back to subject...now P-51D Mustang is what I am hoping for...I do think other discussion of engine wear and other stuff should be discussed in another thread..:music_whistling:

Back on Track... Looking forward to the P-51D Mustang....Second World War changer...in the Air Combat Scene

Yes, to date ED has the best platform for Aerobatic teams(Formation Flights)
-
If ED can model prop aircraft I do believe they just may corner the flight sim market even more... Who knows maybe ED could team up with A2A Simulation they do excellent work on the P-51D and Spits also with Accu-Sim Spits and soon to come Accu-Sim P-51D:music_whistling:

I agree the " C " stands for Combat..and yes it would be nice for the legends having combat weapons ready to do old fashion dogfights.. I also agree if it " Flying Legends " only goes as far as photo ops and racing then why bother..I am for the old fashion " Dogfights " with the P-51D or a FE-109..I know it seems taking a step backwards..but I think its a step forward if they provide a out standing " Flying Legends " flight model's then IL-2 look out.. I

A weaponized combat aircraft then it be a big " WoW " for me then..

Okay let me explain why I would like to see these " Legends " aircraft weapons ready... Firstly since DCS's engine is weapons capable it would be easy for them to impliment it..also the aircraft detail and like some mention their damage model's are excellent..and the added mod's of " Air and Ground " units by members is well above average to the point of amazing..and DCS's detail to flight dynamics is extremely great it would be a nice addition to their Sim series..I feel as great as IL-2 and its new added additions..DCS doing this could again put themselves ahead of the pack in the Flight sim industry..not that they needs this..for instance in FSX where A2A Simulation has done a extremely great job of the P-51D Mustang(soon Accu-Sim Mustang)/Accu-Sim Spitfire/Accu-Sim B-17..there is only just flying around no combat as to say...meaning in FSX its just for flying around..I find that okay to do for awhile then after it sort of gets boring..so if DCS is only making the " Legends " flight only without weapons...then its just an extension of FSX..:) But to add to this I would still make the purchase ... so early 2012 is not coming fast enough....

LOL...sooooo your a crash and burn type of guy..the mechanic's will begin to hate you ..cause of all the fixing up they have to do...LOL
-
Roger that...well remember as the war dragged on the more skilled pilot became scarse...dying off... due to being tired and making bad mistakes..from the constant Combat flights against the German bombers..and fighter escorts..
-
Really how so?
-
Ah yes, the Phantom F4E and the F86 Sabre..sweet..my other passion is the F4E Phantom...
-
Are you serious!!! DCS/Flaming Cliffs is a combat sim...if not then why oh why all the missles and machine guns..geez...man chill go fly FSX if you are tired of Combat...:music_whistling: Bud I think you should chill out..if it was up to you maybe these Jets went weaponless... Oh! PS: I don't think you'd be happy with anything else.. unless you suggested it to be what you want or what it should be..no one is more important than you am I right.... And why not go back to an era where " Dogfighting " skills were sneaking up his six and gunning him down rather than shooting a missle from miles away and you don't even get to see your opponents face..WWII is where the real " Dogfighting " skills were at..
-
Its a remake of the original " Tuskegee Airmen " with Lawrence Fishburn and others..in this remake some of the original actors are in this new remake also... Also I respect and admire those men ..they battled two fronts..one side the " German " the other side their own country..USA..thru prejudice and conflict..
-
, Well with this new... news..of the Legends..I am wondering will their weapons be active..for good old fashion " Dogfighting " Mustangs/Spitfires/FE109 in " Dogfights " action...Hmmmm... If this is so..then damn I am in all the way I am in anyways..I love the P-51D Mustang always have...I love this vintage Aircraft....but to have DCS having weapons active would be a bonus for me... :pilotfly: As a young lad..I built two models of the P-51D Mustang...and cheerished them dearly...just a beautiful machine..

Don't shoot the messenger...
Bearitall replied to toby23's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hey Toby; Yes, this is alittle late in answering but ...Buddy don't listen to these e-bullies..its members like you who go and make fantastic mods for LoMAC/FC2 to move the sim forward..without members who do modding on their free time and free of cost... we will still be in the first Atari era...please please don't stop making mods..and if they don't like your mods well these guys/girls should do their own mods and pipe down..and fly their own...again " Please Please Please " don't stop.. Cheers -
I agree with GA... I award you the Gold Cup

I like this idea...but the part you show in blue to weld the new support is a removable steering plate racing sim's..so this can't be done .. if it is done its permenant...but you idea has given me another direction to closely look into...:thumbup:

Each member should join separately...and you can translate for them...and if need be we can find someone who could help...

Yea,I did finally solve the pedals problem..its a tight fit..with the obutto plate for the pedals..it takes a bit of fitting the pedals in .. Now I don't know how I survived without the " Obutto "..you can build around this..if you feel the need for it... Four thumbs up...:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: You slide the pedals to the smallest foot size...
