But I know a betyer solution then a completely new model, why not make it a selectable option in the wepons selection so it will be like anormal pod but its a refueling probe.

I completely agree with you arguments Recon that it dont exist if its in the 2008 scenario it shouldnt be there but I think DCS is a sandbox game where you can make own missions pre or after 2008. If you dont want it there you can simply ignore it. But the argument you werent sure about with building plans with more is redicolous easy to get. Heres a few of them! But if that to complicated why not ignore it if you dont want it to exist, it isnt a huge airfield. Its just a small tactical airfield in the middle of the map. It wont be the end of DCS Caucassus if it gets added.

I understand everybodies concerns about the scenario of 2008 but why not, we have WW2 aircraft flying around, also Mig 15 and so on against top fighters like F15. Why not? It will have a really big strategical intrests in for example Operation Blueflag because of its position. Maybe if people are so sceptical of it maybe ED can add a button to activate airports after 2008 in the mission editor so everybody haves the opertunity to either remove it for 2008 reasons or have them in for pure tactical and fun!

And if you look closely to the map for Mestia you realise its really empty in that area of the map, its actually like a big hole. I think also as a simulator, DCS should add all airports in the region lastly but I would prefer this airport to be first.

Fun to hear the positve thoughts! But Buzzles, its a new airport but that dosent mean they cant add it because we have lots of aircrafts which is still in use today and DCS isnt a era focused sim.
