I'm glad you enjoyed the mission! The radios used to work immediately but DCS is constantly changing and things don't always work as they should. Opening a mission in the editor and then saving it sort of updates it to the current DCS version so that can sometimes fix things.

Your aircraft has ruptured fuel lines running from the fuselage and drop tanks. They need to be replaced and new ones are on order, but have not arrived yet. Those tanks cannot be used until you get the new lines installed. Meanwhile, the war continues and we have no spare aircraft. You will have plenty of fuel in the wing tanks to get across the channel and back to accomplish your mission. Now, get back up there- your country needs you!

I finally dusted off the old P-51 and joined the Blue Nosed Bastards. Great campaign! Very nicely done, good job.

It should, but I haven't installed 2.5 yet. Waiting for it to get sorted out a bit more. If it doesn't work, open it in the mission editor and save it. That should work to update any older mission to the current version. Let us know how it goes if you fly it!

I hope the sound is improved as well. Having fired thousands of rounds with the US Army M2 .50 machine gun, the DCS version feels and sounds more like shooting spit balls than .50 bullets.

Thanks Winston. In this case its only one air unit, so unit dead should do the trick. That's good to know for future reference in case things break again.

Update: changed 'group dead' to 'unit dead' on the enemy air unit due to a bug in todays DCS update.

I fixed all the single player missions by changing group to unit, which is how I should have done them from the beginning anyway. They are all updated and ready for download now. The multiplayer version is still on group since there are groups of 2 planes for each type, so that one will be broken until the bug is patched.

UPDATE: Christmas is saved! Changed all of the 'part of group in zone' triggers to 'unit in zone' so everything should work again despite the DCS trigger zone bug introduced in the last update.

Yea it's any mission that uses 'part of group in zone' which is what I use for all my missions. Hopefully they will hotfix it since that probably breaks most missions available. I suspect some sort of Illuminati plot has caused all this chaos.

The last DCS update (12/16) broke mission triggers for all missions, so we will have to wait for a hotfix or patch until our missions work again. This may or may not have happened as a result of your actions regarding Secret Squirrels chocolates. We may never know the whole story.
