  1. Some comms features are not working yet. SRS is working but in game comms may not be possible. We’re looking very closely at it.
  2. Thanks for that input. We are working on the flight model as it will be one of the most challenging aspects of this project as you can tell. Which brings me to my next point. We have real world 45 pilots helping develop the fm and will be leaning heavily on them in the coming weeks as we do a deep dive into that aspect. But do not let that discourage you from giving us any valuable input that you discover. It can only benefit the project in the long run.
  3. Nice! I will make note of this for future reference. Damn that Norton guy!
  4. I have not seen this error. I would delete and reinstall. You may have a corrupt download. I will pass on your problem to the dev team.
  5. I’ve heard that if you have a hard time with that link, signing in to google will help. We are experiencing higher than expected traffic. A good problem to have but we are trying to address it.
  6. That is an odd one. It should work based on what your showing me. Suggest you go to one of our servers and fly a bit. Then convert the track file to a miz and load it in editor to see how it compares to yours.
  7. You can only take control of the front cockpit in single player. For the rear you need to be in multiplayer with a buddy in front.
  8. No need to buy any modules including fc3. Unzip the file into your saved games/dcs openbeta/mods/aircraft folder. Don’t put in main folder. Use saved games folder. See above. Thanks.
  9. The latest build was not tested in 2.5.

  11. A livery skin pack will be made available some point soon but not until all of the art development is done on the aircraft.
  12. Welcome to the release announcement of the T-45C Goshawk Community Module by VNAO! Enjoy https://www.dropbox.com/s/24q5ogvsq0szc7n/vnao_t45_v1.0.zip?dl=0
  13. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIb2dHyxt3o Come and join our stream where we will demonstrate some of the capabilities of the T45C Goshawk and answer questions.
  14. Because we are still working on the final 2.7 adjustments and making the needed changes before release, we thought we'd give you a couple of sneak peaks into the forward cockpit of the VNAO T-45C Goshawk Community Mod. As always we thank you all for your patience. Enjoy!
  15. Once again, the T-45 will be released after 2.7 has been released so that we can run tests to make sure that it works in 2.7 as it has in 2.5. When we release it, we will let everyone know via this forum, our discord and our Facebook page as well as any other venue we can think of. Thanks,
  16. Greetings, Today we had the honor and the pleasure to showcase the Goshawk at the MVP Sochi 2021 event. Here's a shot and a shout out to the pilots that brought it to you. Enjoy!
  17. She went down yesterday but both pilots survived with non-life threatening injuries. She was very pretty. She will fly again in our mod and we thank her for her service. i
  18. I will answer as many of these as I can. 1. it is our goal to have the instructor in the back be able to do all of the things that instructors do in the real aircraft. Having said that, those things may not be a part of the first early release. The plane will be functional enough for virtual wings to use for case I training and basic flight training. 1.5 Some of these systems are already working, though without knowing how they will respond in 2.7, I won’t go further into what is and is not going to be available at release. 2. the front seat is our main priority. The instructors will be able to fly the plane, but clickable will be an ongoing progression until it is all done. 3. it is my understanding that starts are done from the front seat and the plane is never flown solo from the back. I will look into this further but our goal is to achieve as close to accuracy as possible. It is able to cold start from the front. That much is certain. 4. sync issues are troublesome, but we will give more information about that on release. Look up VNAO on Facebook and you will find links on where and how to support us.
  19. The pods have the ability to carry rocket pods with any kind of ordinance. The Navy, however, hasn't used rockets in quite a while. According to many pilots we've talked to, they haven't been used in twenty years or so. Our mod will only be able to carry smoke rockets, as that is what was historically used for training. The hawk used in other air forces around the world may use different ordinance loadouts, but as this is a Goshawk, we will only represent what was actually used historically by the US Navy. Hope this helps.
  20. The maintainers have pulled them onto the washrack and are getting the final safe for flight inspections done to prepare for launch. Enjoy!!
  21. Just to clarify what was said about about an 'end of March' release. It really depends on when the major 2.7 DCS OB patch releases. We will most likely NOT release until after that so we can smoke check the plane with the new code. It would be unfortunate to release the plane at end of March in 2.5, 2.7 drops 1st week of April and there is a show stopper bug introduced. That's not fair to all of you and don't want to have that potentially happen. So, we will monitor the forums, ED news and weekly update emails and try to time the release as close to after 2.7 drops as possible so we can test then immediately release if we don't find any issues. Hope that info helps clarify things a bit.
  22. That’s a very complicated question. The simple answer is yes, we have considered it. No, we won’t go into further details though. We prefer to focus on the immediate and current plans.
  23. Challenge accepted!
