Thanks for trying. I have the issues in the UH-1H default.lua. Same here, nothing changes by changing those values. It is still unbelievable to me, that ED is not able to offer an update proof solution for assigning the switches. I mean there are so many pilots out there having a fully setup with real switches. If they have to go over it every time an update occures, I would go nuts. And honestly I have no patience any more to try & error out everything. There is nothing said in the manual at all about that stuff. I invested more than 500€ in that software and the very one thing which should work is the key assignment. If there is anyone outside there who know how to configure that switch thingy for 3-way and 2-way Switches (on - off - on or on -off Switch) than it would be really appriciate it. I dont play the sim anymore because I cannot configure my 124 Switches. Thanks for reading. Flyco: great job on the explaining for the A-10c. Unfortunately the Huey is a bit different. Many thanks for that clear instruction. One question bothers me still: there are also buttons, which work like this: {down = device_commands.Button_3, up = device_commands.Button_3, cockpit_device_id = devices.SYS_CONTROLLER, value_down = 1.0, name = 'Caution Panel Test/Reset Switch Reset', category = 'Pedestal'}, When I now try to amend that by adding the value_up = 0.0 right after the value_down term nothing happens. Any idea how that works? I thought it is like that for a 3-way switch: Psitions: Up = 1.0 middle = 0.0 down = -1.0 But there are also values of 0.4, 0.6 etc. I think that is seen with rotaries switches. Can someone clearify that to me please coz I am still not able to programm my Button Boxes correctly. Many thanks in advance. Cheers Demon

That looks awsome...but I think it is not enuff just to have the enviromental engine. Thats just one part. The other part is the system engine which you need for believabel weapons and flightmodel. Never the less I love the outerra engine and I have played with it quite some time. Would be nice to have DCS on top of that graficsengine. just my 2 ct's Cheers Demon

hehe I have a backup of course. But it won't help me coz the structure ist again different from 1.2.7. Out of a reason which I don't know it doesnt work. Ermm, wait, I have 6 Inputdevices and each device has its own name. So how should I transfere those into the 1.2.8 folder? They changed the logic again. Allthough ED tries to get into controll of the all time changing profiles issue but I am really fed up with it and just wait until 1.4 where they solved that problem :joystick::joystick::smilewink: Cheers, Demon

Hi all, honestly...that sucks. I do not have the time to reconfigure my whole profile over and over and over again after each patch. Is it so hard to make it at least a bit userfriendly? I mean we have to suffer a lot in DCS and we are more or less eating everything they throw in, but that is really starting to stress me out. I have over 124 buttons and switches to reconfigure and I just do not have the time for that. What about my kindly asked question on that piece of software shown in this thread? That really looks like a good tool. But why do we, the community, have to develop such a tool? I love DCS but that is taking way too much of my energy and time. Hey, that looks realy what I am looking for. I hate it when I have to manually change the lua, just to find the combos to make a switch on off and not switch it twice to bring it back in the off position. This is still the case in 1.2.7 latest release also with the mig 29. So we have that bug with the F-15 and the Mig 29. Can somone confirm that? Thanks Demon

Hi, cannot agree to your statement. I am having problems with my slew controller as well and the support is excelent. I get answeres per mail within 40 mins. But this is the german support team. Maybe it differs from other countries. As it seems I am having a controller board issue. Bad thing is, no guarantee anymore because I bought it as a used one. So checking what it can be. did you check that HDR is on? if its off than you won't see smoke... Hope that helps Cheers, Demon

What he says is that when HDR is set to OFF than the smoke is invisible. When you have HDR set to ON than it is visible. cheers Demon

Maybe I should uave menrioned that this happens with the F-15 C. And im mission editor while changing the color of a trigger zone the color gets transparent. Only after hide and unhide the objekt the right color shows again. Cheers Demon

Quick hug report from 1.2.7 OB: after landing we get wing vapor above 50kts. Below they are gone. I mentioned that already somewhere but was not sure if it had be seen. Cheers Demon
