  1. That one works. Thanks :):)
  2. The BFTQ link is down. Could you post a new link please, I would really like to watch this playlist. Many thanks.
  3. Thanks for the reply! That makes sense. I'll wait to purchase the missions there then. Sent from my OnePlus Two using Tapatalk
  4. I have been wanting to purchase these missions for a long time, however, on their website it says that they are no longer for sale. Anyone know what's up?
  5. Have you linked the key to your ED account?
  6. I really like my OP2. I don't think I'll be switching to the OP3 when it comes out as I've only had my OP2 for 3 months...
  7. I agree with you, I think that the virtual head is too forward; I use TrackIR so I don't notice the height too much. I remember seeing a mod somewhere which changes the position to a supposedly more realistic position but I'm on my phone to won't be able to link it. I would like to find some more info on this matter. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  8. I think I'll stick with my 970, it's not like anyone will buy it if I put it on eBay. Sent from my ONE A2003 using Tapatalk
  9. :thumbup:Thank you! Now I don't have to search for tutorials.
  10. A secondary thought; Perhaps aim to get the whole series to last more or less the same amount of time it would take to actually read the manual? Not sure how viable this without making the videos impossible to follow.
  11. Sounds like a great idea! Perhaps focus on the areas of the A-10 that haven't had the same amount of coverage on YouTube then move on to the more popular stuff. When I started learning, I found a lot of videos for the A-10 start-up but not so many in depth tutorials on the TAD for example. Good Luck!:thumbup:
  12. Wow! I just looked at your pics from last year; your 20/20 pit looks really nice
  13. Yes, you are correct but when compared to using wood, the quality of the final product depends on the skill of the person making it and the tools that are available to him/her. With these aluminium profiles I can get them cut to size, which means that I only have to drill some holes for the adjustable fittings and screw the whole thing together. I'm not as practically skilled as some people who build sim pits and I don't want to waste material so this seems like a decent solution my problem.
  14. I also just found this YouTube tutorial: [ame] [/ame]
  15. I stumbled across this piece of software while looking for CAD drawings for the 80/20 aluminium profiles as I didn't want to spend the time modelling my own profiles and fittings in my preferred CAD package (AutoDesk Inventor). Later on in the year I will be building my own pit out of similar aluminium profiles so I thought I would get designing ASAP. Anyway, I though I would share this piece of software on the ED forums as I'm sure many people would like to build their own pit one day and this software might be useful. 80/20 aluminium is used by Monstertech for their HOTAS table mount product The frame designer software LINK: http://www.framexpert.com/products/framedesigner/
  16. At least this start-up has employees who seem to know what they are doing and have something to show for it. Even if Shaper Tools does cease to exist I'm sure the larger tool manufacturers like Makita, Bosch and possibly Festool will try something similar in the near future. I can see this product being used by pitbuilders and hobbyists alike in addition to schools and contractors as a cheaper and smaller alternative to CNC routers. This emerging market is very interesting but unfortunately as with most emerging technologies, it will take a long time for the price to come down. :(
  17. What a great idea! It acts more like digital jig than a conventional CNC router. These smart tools are the future but I'm sure they won't be cheap. Thanks for sharing!
  18. In one of the Gazelle videos released by Polychop Simulations, Spiderpig had a trackball on his knee. This meant that he didn't have to take off the DK2 to find his mouse.
  19. Isn't there a HD TGP mod. Not sure what it actually does but I remember seeing it on the forums somewhere.
