  1. It is in close. But not “at the ramp”
  2. Rest assured we are burning the midnight oil to get this bird to early access release. Until then, here are some preview shots from our media vault. Remember, these are WIP shots and are subject to change. Enjoy! ~
  3. Yes, the liveries that will be included in early access are nearly complete and a livery template will be offered in .psd form.

  5. The T-45C is strictly a Naval jet trainer. No active weapons, however it does have training bombs and rockets. The bombs and rockets are intended to be included with the T-45C upon initial early access release. They have already been tested in CCIP mode. Yes, it does have to multifunction displays and we are trying to get all the controls that are active on the place to be profiled in the controls settings. This would include TM MFDs and indeed any other controls that can be recognized by DCS.
  6. Testing always continues on every patch and version of DCS that is released. We have no reason to suspect at this time that the 45 will not work in any future versions, including 2.7 We have initial tests where we have SRS working. The other radios and controls are being looked at. I don't mean to mislead. All things are possible. Just more difficult without an open SDK. But we will continue to work hard to make as much possible.
  7. Our target release is first quarter 2021. We are working very hard to make your patience and waiting worth it.
  8. No offense taken whatsoever. Just wanted to be clear. Thanks!
  9. No we are not starting from scratch. Anything you have seen in videos and pictures up to now has been WIP and subject to change. It was always our intention to create high quality interior and exterior modeling with PBR textures. As we move forward, these models will get more and more attention.
  10. Work steadily continues on the VNAO T-45C Goshawk. Here is a shot of the wet compass, which is a great example of the type of quality we will see in the cockpit art. Enjoy! One more of the right panels.
  11. It is still working as intended. We use it all the time. Reskinnable and surviving many patches. So far so good.
  12. None so far. This mod is still working as intended and can be downloaded in user files at digitalcombatsimulator.com.
  13. Everyone please catch our interview with the Grim Reapers on YT. Lot's of questions answered and information regarding the T45c development.
  14. Here's a couple of sneak peek shots of the Goshawk. The cockpit is being worked on and some really good progress was made on the external model. Systems are being coded in and the flight model is starting to come together. Though we can't yet give a release date, we are happy with the progress and things are getting very exciting.
  15. In case you missed it. Check out the T-45c demo at:
  16. Don't forget tomorrow is the East Kirkby Virtual Air-Show. Unfortunately for us here stateside it has been scheduled a little early. It starts at 10am GMT +1, which is 3am PST or 6am EST and is expected to last five hours. Don't forget, the VNAO T-45c will be showcased in the show sometime in the middle. It will be broadcast on twitch at the following channel info: https://m.twitch.tv/fox2_productions/profile
  17. Though this mod is not released yet. It is completely self contained and does not require any FC3,SU-25 or anything else to run. Completely built from the ground up. Thanks for moving the post.
  18. Amazing. VNAO is going to look at this for use as the standard. Thanks for this!
  19. Pop, you and Lex definitely should get together. A melding of the minds between old school and new hotness would be a sight to see. Having met you both, I would pay money to be a fly on the wall for that meeting. One couldn't help but learn something from listening to you both palaver.
  20. We have one going. Stop by our discord and we will explain how it works and where to get it. https://discord.gg/FSH8rFd
  21. No, that wasn’t the reason. We chose the A primarily because it fits with the timeline of the tomcat and legacy hornet.
  22. I just meant that we aren't ready to announce details. We are currently testing the flight model and carrier ops. Work continues.
  23. Nothing just yet. There will be more to come. The project is still early, though we wanted to announce its existence to everyone and felt it was far enough along to do that.
  24. VNAO is back in the mod business. The following project is our follow up to the VR Ready Room Mod and LSO Platform mod. More to come. https://www.vnao-cvw-7.com/skunk-works Some more info on this and other projects from VNAO: What started as the T-45A and has since been changed to the C is the first iteration of the goshawk trainer that is currently in use by the US Navy. The McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) T-45 Goshawk is a highly modified version of the British BAE Systems Hawk land-based training jet aircraft. Manufactured by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and British Aerospace (now BAE Systems), the T-45 is used by the United States Navy as an aircraft carrier-capable trainer. VNAO has decided to bring this mod to the community as a way of providing yet one more beautiful carrier-capable aircraft to the ever-popular carrier operations platform. This aircraft fills a niche that was left empty when other trainers, such as the T-2 Buckeye, were cancelled. The dev team from VNAO is working closely with no less than three real-world pilots who have flown the Goshawk as technical advisers with regards to the flight models and technical systems of the aircraft. In addition, we have gotten help for many of the technical systems by current real world maintainers and we thank them and the pilots for their invaluable input. The goal here is to make it as realistic as possible. Our first initial release is 1.0. Though the aircraft is far from complete, we feel that this early access version is useful for implementation by virtual CVWs and squadrons who would like to have an intro level aircraft to train and expose new pilots to carrier operations as done by the US Navy training program.
