Lock On 1.12b Crashes
Bearitall replied to pauldy's topic in Lock On v.1.0x and Flaming Cliffs v.1.1x
Your wrong again...its not worth playing if you are gonna go as far as 2gig ram...FC2 is at least gonna use most of 4gig ram...if you only use 2gig ram for FC2 and go multi-player you will lag out everyone...system will be too slow and not worth the trouble...:music_whistling: -

Bearitall replied to pauldy's topic in Lock On v.1.0x and Flaming Cliffs v.1.1x
Yea, could be the newer model of the F-15, also is the F-15 model for LoMAC 1.12b or for FC2...if its for FC2 then thats the problem...double check what version of LoMAC it is designed for.... -

Hey is this right It could be your ram...you only have 1gb you should have at least 4gb ram...and this will be a bigger problem for you if you choose to buy FC2...you need more ram... My system is: Quad Core 8gb Nvidia GTX 8800 768mb onboard ram 4gb ram Windows XP SP2 -
Okay, glad you see I was not trying to insult you... Like I said earlier Vista was to be a full Launch..with updates along the way, but the many failures of it...made MS turn a different direction..and stripped it down to scratch and then developed " Win7 " and in actual fact " Win7 " is a patch to " Vista " but enough of that..just glad to see MS come back to the Flight Sim Community...cheers...

Sorry I fail to see where I insulted you? All I am asking is how you can say " Vista " was made for " Win7", when in fact " Win7 " came out after " Vista ". M$ decided to rename Vista patch to Win7.. so Win7 in actual fact Win7 is Vista but in a different version....so in fact Win7 is a patch for Vista but fully modified..and renamed to Win7, since the bad rap that Vista got marketing decide, two things.. First we can monopolize this by making Win7 appear as a different and new OS..so now we can charge more and make more money...without users knowing they are paying for a patch... Second is that if they were to announce " Win7 " as a patch for Vista they were concerned users would avoid it...thinking it would create havoc on their systems on top of the problems they have now... Developers theroy: Idea develop it test it sell it..even if it has bugs/glitches..(developers thoughts....time to make money and we will deal with the bugs/glitches when they arise) 90% software/games are sold with some sort of glitch/bug in them and developers send them out there to get users to buy them..to start making money and again like I said developers deal with these glitches/bugs later...I too have been in IT industry for a short time and also took marketing development, if you took offence to what I said well sorry for that just wanted for you to show your theroy of your statement:thumbup::lol:

LOL who told you that man..I was told by many experts...that Win7 is a patch for Vista's problems...and was to correct them..but Marketing advised Management to rename it to Win7 to reduce the backlash..of " Vista "... So to me what you are saying is that they release the patch which is " Vista " before they released Win7...that makes no sense...Vista was to be a full launch with other updates..but it failed..so MS had to rethink their solution...and did a redo..of whole OP..and named it Win7 to reclaim the public and defuse the dismay of Vista... Thats all I have to say on this...cause I know you believe you will have more infinite wisdom than me...or so you think...but whatever.... You believe what you want and I will believe what I want .. and on that note I have some swamp land if you are interested!!!!!!:music_whistling:

Windows 7 is a Vista patch, but because of all the bad hype about vista, MicroSoft were afraid of anyone buying it so they called it " Windows 7 "

Gripen, Viggen & Friends 2.0
Bearitall replied to VireVolte_tigrou's topic in Lock On: Flaming Cliffs 1 & 2
You need to install it thru ModMan:thumbup: -
Hey Grimes; That is an interesting concept, I think that it would add to the simulation even more..where you were given instructions from " Command " of possible threats and CAS it will add interesting test of a pilots skills in what knowing how to use cockpit instruments..cause info was given in like " Unknown, heading 240, angels 5" ..nice idea man:thumbup:

New Cougar Throttles Blowout Sale
Bearitall replied to Protos's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Throttle is not stand alone must have the stick for full compliance..looking back at my post I answered rather quickly sorry for that..the sale makes no sense in the fact that either they had many TM and most had unworkable Joystick, so were stuck with the Throttle..so let's dump these attitude was implimented..who knows maybe there are members with broken down throttle out there ..
