  1. I don't have the issue then and I fly the 109 several times a week. Only if I take off with 100%. I usually fly with 70-90%. Based on your power settings it shouldn't nose up the way you describe, maybe a little but not drastic.
  2. Do you have 100% fuel? The makes the plane tail heavy and will cause the nose to rise even with full nose down trim. The effect will go away with a bit less fuel.

  4. For a few months now in the 109, hits to the radiators create a non-visible leak that leads to overheating within about 5-10 minutes and then engine seizure. I have had this happen several times. Prop pitch has become more durable but frequently goes out and I have also lost the gunsight several times as well. As for the other planes I have plenty of video of player flown 51s and spits taking hit after hit, spewing smoke and still maneuvering and fighting as if not damaged. The damage model for all the planes needs to be redone and is being redone.
  5. Stats were not recorded at all for me today.
  6. Guess somebody will have to post a video. I wasn't recording but maybe the other pilot with me did.
  7. This! This is another way to put what has been said several times.
  8. Yo-Yo I'm not saying the spit lost 20, 40, or 60% of a wing. I'm saying 95-100% of the wing was missing and it was flying level and was even able to make a left turn and went back to level flight.
  9. I'm aware of Default's video and it is highly questionable if a plane could fly with two equally damaged though short wings, but I have never lost an entire wing to the root and been able to fly. That seems completely out of the realm of possibility.
  10. There's a difference between flying with part of the wing missing and flying with only one wing. The first poster said he lost the wing to the root. I witnessed a spit the other day completely lose its right wing, not a partial loss but complete, and still had controlled flight. In the 109 when I lose an entire wing it always leads to an uncontrollable roll to the ground.
  11. This is a bug on all servers and it's been reported. I've experienced it for about a month or so on the Burning Skies sever and recently had the same issue on this one as well. The comm issue seems to be fixed for me since the last update when the spit came out.
  12. Unfortunately my first 4 kills were vs su-27s until I did the update :p
  13. For several weeks I have been unable to rearm the 109 after a sortie. When requesting a rearm/refuel I get a "copy" for the fuel but an "unable to comply" for the ammo. The ammo does not get replenished. I have never had problems before this and have tried different MP servers and even placed the plane back in it's starting position with everything turned off. I saw a couple players in the game chat having the same issue. I have not tried this with other aircraft or in single player so I'm unsure if it's isolated to the 109 in MP.
  14. I may swing on by later :)
  15. There might not be a visible leak but the they appear to empty as wing hits lead to engine overheats within a few minutes. I noticed this a couple patches ago.
  16. I've noticed this issue for almost a year but never reported it. When you refuel, the MW50 does not get refilled. Eventually it will run out no matter how many ties you repair/refuel. Even though you can get a new plane, some players like to fly in the same plane as long as possible and it should be fixed.
  17. K is an abbreviation in the US that stands for thousand. So 25k would be 25 thousand.
  18. And what did I say in my statement you quoted indicate I didn't understand that. I was being quite literal with him as he said you'd hit your head if upside down. Even though the g forces would have held him in his seat the pilot was briefly upside down each time. So the only time you'd be upside down with no counteracting g forces would be inverted level flight, or maybe a real slow aileron roll, which would probably be unlikely in combat. So you wouldn't hit your head whenever upside down, if at all. Yeah it's a tight cockpit but considering how many 109 pilots we successful in this aircraft I doubt that even the possibility of hitting their head was an issue. Is there any documentation of this being a complaint of the axis pilots while upside down?
  19. He completes three rolls (6:17, 8:20, 11:00) and from what I see he is upside down on all three. I understand G forces but you said you'd hit your head if upside down and he was just that. Now if you mean flying inverted then there would be no forces (other than the seatbelt) to help hold him in the seat. Of course it would be unlikely that a ww2 pilot in this plane would fly for more that a short period inverted. So who cares if he might or might not have bumped his noggin on a rare occasion. Yes it was a cramped cockpit compared to the 51 or 190 but the pilots were still able to fly effectively.
  20. This guy doesn't hit his head while upside down. He also seems to be able to move around enough to see behind him as well.
  21. ED already said they are going to address the P-51 so I'm assuming you will eventually get what you want. Update to the actual topic: I've gotten used to the changes to the 109 and pretty much fly the way I did before. It still seems like the slats are not working, but maybe that's in my head.
  22. I went back and re-watched it and I was mistaken. The left elevator was still there but half of the stabilizer in front of it was gone. The 51 maneuvered well for a time before I eventually got him. :smilewink:
  23. Didn't notice any issues with mw50 and I didn't overheat. I felt the energy retention was fine. Other than being wobbly and the wing drops the plane still performed mostly as before. Before adding curve it felt like it could roll better and even with the wing stalls I could still out turn a good turning 51 pilot. My biggest complaint was how I was bouncing all over which made lining up the guns difficult. I of course started to adjust and my aim got better. If this is permanent then it will take a lot of new muscle memory to get back to smooth flying. Watch my stream from last night to see what I mean. I notice something was wrong shorty after my first takeoff. I thought the gear or flaps were still down. :smilewink:
  24. I don't like using a curve but it helped. I didn't play the Il-2 series that much so I can't compare that. The only vid I have is from last night and I handled it with much cursing and complaints. As pointed out in another thread the slats are not, at least visually, deploying. I was having significant left wing drop as if I was stalling it so maybe they were not physically deploying either.
