F-14. ;) And here is my good buddy, Timmeh's photos.
  6. More like the ONLY "other" Air Force that still has them in their inventory......Man if only they chose the F-15A instead.

    flaming desert

Hmm, dont know. I really want this mod as well, for some Middle East fun. :)
  8. that is awsome! but is there any way to turn down the strength of the lights on the ground?
  9. Thats flipping awsome man, but one question, how bad does it kill your frames?
  10. SWEET. I know something thing you could do, if you dont mind me asking. On Naval bases they have flightline equipment stations. You think you could do that as a simple request?
  11. Looks like I better grab the camera and go down to Andrews AFB to see if they still have some there.
  12. No. Kato modelled their F/A-18's to have a working hook by using the refueling key as it and use the F-15 airframe. The hook works, however you cannot catch a wire so the same would apply with any other airframe, just the Su-33.
  13. The only screenshots I got are from the mass flyby...nothing else. :(
  14. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/bb738089.aspx Finally.:)
  15. Thats what I mean't, but thanks Hellcat. ;)
  16. Flaps and slats are Flaps and slats. In a real F-14, the flaps arn't the wing sweep like people have it modelled as in sims. The pilot controls the variable wing sweep system...its not automatic and doesn't work with the flaps. The F-14's wing sweep can be varied between 20° and 68° in flight. On deck or ground, the Cat has an "Over-sweep Mode" that bring the wings to 75°.
  17. I am looking for some screenshots people may have taken from VFAT 2007. I have the tracks and I could do it myself but I was wondering if anybody has some good ones, maybe even photoshopped ones. Just curious cause I am putting together a Photo Gallery on my website and VFAT is a section. :)
  18. More like sitting on the ground. The AIM-54 Phoenix can pull an excess number of G's, just not as much as your typical AIM-7 Sparrow or AIM-120 Amraam. The AIM-54C has greater range, tighter turning, better seeker and better warehead than the AIM-54A. You can pretty much say the AIM-54A sucks but hey, where did Iran's kill count come from? That must mean the C is better than most people suspect. ;)
  19. CARRIER, a 10-part series filmed aboard the USS Nimitz, is a character-driven immersion in the high-stakes world of a nuclear aircraft carrier. The programs follow a core group of film participants, from the admiral of the strike group to the fighter pilots to the youngest sailors, as they navigate personal conflicts around their jobs, families, faith, patriotism, love, the rites of passage and the war on terror. http://www.pbs.org/weta/carrier/ "A carrier is more than a navy base at sea, it is also a floating high school." :D I can't wait to see this!
  20. I'll say. I got to see one fly by twice at NAS Oceana all the way from Colorado, thats what I was told atleast. Really cool experience!
  21. Thought the only military base there was NAS Guam. Well, 1.2 billion in the hole.
  22. :megalol::thumbup:
  23. cause Putin wants to start something, and waiting for U.S. to respond.
  24. F/A-18's use LANTIRN pods for targetting. And without them, you are talking about going back to the age of the "guess-n-release" game. Let alone, not hitting something on target or false identification of an object will really bit a pilot in the ass if he kills it. So the answer is No, there will not be that ability. That ability is only for pre-lased targets set by GPS coordinates.
