  2. I have over 20 years experience in DCS and never-ever come to forum write something but as we can see we should, because circus came. I would like to describe some sh*t what is happening now in DCS and will focus on REDFOR planes vs BLUEFOR in multiplayer PvP. Guys listen, WTF are you doing? I know that F1x planes are the most $$$$ income for you, over 70% of players multiplayer plays on BLUEFOR or if REDFOR only some is using other planes than F1x. Why? Because developpers have forgotten completely abut REDFOR planes, utdates of existing once, you push expensive only modules to be the best in fight. You produce more and more F1x planes updating dammed ammrams but what you did for REDFOR? JF-17. Yeah, nice plane, insta bought it to have something beter to fight against F1x planes. NATO palnes were falling from the sky like an broken birds, but my joy was not far so long. Then wave of cry from bluefor pilots came that dammed SD10 is not real wtf. etc. You nerfed JF-17 several times. Ok my skill is enough good to life with it, F1x are still falling down :). But when you come to fly bluefor 120B and c5 makes me so f angry. They are so OP in comparison to other redfor stuff. Yeah you will write, ooo go f yourself AMRAAM is the most real missile and it should be like that! Really? What about real of R77? It should has ~80km range on head to head aspect as we can read on many internet sites. What is range R77 in DCS? 41km. Fun. Lets come back to the history of FC series module. Both F15 and Su27 were made as comparable fighters. In that time AMRAAM 120B was comparable with R77. After 15 year now we have something like that: TEST: Both planes FL330 V~1000km/h head to head aspect F15 is able to launch AIM120B from 67 km F15 is able to launch AIM120C from 75 km Su27 is able to launch R27ER from 55 km FOX1!!!!!!! very sensitive on notch. Lock break and missile is trash. Su27 is able to launch R27ER from 40 km Fox3 40 km? Are you kidding me? I know that it may be annoying when you bought F18 for ~70$ and you will got shoot down by Su27 or J-11 for 10$. I will mention also about chaff resistance. AIM does not care about chaffs, you have to manurer to bleed kinematic energy to defeat missile. R77? It loves chaffs. Dive simple notch + chaff and you can forgot about R77. Dammed rus planes are not that bad in reality, missiles to. Why are you pushing F1x and AIMs to be the best at all cost? Second thing is nerf of IRST/ET on RUS site, this step is ridiculous. Somebody somewhere on reddit has found old instruction for Su27, and showed that IR sensor of this plane was very sensitive, it could catch hot head to head aspect from 80km without afterburner. What do we have now? Head to head aspect on afterburner IRST see target from ~55km, wow, afterburner off head to head 12km, wow, really? Range of R27ET 25km, hmm, but you can not lock F1x from 25km head to head afterburner off. When I was playing on red site in su27 J-11, I used ET as the missile of one hope. R77 and trash ER were <profanity> long time before when you started to upgrade AMRAAMS. But if you were smart, you could life only with ETs. It required a lot of skill, flying platforms with AIMs is like walk in the park. What we have now in comparison to bluefor (multiplayer pvp aspect): - <profanity>y outdated Su27, 33, J-11 (I feel sorry for new players who bought those planes or FC3) - Outdated not real R77 performance - We have JF-17 one plane which is able to fight against ammrams platforms - We have F14 which is very annoying for redfor, redfor does not have comparable plane which would be able to flight on such a long distance. WHY?! Why we do not have Mig 31 Foxbat? You will say, it is to new .... what? First flight in 1975. It could carry R40 with 280 km RANGE!!!! Ah too new? It has been constructed in 1985, what about amraams c5...is not it from 1996? Is not it to new? Do you know what is the date of production R77 1982. So great, readfor players are fighting with outdated weapons from 80's without comparable plane to F14, and against amramms from late 90's. Bravo I fly on both sides red or blue and have a lot of experience and I will write this to redfor folks. I feels sorry that we have such a outdated stuff, and devs has forgotten about us. Be brave and fight on forums about our equipment like bluefor players do.
  3. If they have afterburner ON! So yes you can shoot down those noobs. If afterburner is OFF you will be able to pick up target from 12 km. Many players do not understand many things and experience what they have comes from Counter Strike server like Growling. More inteligent players in bluefor like me and some others do not use afterburner when 29 is on RWR, so we block long shots of ET up to 12 km. And second thing bluefor pilot must be an idiot to allow FC3 planes come in closer than 15km. You compare A10C sturm plane to king of the airspace fighters? Man we are talking about FIGHTERS!!!! MOREOVER: Fighter head to head FL330 V~1000km/h F15 can launch AIM120B from 67km (fox3) F15 can launch AIM120C from 75km (fox3) Su27 can launch R27ER from 55KM (fox1) Su27 can launch R77 from 40KM (fox3) What a adventage!!!! On many sites you can read that R77 has 80km range, here ~40 about what realism we are talking about? Bluefor planes are overpowered and they are pushing by the devs to be the best.
  4. ET/IRST in flankers nerfed what makes the plane useles now. IF enemies afterburner is off you can pick up object from ~10km when the missile ET has 25km range, so the plane sensor is worse and in many cases you will not use whole potential of ET, ET that is last and one hope for redfor low fidelity plane pilots. And now try to come closer to Fx planes on 10 km, AIMxx will eat you 10 times . But now finaly we have pay to win balance, you pay 10$ for su27 you get <profanity>y plane, pay 80$ and you can be king of the airspace. Many low skilled players cried too much that they bought platform for teens of $ and got raped by Su27 for 10 $. It is starting to be pay to win game.

I am an big fun of Russian planes, and discovered that after big nerf of IR/ET detector Su27, Mig 29, and SU33 is turbo useless and not worth of buy to fight on DDCS or other servers where you have to fight against SARH bs ARH. Before Su27 was good able to fight against ARH missiles and planes, by having posibility to launch ET missile. Now you can pick up ET target from ~10-13km when range of missile is 25 km, WTF? ET missile in Russian palnes was THE HOPE fire and forget missile, this was the missile what you could kill modern fighters. ER and R you can put in to your shoes when you have to keep lock on target when enemy launched already fox 3 to you and he is escaping. Flaming Cliffs 3 is not worth to buy any more. It is better to buy F15, F16, F18. Russian planes are outdated and useless.
  6. Problem still exists. I have ASUS 2070 STRIX super with 8GB VRAM. FPS lock to max 40 when playing DCS. In this configuration GPU usage is ~75%. After playing 30 minutes memory usage goes to max VRAM of the card (8GB) then GPU usage goes to 100% what causes FPS drop up to 20. Temperatures GPU max 55C.
  7. Hi all. Since last patch 2.7 my graphic card gets problems with DCS. (Asus strix 2070 super 8GB). Everything is nice and stable without FPS drop until VRAM usage reach 100% then stuttering comes with decent FPS drops.
  8. Another thing is that the bluefor does not have any EWR what could work as AWACS, so they need to use "combined joint task forces" to get 1L13 & 55G6 available on theirs side. Unfortunately the data link from those EWRs does not work both for blue and redfor.
  9. Thanks but I play sometimes for Growling but do not like it much, there is not so much tactics but mess in the air. You can meet me on DDCS more often because it is more flexible, really dynamic war, fight for town, building strongholds, bases, just like arma but without infantry. It is more tactical server. E-3 awacs does not solve the problem for DDCS where we use grouded EWRs as I described ealier. What about datalink from EWR? What about EWRs on red side what we use them in DDCS? Problem exist DorianR666 the problem exist and it is frustrating.
  10. Deka's job is to deliver working plane on the battle. It is not working properly then remove it from redfor team or set informations on websites were you can buy the plane that this module is not working correctly for red and is useless in PVP for red team.
  11. Not only for me. It is for us all who are the heroes and fly on the red side. To be honest there is no good plane on red side. And again if we paid for the plane which is on redside and somebody want to use it in redside so it should work in red too. IF the devs decision is to have broken data link in red so they should completely remove this plane from redfor list. The biggest DCS problem for what I hate this game is covering unbalance in the game by real world, real systems etc. etc. So they produce one after another DLC for bluefor what makes redfor unplayable more and more, but funny thing is that when JF was in bata I was reading somewhere that this plane will be for redfor too, so it will balance the game a bit and ppl were happy. Now there is no any information on steam or drv side that this plane is broken for red and quite useless in PVP due to not working datalink. To be honest I would not buy this plane if I know that important system for red side is broken. I was jumping on forums to read some about JF17 and datalink for red. Many players are frustrated too, because to be honest there is no good plane for redfor.

  13. What about game balancing? Many servers use JF just to balance forces. For example I bought JF only because to have modern jet to fly in REDFOR and destroy dammed modern complex F15-16-18 which are raping REDs as hell. It is hell to use outdated rus jets and play against modern jets with ARH missiles. That is why the blue side is the most populated on multiplayer. And now the only one hope JF17 has destroyed data link. Nice
  14. Hello. I have strange behaviour with INRNG HUD notification. Sometimes it does not want to display INRNG notification sometimes it comes after destroying the target. I have tested it with ctrl+o lasser on/off, crate the DSG mark point via WMD7 on target to get proper TRG COORD on right MFD. Sometimes it it is working sometimes not, does not matter if your are close to TGT or far, high or low. Launched missile tracks the vehicle but no information about if I am INRNG or not. Can someone check it and confirm?
  15. So lets switch data link working only to the red side - simple. Blue team has enough advantage in planes, F15, 16, 18 .... What comparable plane for red team?

Anyway it would be 1000 times better if devs would fix this dammed data link problem as fast as possible instead to force on players to work around it in strange ways. Data link is rather important tool in plane especially in PVP fights, ppl paid for working aircraft and not for to be smashed down by Fxx blue planes coz theirs data link is working and your not.
  17. I would if I could. Your proposition solves the problem for single player playing but not for a multiplayer where I used to play. I can not change AWACS for E-3 because I am not the admin of any server. I was talking to some admins of servers with very complicated dynamic mission and I was told that changing the setup of coalition will make a lot of work with redefining mission, vehicles and .lua scripts but I will mention that missions for multiplayer are made mainly with default coalition setup what blocks you to use E-3 AWACS for RED. Second very important note that must be mentioned are EWRs 1L13 and 55G6 for RED what gives you informations as AWACS too. Unfortunately here datalink for JF-17 does not work too and those vehicles are of course connected to the red side by coalition setup in mission what can not be edited even by admins. Moreover RED players, for example on DDCS server, build (by transporting the containers) EWR stations more often than call for AWACS, because it is simply easier to defend for RED and keep it more under control and safe. When we are going to the conclusion that those very complicated server missions, coalition setups, not working AWACS and of course EWRs, makes JF-17 useless what is very very sad, because this plane is an good tool to balance the forces RED-BLUE in multiplayer, but when something is working for BLUE and not working for RED we can not discus about game balance any more. I hope that you understood my problem and point of view, if not please play on red side more often and fight with outdated RD planes against modern jets in BLUE (F18 baned for reds) Greetings
  18. Datalink for RED JF10 broken too :(. Bluefor can not have to difficult so they nerf redfor as much as they can hahaha - irony. Anyway do you have problems with datalink in JF17 REDFOR?

At the beginning I would like to mention that I fly mainly for outdated and forgotten by devs, REDFOR side, where fighting against modern BLUEFOR fly-by-wire Fxx's requires special tactics and ideas. Tactics of BLUEFOR with theirs ARH missiles is simple as hummer building. Therefore I have bought JF-17 for redfor, to have good modern complex plane with good ARH missiles to fight mainly against Fxx planes. Unfortunately I have discovered that DATALINK for REDFOR does not work and one year passed and we still do not have working datalink for REDFOR side. If it would happen for bluefor I would not be angry. Any informations when it will be fixed? BLUEFOR planes still have advantage over RED ... even in datalink ... because for bluefor datalink is working for red it is not. One year passed and still nothing I have tested datalink today once again for red and blue. Blue it is ok Red it is not ok. Why the BLUEFOR has always advantage over RED?

Everything works nice, I can create user waypoint, assembly flight plan but I can not save flight planes. So when I will die and have to take off again I have to create waypoints and assembly flight plan once again. In description of the addon I read that device can store 1000 waypoits and 19 flight planes (I do not remember exact numbers). It seems that device do not save waypoints and flight plans for the next flights

  22. So maybe it is something with time counter because command mist.respawnGroup('Spawnable', 10) did not work but mist.respawnGroup('Spawnable', true) is ok. Can you check if does it work for you, I mean time, mist.respawnGroup('xxx', 10)
  23. Thank for fast answer. I had: mist.respawnGroup('Spawnable', 10) I have subsitude 10 for ture and it is working fine now. So mist.respawnGroup('Spawnable', true) is correct. What does 10 mean? 10 minutes? I remember that it was 10 sec in the past. Thank you for help
  24. Hello. It seems that "mist.respawnGroup" does not assign tasks after group is respawned. In otehr words, respawn command works (ground objects), objects can respawn but they will not start to follow the rute. It is on mist_4_3_74.lua
