    Hello

    Long time I did not use this however, I have the manual and memento of the actual NADIR which I attach here . However it is in French (Google lens can help to translate, I just check it works great)
    See page 34 35 iof the manual on how to deal with coordinates systems, and page 53 to modify/enter coordinates for a BUT in UTM

    Hope this helps

    nadir crouzet_EAALAT.pdf 176.55 kB · 7 downloads NadirManuel.pdf 18.08 MB · 6 downloads

    trying to under stand the manuals. learning that BUT means way point.. and géographiques means LAT LONG....

  2. 2025... i am interested to FAC-A with the Gazelle...

    can someone list steps to achieve MGRS coordinates to pass on to someone ready to deliver bombs?

    if there is a clearer explanation on setting up a NADIR waypoint using a MGRS coordinate... that would be helpful also..

    NADIR info in NADIR manual is limited..

    You can convert Lat Long Decimal to DDMMSS.SS

    N 25º 13.074

    E 54º 13.906

    then take the 3 last digits and multiply for 0.06 and you have DDMMSS.SS

    N 25º 13' 04.44"

    E 54º 13' 54.36"

    with DDMMSS.SS JDAMS are extremly precise

    have to put this to practice!

    G'day Hannibal,
    So many thanks to your findings, I have been catching up on much lost time. It is such a relief to hook up without fear of the rig breaking shakes. I have just been flying the Washington with all sorts of stupid alignments for the shot, and it all works good.

    I understand that the Forrestal will be different because that is a HeatBlur product, but I don't understand why 3 out of the 5 ED carriers are broken. From a programmers point of view they should all be accessing the same code? If the code is supposed to be the same for all, then it is a simple matter of comparing code and looking for the differences. I am sure it will be a matter of a wrong character typed in, or missing in the code, somewhere when integrating it into the last 3 carrier's.

    So I believe at this point in time for us motion rig users that use surge, the following carriers are broken and out of bounds until fixed.

    CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt
    CVN-74 John C Stennis
    CVN-75 Harry S. Truman

     😞

    I have included a graph of a good working cat shot with surge and nose gear suspension deflection. The surge has been blunted with a 200hz notch filter in the export.lua in my futile attempt to remove the shakes. I can take it out now and get a crisper launch profile.

    Screenshot 2025-04-10 194434.jpg

    trying to see what you are showing us here..

    which carrier is depicted in your telemetry viewer?

    share us video of your rig with a desirable cat shot!

    so  CVN-71 Theodore Roosevelt, CVN-74 John C Stennis, CVN-75 Harry S. Truman  needs investigating on the surge export!

    though i hope to test my highly filtered profile for these problematic carriers...

    it also sends the test command to the Sound Module
    as it does nothing it looks like there is no interaction between SimShaker for Aviators and Sound Module
    as it's conducted via network protocol I would suspect a firewall software blocking the packets sent by SimShaker for Aviators

    Is the interaction something that the logger will log?

  6. i have uninstalled Simhub.

    and u also reinstalled Simshaker

    i can NOT get telemetry so that effects run on simshaker..

    i see the verbose log is showing good activity on Aviators, how ever NOTHING is happening in sound module. (yes correct sound card is select, and test works)

    looked at my log file but not helping...

    repaired the export lua, with no success

    my export lua contains

    local SimShakerlfs=require('lfs'); dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..'Scripts/SimShaker.lua')
    dofile(SimShakerlfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]])
    pcall(function() local dcsSr=require('lfs');dofile(dcsSr.writedir()..[[Mods\Services\DCS-SRS\Scripts\DCS-SimpleRadioStandalone.lua]]); end,nil)

    dofile(lfs.writedir()..[[Scripts\SimShaker-export-core\ExportCore.lua]])

    log.log

  7. would appreicate anything that is agile and has anti tank capability , plus sensors that can store target location...and A-A capability.

    i love the apache, just wish it was more agile!

    much need fast & pew pew heli needed!

    Did you test under the same conditions?

    Wind, heading, speed…

    Did you simply switch out the carrier in ME? Or have multiple Carriers in one file or even multiple miz files?

    i just loaded all the carriers in one file.. so same conditions

    what kind of rig do u have and what software to u pull telemetry from? @Bojanglez

    Did Lincoln and Washington not have any? Or just “not wild” oscillations?

    on the surge side of things for lincoln and washington, it seem fine to me. i didnt get the continuing spikes of telemetry when the tomcat was hooking up.

    the carriers that had the continuing spikes basically shook the motion platform violently.

    in my demo video, i was in the washington, i shot off the cat no major problems.

    when i went back to tune my profile, when i tried to catapult off the roosevelt, my motion platform was shaking violently, even disconnecting usb ports from my joysticks

    so this past weekend i had some time to tune.

    so above post was the result of my findings.

    i also had to configure my profile with filters on surge (originally my filters were for sway, since from beginning, i always have a violent studder when starting to move the tomcat and needed spike filters to minimize the studder)

    if you are a mover user, i found that using MALP nested in EMALP does a descent job to minimize the Surge oscillations, and still get catapult effect (at least via  graphic viewer), i hope to test out my profile next time around on the platform.

  10. As a motion platform enthusiast, i have a hexapod powered by FlyPT Mover to read data from DCS

    I find Mover easier to work with an customizable so that i am able to make profiles for any DCS aircraft, each DCS aircraft which seemingly has its own characteristics.

    unfortunately Mover is outdated, and not all telemetry is utilized, especially Stall State and RPM

    after investigation and trial and error to understand the lua functions, i was able to get RPM data and send it to Canopy data input that mover has hardcoded.

    By swapping Stall% for RPM%, in the lua hook file, i now am able to do something with RPM.. which now allows me to make motion by RPM.

    (RPM% more use full than Stall%)

    it is finally nice to throttle up, and have the telemetry shake up the platform as if i am powering up high power jet engines!!
