Hello everyone, when i was trying to load into a MP-Match the game disconnected me and i heard a BIOS beep tone, it was a short low and a short high tone. Maybe this will help finding the memory leak issue. I have increased the size of my Pagefile to 32 GB on my SSD to be able to run DCS, maybe thats part of the problem. Regards, Rainbowgeorge

I agree, that it should be added, but there is clear evidence that this can be done without a lot of modifications. The GROM however cant be used with that Radar. It would be closer to reality to remove the GROM and add R73s

Alright, i have tried out something and now i can join. I have increased my pagefile on my secondary drive to 32 (!!!!!!!) Gigabytes. When i load into MP it uses all of my real RAM (16GB) PLUS another 16 GB of that simulated RAM I can play now but this ammount of memory usage is way too much.....

Changed Terrain to low, and also decreased the preload range and visibility. Does not help at all. My Rig: Intel I7-2600K @3.4 GHz Nvidia GTX 970 16GB DDR3 RAM DCS runs on SSD

Same for me, when i join MP my memory goes up to 16GB and the game crashes

Thank you LN for your support. I have a question though, is the stable update released yet? When i launch dcs i always get my first launch notification and i dont know if the game will update by itself. Thank you.

I agree on one side, that the existing modules need more content, but on the other side i see a lack of OPFOR planes. Especially with the upcoming planes, like the F/A-18 and F-14 There only is one Russian full fidelity fighter, the MiG-21, and it sadly has limited capabilities against 4th gen. And even if they arent developing a MiG-23 right now, maybe it could be a long term goal, but thats only speculation. :)

The 21 already is in a good state. In my opinion its the most interesting Aircraft in DCS at the moment. Its hard to master, but a joy to fly. It could use some polish, but it could be much worse, i remember the times when the radar was tilted upwards. They would get my money ASAP if theyd do a LANCER, or any pimped version of the MiG. I dont know how much of the Avionics code could be used for a MiG23 for example. I really hope that you guys will be able to stabilize your financial situation. Good Luck!

For me it seems like the R3S is currently outperforming the modernized versions in every regard. The range is bigger, the seeker is more sensitive and the maneuverability is much better. Has anybody else noticed this? Have a nice day!

Why not? The game lacks a capable Russian fighter. There are only the FC3 models and the Mig-21. a MiG-25PD or even a MiG-23 would definatly change what will be flown in MP. Especially for Servers like Buddyspike those would be beneficial. And i know a lot of people that buy modules just because of that server, for example the Mi-8, because on any other server its not that useful.

Hey guys, i want to switch from the Steam to the standalone version. I think i can use the game keys of my plane there aswell right? I also want to know how i can save my controls. Just save the DCS folder in "saved games"? Thank you for your help.

Did the same, except that i dont have mods or the beta . my guess is that when you start 1 SP mission it breaks

Same thing for me. After i reinstalled the game i could join MP just like always, but when ive tried something in SP the game crashed, and after that i cannot join MP anymore..

I have reported the bug. I hope that they can fix it, it would give the 21 a chance against amraams in Multiplayer
