You do need BS1 for autoupdates? That is really interesting as I didn't and I use the same installation since the autoupdater was introduced, so quite a few updates were applied... Again: There is no need to keep BS1 installed. If you like to keep it installed, for whatever reason one might imagine, install it on a real HDD instead your SSD´, as already stated by others.

You are aware that you can deinstall BS1 after BS2 is installed? There is no need to keep it. There is no real gain in keeping it regarding precious BS1 activations. I have to go to this procedure to. While I'd love to have a full BS2 key (didn't thought my purchase through) it is about 5 minutes each BS2-Upgrade installation needs more (excluding the download). I can post faster, but only barely :-)

Das ganze ist bei einer Standardinstallation von Windows 7 unter C:\users\{username}\saved games\dcs ...und so weiter. oder unter C:\Benutzer\{benutzerName}\Gespeicherte Spiele\DCS ...und so weiter. Die Bibliotheken sind eine andere Geschichte...

That is the correct link. You need DCS: World (which is free) and the module. Install World first and the module afterwards. Start, activate and have fun...

Not that it helps contacting the tower but AFAIR the UHF radio works with battery power (don't know if inverter on is required) and only the VHF radios require any generator or ground power. So, using TARS, you could communicate with your flight prior APU start.

No tester can acknowledge this issue?

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunetaly the time added to the DTOT is dependant of the star time of the CDU (look like the time when the CDU finishes its BIT +30sec are added to the DTOT). So, it is not really possible to anticipate the offset and modifiy the WPs in the editor accordingly. Adding all WPs manually in the CDU is not an real option either. And the DTOT-Offset in the GPS/Time settings do not allow negative values. Looks like this is a annoying little bug. Bummer. I'd love to hear that a tester can confirm this behaviour and report this issue (if not done already).

Hello all, currently I'm trying to create missions which require the pilot to reach/attack their target at a defined time. To do so, I set an appropriate time including the checkbox for each waypoint in the editor. The first waypoint gets, for example, 09:15:00 when the mission start is 09:00:00. When I start the mission the calculation seems to be off a couple of minutes. I did not have time to do extensive tests yet, but it seems that the DTOT in the plane for each waypoint is calculated using the CDU start as reference and not the mission start time like the editor does. Am I doing something wrong here? Or is this intended behaviour? If so, what exactly is the behaviour? Or is this simply a bug? PS: I vaguely remember that something like this was discussed earlier (during the public beta?) but I did not find the thread so here's a new one :)

Bei der Kurve solltest du aufpassen und nicht zu extreme Werte wählen. Alles was du um die Neutralstellung an Auflösung gewinnst verlierst du ja in den Randbereichen. Sprich, wenn du etwas am Stick ziehst wird die Schwelle zwischen enger Kurve und Stall mit starker Kurve schnell sehr klein.

Kümmer dich am Besten gar nicht um Aktivierungen. Die Module bleiben auch beim Deinstallieren aktiviert. Dein Plan würde also funktionieren und ist auch komplett.

While standing on the ramp the flaps are fully extended because no hydraulic pressure is available to hold them up. During the engine start the hydraulic pressure rises and the flaps will move to the position of the flap selector switch. In short, this is intended and correct. You should switch the flap selector to the actual position of the flaps prior engine start in order to avoid unwanted movement and set the flaps to the desired position later.

You should keep the installation of Blackshark 1 until you installed Blackshark 2 as the upgrade installer looks for an installed and activated version of BS1. And make sure you download the upgrade version of BS2.

You probably should install Blackshark 1 not Blackshark 2 v1.1. before you ty to install the upgrade version. Yes, AFAIK both buttons have exactly the same functionality. So you can remap one of those without an issues.

DCS World kostenlos? Ja. Deutsche Version vergessen? DCS World und entsprechende Module sind noch im Beta-Satdium; übersetzte (also auch die Deutsche) Versionen gibt es noch nicht...

Danke für die Info. Das hätte ich ähnlich eingestuft. Gut zu wissen. Ich versuche ja schon immer möglichst exakt zu fliegen; da ist es schon nervig, wenn die alte Gurke mir plötzlich koordiniertes Kurven abverlangt. Da fordert mich die Mustang schon gut genug :-)

Für mich persöhnlich sind die gemeldeten SAS-Probleme ja ein KO...
