  1. I went the route of using a button matrix with a freejoy and a bluepill board. Its allot of wires, I don't know where you would fit the shift registers in the grips there is not that much room. @flanker0ne Those models look nice, can't wait to see what they look like when you print them out.
  2. Lol. Yea I understand real life tasking destruction of a bridge to AH-64 might not be a realistic proposition. I was asking because of a mission from a campaign I’m flying is tasked todo it. In real life I know a jdam or lgb would get the job done.
  3. Just a quick question, can bridges be destroyed with Hellfire's. I loaded up the live fire range instant action mission and attacked the nearest bridge to the west. I had a hard time actually getting Hellfire's on the target as they seemed to land past the bridge. I did put a couple into the supports and the area where the bridge connects back to land. But no dice.
  4. Not sure there are going to be any edits to the files, as not much activity on this thread. I am currently flying this campaign and having allot of fun. I did have to do a trail of combind arms to accomplish mission 9-1-0, as the tanks were getting stuck on the bridge. Setting new waypoints does mess up the mission as the trigger doesn't get fired for then end waypoint. So I had to manually edit logbook to show I passed mission. I would say don't be afraid to open up the mission files in the editor, I don't think there is anything wrong with doing that.
  5. Would love to have callouts of nearby threats engaging the helo. Ex. “Triple A 3 o’clock low”. “BMP in the trees firing to the left.”
  6. To be clear I was playing as pilot with George as gunner. Even though I was hitting the keybind maybe only works in the gunner seat.
  7. Yea. I am upset I didn’t save the track. I had a good mission in the Georgian hammer campaign. Made it back to the base with the left pylon gone. Was really mad that i couldn’t use the 4 good missles i had in the good pylon. I lost it landing at the base and crushed a poor mp and got convicted of fratricide.
  8. So can anyone confirm if the middle advance function works. I had my left pylon blown off and I tried to set to manual and advance. But it didn’t work.
  9. Although I think this would be neat, I doubt it would get prioritized in the current stack of features. Would be fun to see a "Exit Chopper" and "Navigate to WP#" option. Would make for some cool search and rescue missions.
  10. I hear what you are saying. But it works sometimes and not others using same keybind so seems like a bug.
  11. Has anyone ever had the issue where the comms menu will not open, I was playing a mission on the Georgian Hammer campaign. And Sometimes the menu is available and other times its not. Its very frustrating not being able to send command to wingman. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
  12. I have recently had this behavior when spooling up engines from a cold start.
  13. I saw that @wags posted an update on the mini update thread. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Kudos to @Eight Ballfor the campaign its allot of fun. I had a questions and wanted to see if anyone had an answer, I just finished up mission 5-3-0 and on return to the FARP ATC told me told to go to alternate. I didn't see one listed anywhere. Anyone know what I am supposed todo in that situation? Thanks.
  15. I actually work in software development so I understand how dev projects are managed. I can't tell you how ED manages theirs, but I'm sure they know what features they are working on or plan on working on. I'm not looking for a specific date of a release. But I really don't think that its asking too much to get an order of of features to be released and a general timeframe. This is a product that people paid for so think there is some level of expectations, if it was an opensource volunteer project then I might take your approach.
